I started going to Tiffany about 4 years ago & she is by far the BEST hairdresser I have EVER been to. To the untrained eye, I have frizzy straight hair at best. Tiffany did a curly hair analysis and discovered that I have curls! She does dry cuts and provides a specific routine and product line recommendation for how to get the look at home. UNLIKE any other salon or hairsylist Tiffany DOESN’T push products down your throat or make you spend $ 100 on them in salon. In fact, my initial hair shampoo & conditioner recommendation was Suave Tropical Coconut! I now use Shea Moisture (the full Coconut & HIbiscus line) and LA Looks gel. SUPER high end results for a really reasonable affect on your purse! I also love that I go get my highlights done at a salon who specializes in color and Tiffany never nags me or complains or says the stylist doesn’t know what she is doing. She complimented my color and said it looked great! She is an amazing stylist and let’s face it her hair is THE most gorgeous of all! I will always have Tiffany cut my hair as long as she is around!

Tiffany did an incredible job on my hair cut and educating me on maintaining my style! She is very knowledgable and provides step by step tips specially for your hair. The first appointment takes two hours and costs $ 135 but this is reasonable for the experience. Especially since you only go one a year the price is ok because you get what you pay for. Cuts after that start at $ 46. Tiffany has beautiful curly hair as well so she knows what she is talking about. Self taught and I was very impressed with results. So glad I finally found my hairdresser! Ivette in the office was also very sweet and the two of them together equal a fun time. Thank you Tiffany!

I’ve been a client for 5+ years… I thought I was doing OK in managing my extremely thick, curly hair on my own, but once Tiffany showed me her method for caring for curls, I’ve never looked back. My hair has never been so soft, shiny and defined, and my scalp no longer suffers either. She is also a whiz with cuts and coloring — I always equated going shorter with poofy disaster, but I have to say I am loving the short-​medium cut the most out of all the styles I have tried. I never thought I could go this short and still have hair that moves and falls gracefully. She’s genius-​level.

Tiffany scheduled a longer consultation and dry curly hair cut for my first appointment. She didn’t try to sell products, and she does carry the Curl Junkie line. She explained the best ingredients and hair care routine for my hair texture and porosity. She understood I was trying to grow out my hair. She has cut and styled my hair once again since the initial hair consult and cut. It grows out easily without needing cuts except maybe every six months. It is easy to maintain.

I just left Live Curly, Live Free and I have’t been happier with my hair in years! I always had big wild curly hair and a few years ago, it stopped curling. To say my heart broke is an understatement. I sort of gave up, I thought, «maybe my hair is just not curly anymore…»
Then a few months ago, a friend of mine went to Tiffany to get her hair done and posted about it. i saw the name of the salon and I knew I HAD to try it out! I was absolutely not disappointed!
My appointment was so much more than a haircut! We talked abt life, family, and work. We laughed a lot and it was like visiting with an old friend!
And on top of all of that, my hair looks great! It’s got so much more curl, body, and life! She listened, gave me a lot of great info on how to care for my hair, and explained to me why what I was already doing wasn’t working!
I will recommend this salon and Tiffany to all of my curly girl friends!

We drive over an hour to get my daughter’s hair cut at this salon!
My daughter has beautiful curly hair that wasn’t looking its best. A curly hair friend recommended Tiffany and we were thrilled. The salon is quaint and cozy, but Tiffany’s focus and friendliness soon put my daughter at ease. Although I originally thought the first appointment long and perhaps expensive. It turned out that going to Live Curly Live Free actually saved me money. Instead of purchasing expensive shampoos and hair products, my daughter found ones that work better for her at less cost.
It was worth the shlep.

Tiffany is flat out (no pun intended) the BEST for curly hair! I fly all the way from Massachusetts for her to cut my hair. .. ok, maybe not JUST to see Tiffany, but she is always one of my stops whenever I’m in the Tampa Bay area. She has so much patience and great advice. She isn’t loyal to one brand, i.e. doesn’t try to sell you stuff, but rather just gives honest advice on what products she thinks would work best for your hair type (because not all curly hair is the same!). I’m yet to find a stylist in Boston that I like even half as much as Tiffany, and they charge me 3 or 4 times as much! Her new salon is very cute and welcoming and the neighborhood it’s in is very fun, so build in a few extra hours to your visit with Tiffany for lunch and shopping. Make your appointment today, you won’t be sorry.

Tiffany rocks! She «gets» curly hair and will happily share her experience (as a curly lady herself) and tips for best results. Finally a cut that looks as nice curly or straight. Plus, following her hair care guidelines, if I take the time to blow dry straight during the summer it actually stays nice and doesn’t get frizzy or melt the minute I walk out the door. I am saving a ton in hair care products AND love the results. I was somewhat following the Curly Girl (book) guidelines before I went to see her but Tiffany makes it real and takes it beyond (without having to order from NYC or mix up home brews), all while listening to your concerns and/​or questions. Ladies travel from all over to see her so don’t wait to schedule your appointment — do it today; you won’t regret it. One note: she cuts dry so go in curly.
