Low Tide Kava Bar

A cool place with a laid back theme. The selections were good, offering more than just kava. They have many themed nights with lots to do.
What interested me even more, is the different kinds of people they attract. From hipsters to professionals (I’m somewhere in between). It was a really eclectic feel.

I decided to drive over the Skyway to check out my first Kava bar yesterday with my daughter and I was really excited because I had heard so many good things about Kava/​Kratom bars. This one in my opinion had better reviews so I decided to go their first. I had read a review where everyone was super friendly and it was family friendly (That was the part that sealed the deal because I was bringing my young daughter). This wasn’t really the case. As soon as we walked up everyone outside got quiet and was just staring at us. Ignoring that we continued to walk inside where one of the workers said Hello. We waited a few more minutes just standing their awkwardly when a man asked me what I wanted. I explained this was my first time in but I was interested in Kratom. He said «Okay what kind?.» Again I mentioned to him I wasn’t sure because I didn’t know what they had and this was my first time. He did ask me what feeling I was going for and I finally said Euphoria. He then asks me «Single or a double?» and I explained for the 3^rd time I was new and unsure but this time I asked what he would recommend for a newbie. He said «Single» he told me the price then just told me to pay over here and that was it. My daughter was also super uncomfortable with the place and the vibe so she asked for us to get out of there. We wont be coming back. We did end up finding another Kava bar around the corner that took the time to explain everything and make us feel welcome. Maybe I wasn’t dressed right or maybe it was because I had my kid. who knows but Customer Service is the first chance at an impression you get and can make or break a quality product. I gave this two stars because I did like the Green Kratom.

One of my favorite DTSP restaurants. Just ordered the Guinness Burger and it looks delish. When I first moved to St. Pete in 2010, this place was my place to go to for dinner. I would sit outside to see the water and during the holidays watch the horse and carriage go by. They have a wide variety of dishes that are wonderful.

Great kratom for a great price. Nice people too. I like coming here to work remotely during the day. They’re also on Perka, so download that to start accumulating points for free kratom & kava.

Awesome place to just chill out and relax with friends that become family.
Their Kava and kratom is stronger than the competition, but their prices are lower.

Cool place, but the only issue is the bar. If all the seats are taken at the bar its hard to get a drink. They should leave an area opened up so you can walk up to the bar and order since there arent any waiters walking around taking orders… also, you usually have to remind certain bartenders to give you your Perka perks. I’ve left there many times without getting ”Perked” after I asked them to do so. Now I wait and remind them if they forget

I’ve been looking for a place where I can meet people over a «drink» that doesn’t contain alcohol and drunk idiots. I found it!
The staff here is very informative and explained everything to me since I was a newbie to kava and kratom. I’ve brought many friends here including my dad and we love it.
It’s a very relaxed atmosphere with board games, video games, relaxed couches, a bar, corn toss and more.
I recommend ordering the ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ kava for mind and body. You will get a relaxed feeling.
The cost of a kava is $ 3-​$ 3.50 and kratom is $ 5
If you decide you want to take a walk the waterfront is only about 3 blocks away where you can sit and enjoy your beverage.

Recently opened, but they’re already doing everything right. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, and seems like a perfect fit for this location.
If you like kava, you are going to LOVE this place. I believe it is one of two total kava lounges in the St Pete area.
Very chill atmosphere, great art, nice people… highest recommendation.
They accept credit cards, and a single kava runs about 3.50. Kratom runs 5.00/single and comes in a variety of great mixes.
EDIT: I have been there multiple times now and just can’t say enough about the great service.
