Denny’s

It would have been nice if the manager could have taken time away from talking with friends while at the hostess stand to seat us. We did eventually get seated, but after sitting for about 5 more minutes without a server even saying hello we left. Sent an email to Denny’s customer service and after 5 days there has been no response. I guess when you are so big the issue of one customer means nothing.

Surprisingly finest experience. Super friendly staff. No lines, food came very fas in less then 5 min. Spaghetti comes with fresh corn and shredded cheese. They give you dressing on a side with no special request. Great!!!

This is our closest Denny’s. As any former Denny’s server can tell you, sometimes you just crave those hashbrowns! So when that craving strikes, we head over to this location. The last two visits though were not good… The service is bad. Forgetful, inattentive workers who make no effort to hide the fact that they could care less about you. I only go to this location for convenience.

Best service ever… we sat at the bar and our host name was Hugo he was awesome, very attentive and funny.

Maybe they are short staffed due to New Year’s Eve so therefor, I’m giving it 2 stars. Waitress took our order. Asked her for silverware. Our coffee came… no silverware. We asked the busboy for silverware. He asked who was our waitress. He told our waitress we needed silverware. She turned to look at us, then continued to take another order. The hostess noticed. The hostess came to our table and asked if everything was ok. We asked for silverware. The waitress brought our soft drink., no straw. He had to go ask for a straw. By the time we got our silverware, our coffee was cold. Our order came. My eggs didn’t have cheese… I had asked for cheese. We had to go ask for our buffalo sauce and extra ranch (we had previously orders it). No butter or syrup with our French toast. We had to go ask for it. My meal came with coffee and a juice. I was never offered my juice until we asked. We asked what kind of pies did they have. We ordered a slice of pumpkin pie (which the waitress said they had). She then came back and said they didn’t have pumpkin pie. I’m tiered so I’ll stop typing.

This is my favorite Denny’s in the area, the servers are always friendly! My orders are almost always correct, there have been a few exceptions but the waitresses that have helped me have always been helpful in correcting any mistake, and delivered quickly.
Two of the best servers I have encountered are Cindy and Tauryn!

The quality of their take out is really aweful! Avocado slices are black, sautee vegetables are swimming in oil. So much for their healthy choices.

Denny’s is nostalgic for me. My dad would take me here all the time as a kid and i would always meet former beau for breakfast after his shift. Good times.
I know denny’s is a diner/​chain restaurant but the food is good (comfort food) and it’s a very versatile restaurant for family, friends or by yourself. Nobody will give you the evil eye if you sit at a booth alone.
I’ve been here plenty of times for breakfast, lunch and dinner for both indoor dining and takeout. My favorite breakfast item is the french toast grand slam just because i love french toast with a side of hash browns just because i love hash browns. Club sandwich is a good choice for lunch. Steak skillet was also really good. Tender juicy meat. I was expecting dry hard to chew meat but no. Fried egg was a no for me though just because i don’t like eggs (specifically yolk). Other than that, everything was great.
Location is convenient as its right off the 60 freeway seventh ave exit next to in n out. Can’t miss it.
If you’re in the mood for traditional all american comfort food or a quick bite to eat/​midnight snack, give denny’s a try. I think they’re open 24 hours. So convenient.

A week ago I visited this place since is a few steps away from my home. In the past I had really bad experiences with this place. Waitresses had a bad attitude, cold food and management was really bad. But to our surprise I walked in a renovated restaurant great service from this waiter (José) that he went out of his way to help us he was great. I am going to visit this place more often
thank you Danny’s for bringing back this great service restaurant to our neighborhood. We waited for a long time to get this great service in our town.

Friendly quick service greeted right away as soon as I entered a good typical food experience. Also no flys like someone else had posted.

Denny’s, simple and magnificent, with the low price, the portion they serve is unbelievable! They have the $ 2, $ 4, $ 6, $ 8 dollar menu that is worth mentioning.
Those who love pancakes, you should try the All-​you-​can-​eat pancake for $ 4 dollars! It comes with 3 pancakes and you refill when you are done (2 pancakes each after the first). However, you aren’t «supposed» to share it!
For those who don’t know what to drink, try ordering hot water, honey and lemon. It’s free of charge !
Overall, pretty satisfied with their service here. This place has been renovated with new seats, tables, and wooden floor??? Something like that!

Been around to every greasy spoon across LA and have not found a single meal of steak and eggs worthy of praise. Somehow this particular Denny’s won me over?

We ate at Dennys tonight with our 4 year old son Keilan. I have never had better food than tonight unless I cooked it myself! Everything was great! Our server Jose S. was an outstanding server and we had to tell him we had never had a better waiter before! This place was a real surprise after eating at Red Lobster over the weekend this was way better! We wish we could have a waiter and cook like this place has every where we go to eat! We travel alot all over the country and just popped into this place because it was close to a gas station we had stopped at. Check this place out yourself, it was great! Honestly, I’ve given this Denny’s too many second try’s. Every visit gets worse and worse. From smaller portioned foods to forgetting to bring an entire meal to lipstick stains on my mug. I’m sorry Denny’s on 7^th but I’m opting out for Denny’s in la puente. Service is the worst. No refills on water? C’mon

The first Denny’s that I have ever been to that does not serve alcohol/​beer. I did not even know that was a thing. You are even located right next to a hotel? Oh well, on to dinner.
Ordered the steak, medium rare. Came out well done. Had no flavor what so ever.
My daughter order Mac and Cheese from the kids menu. Got «real» Kraft Mac and Cheese, cooked to perfection. I asked for Mac and Cheese as a side with my steak, and got some dry, over cooked, bland, home made Mac and Cheese. I ended up stealing some Kraft from my daughter.
My wife ordered the pot roast. Dry, overcooked, way too salty. Some pieces of beef were so over cooked they were crunchy on the edges. (like when you overcook meat in a microwave).
Definitely not coming back to this location. Only this location. Will continue to visit other Denny’s locations.

My neighborhood Denny’s! I loved the egg white omelette! I’ve been here many times. Always get decent service. Food is always warm and tasty!

Usually not the dennys I like to go to (my favorite is on hacienda and valley) but not bad for getting right off the freeway. We came today (Tuesday’) since kids eat free ! (4pm-​10pm) it’s not really busy only a couple people but seeing how they only have two waitresses it does take a bit long to get refills and what not. The 3 stars are for the food… didn’t really dig my club sanwish… way to toasted. But other than that u do get that old school dinner feel… right off the highway and music is nothing but oldies.

This was an amazing experience here at Denny’s. My boyfriend and I went for breakfast and we both ordered skillets. (One was chicken amd the other was the Cali Avacado).They tasted delicious & having extra jalapenos added on was yummy. The service was excellent and the people were so delightful.
Our waiter, Mando, was so kind and always came to our table to ask how we are doing. Great service!

What a pleasant experience. Came in for breakfast because i beat the traffic and had a half an hour to burn before work. Ive was craving a waffle and ordered the Belgian Waffle Slam (egg whites with sauteed mushrooms and spinach) sausage and bacon. Yummm! Good food, great service. Soft, yet therr were some crispy areas on the golden brown waffle, delicious!

My parents come here every week and they love it! So during a recent visit with them, I came along with them to breakfast. Denny’s has great deals with eggs, bacon, pancakes, whatever you like for reasonable prices. Service was nice, quick and welcoming. Thank you for taking care of my parents for the past couple years! I will come back with them during my next trip home!
