We ordered a few entrees and were happy with how every dish turned out. Everyone shared and enjoyed each thing. The spring rolls were really crisp and tasty. The staff was also very accommodating. Even though we came in late, they made us feel welcome.

Amazingly good food in this small town. The Massaman Curry is the bomb. The staff is friendly and very caring.

This was a casual Thai place with very tasty food. They usually have a dish or two with locally caught fish on the menu but they were out when we arrived. If you ask for spicy you will get spicy! The curry dishes were good sized and delicious. The desserts were interesting and good too. The beer was $ 4 for a decent bottle.

Only eaten here once, but was very pleased by all we got. Looking forward to expanding the review as we continue to discover the menu.

Good food and great service! We went there for a birthday dinner. We were running late for our reservation time and they were very accommodating. They have a pretty extensive menu and we couldn’t decide what to order. The waitress was very helpful, taking account of our personal preferences. We ordered the Pumpkin Curry and Cashew Chicken. Both were very good. What I really appreciated was that they kept the flavors authentic, not trying to skimp in any way given there aren’t many Thai restaurants in the area. They also gave us a beautiful rose and complimentary dessert to celebrate the birthday. We would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

Don’t blink your eyes as you pass thru Anchor Bay or you’ll miss this little gem! Good food and service with great company on Mother’s Day! Will definitely return to try more from the menu. Pad Thai w/chicken was excellent!

This place has the best chicken teriyaki! And my husband loved the Pad Thai dish he had and everyone was quite friendly! Very good experience.

Upping the rating to 5 based on the takeout we had tonight. Crispy tofu, spring rolls, Pad Ke Mow and Panang Curry. Everything was excellent and the fact that it was takeout didn’t lessen the quality/taste. In fact, the curry was better takeout than when we had it in the restaurant. So not only is this a top notch thai place, it’s a top notch thai place about 10 – 15 minutes from Sea Ranch. I called in the order, got in the car and it was ready when I arrived. Total must try if you’re at Sea Ranch and craving good Thai.

This unassuming place has very tasty Thai food. They offer beer and wine as well as various soft drinks and teas. The orange chicken is very good. I also like the pineapple fried rice.

This small modest restaurant has some of the best Thai food I’ve tasted. I did live in Thailand for a stint in my 20’s, and I currently reside in Los Angeles where a plethora of Thai restaurants thrive. Recommend the green curry, it’s balance of basil, chillies, lemon grass, coconut milk, and a bunch of stuff that I can’t even name, makes my mouth sooo happy. The green tea gelato with black rice pudding is insane it’s so good! Please order this dish! Warm rice pudding topped with cool ice cream is heaven in a goblet. The taste is memorable. Every dish served is served with delicacy, expertise, and love. So good!!!

I will expand my review later, after I recover from my happy food coma. Larb and green curry — with difficulty my wife restrained me from licking the plate.

Well, I finally broke my pad kee mow streak and tried the red curry — excellent!!! Just be sure to get the rice as you won’t want to waste any of the excellent curry, but be prepared to take some home as the portion is very generous! Another delicious dish is the fresh tofu filled spring rolls(not fried) — the wrapping is paper thin holding a delicious combination of basil, cilantro and other herbs with a tofu center, accompanied by a sweet dipping sauce — wow!

Sometimes, you just want to try something different while you’re on vacation. As a frequent visitor to the coast, I was surprised and delighted to find a Thai restaurant. Little did I realize that it would actually be delicious, quality Thai food! The curries here rival the Thai food that I get regularly in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and the bay area. They are full of flavor, appropriately spiced, and mouth watering. Other food(e.g. pad kee mao) was also absolutely delicious. If you find yourself in Anchor Bay, I definitely recommend this restaurant, especially if you’re looking for something different than Neo-Californian cuisine that is so prevalent in these areas.

