I rated this place 4 stars because I know this is probably if not the only authentic mexican resteraunt that has what you’re looking for. If tacos is what you want than come here! Im from San Diego, Ca. I’m only in The Gulpfort are because I am in the Navy and here temporarily. The prices are very fair. They a wide selection of carne asada, pastor, buche, csrnitas, and chicken. I personally like the pastor and carne asada. They all sell tortas (sandwiches). The horchata is on point and and salse selection is delicious ans savory. If you eat a lot than 4 tacos should do the job.

Being from Cali, I love tacos. There’s not a lot of great Mexican places out here though. But this place has the best tacos. This isn’t your taco Tuesday tacos. You want real tacos, come here. Simple menu. It’s like a taco truck but in restaurant form. You will not be disappointed.

Been away from San Diego for 10 months now, and missed the tacos real bad. This place just made up for that. We ordered one of each of the tacos and I decided to even try a marinated pork po-​boy and it was all good. Their fade is made fresh, grilled right in front of you. On a corn tortilla with some good salsa from the salsa bar it’s legit Mexican cuisine. If you are from California like I am and enjoy a great taco, go here and no where else. I also had a go at the horchata, I should have got two instead or at least a refill. They also have imported Mexican beer with a couple domestics, and soft drinks.

Most authentic yet, got three tacos lengua, pollo and carnitas and a pollo torta to go

The carnitas tacos are unreal!!! So delicious and only $ 2.50! My husband liked the carne Asada torta. We like to order To go. Highly recommended if you love authentic tacos!

Came from San Diego California six months ago and I’ve been looking for a real Mexican taco shop. Just found it! Tacos are the bomb!
And they have all the Mexican beers too (which are hard to find around here)

street fare style tacos where i go to feed my fix. Cheap and great lunch spot. dont expect anything special its tacos and a small salsa bar and thats it. But if you are looking for authentic taco taste here is your spot. For this place to be a 5 star they need homemade tortillas.

I’ve never been in Gulfport, Biloxi or anywhere in Mississippi before and to my surprise there are lots of Mexican restaurants on every corner. I’ve tried several places and this place by far has the most authentic, mouthwatering, well marinated, inexpensive street tacos! They have different meat variety for your tacos like asada, lenguas, carnitas, buche, pastor, and pollo. Not only that you can pair it with their Domestic or Imported beer selection and/​or with their Mexican sodas (Jarritos & Coke).
Hands down they the best street tacos I’ve ever had in the south! Having come from a big city close to the Mexican border.
I highly recommend this place before going anywhere else. It’s a hole in wall with great & cheap street tacos!