This is our favorite restaurant on the coast, where we spend our down time away from the city. The food from the kitchen is impeccable, and the owners are friendly and sincere. We always order plenty and take home leftovers for another meal. Their salmon specials made with locally caught salmon from Point Arena are among our favorites. We know they buy local and support the local fishing families because we see the fishermen come in with their catch! It costs a little more than farmed but the taste is well worth it. Some of our friends who eat vegan or gluten free foods give this place two thumbs up too. Our only quibble is that the junior wait staff can be a little clueless and slow– we’ve had to ask for serving spoons for dishes and for plates to be cleared. All considered, these are minor issues in an otherwise top notch local Asian restaurant with high culinary and freshness standards.

Had a great dinner here on the July 4 weekend. It was very busy when we entered, but we were seated quickly. Food was delicious, we had the Salmon Avocado Green Curry and the Salmon Fried Rice, along with a Spring Roll appetizer. It was all prepared very well, comparable to the best Thai restaurants we’ve been to throughout NorCal & SoCal. Would definitely come back here next time we’re on this part of the coast! Very accommodating for Vegan/Veg and Gluten Free folks!

This place doesn’t have the best Thai food, however, for this particular area, it’s probably one of the only options for Thai. With that, I will say that it’s good enough to satisfy your Thai food cravings. Not a fan of their Thai tea as the coconut milk just kind of overpowers it and makes the consistency a bit too thick. Their Tom yom soup was pretty tasty and had lots of veggies. I also liked their pad see ew. It wasn’t that oily like how most Thai places make it. Their sweet and sour chicken was definitely not what I expected it to be. I was imagining something fried, however, this place is definitely on the healthier side which is a good thing. Did not like the chicken dish too much as the meat was a bit dry and the overall dish a bit bland. Would not recommend this dish. Probably stick to the more known Thai dishes. The fried coconut banana dessert with coconut ice cream was delicious. Prices here aren’t bad especially for being in this area. I noticed most restaurant prices here tend to be a bit high, but our dinner was reasonably priced. Service was outstanding. Super friendly and extremely attentive staff with good recommendations. They’re also environmentally conscious which is a huge plus! Also décor inside is really interesting and cool.

Consistently great food at this location. I was so excited when we finally got Thai food in our area. The diversity of cuisine is limited. ABTK has a large menu with lots of vegetarian options, which we appreciate. Staff is always friendly and the service is efficient. We’ve enjoyed a variety of the curries and noodle dishes and the tom kha soup is one of my favorites.

We came at 8pm for dinner and they still seated us even though they close at 8:30pm. We were starving so we ordered the chicken satay, pad gra prow, and pad see ew. The chicken satay arrived first. It had 4 pieces with a side of peanut sauce. The chicken had lots of flavor especially with the peanut sauce although it tasted a bit tough. The pad see ew didn’t taste too sweet, unlike other Thai places that tend to over sweeten it. The pad gra prow tasted similar to the pad see ew, just without the noodles and added thai basil. It didn’t come with any rice so we ordered a side of rice. This place sells good, solid thai food that tasted authentic. If you’re in the area and crave Thai food, come check it out.

We have been fans of ABTK for a couple years. The couple who own it are really nice. The food is authentic Thai food in most respects, although we haven’t tried anything super spicy. We’ve eaten Thai food all over and traveled in Thailand. Our most recent visit included green curry(a benchmark of Thai cooking), panang curry with pork, spring rolls, and ice coffee. Everything was fabulous. Ingredients were fresh and abundant and the dishes were well balanced. Spring rolls were made to order and included warm chicken. A tremendous starter. This place is really your only choice for asian food in the immediate area, but what a fabulous choice it is! Gualala is blessed to have this place. We only wish they were open a little earlier(11:30?) for lunch.

This place has the best Thai food i have had ourside of Thailand. They have slow but customer friendly service. They take care to match your need for spicy food serving lightly spiced food but hotter food and extra hot sauces as requester. Awesomw desserts too.
