It’s close and is more of a local«go to» place. Unlike other reviews, the service there has always been attentive, for us anyway. The food we have ordered always comes out timely and tasty. The golf simulator is a very nice touch, especially in winter months

Wildwood pub is known for having the best atmosphere, food, and service in the Wildwood/Eureka area. We went there for the crab legs they had on special and we were blown away at how great they were! The place was jammed packed and we had excellent service with our needs, and our three kids needs, constantly being met by our waitress and the General Manager who was readily visible and on top of everything. I would highly recommend Wildwood Pub before going to the chain food of the other local restaurant near by. This is our favorite place!

This is one of my family’s favorite places to go! It’s nearby and they are always very accommodating and friendly. The food is great and really not that expensive. There is a lot of variety on the menu and portion sizes are large. My personal favorite is the appetizer platter which I usually get as a meal. The place has cute décor and service is great!

We had a group of 6 adults and 7 kids. We were seated in the bar area. Even though all 7 kids were quiet and well behaved, we were seated in the back room because of complaints. After we ordered our food. 2 hours later we received our food and the kids were restless at this point. If we were served our food in a timely matter, where we were seated originally(and never told kids weren’t allowed in the area), we would’ve eaten and left and the kids would’ve been as behaved as they were when we arrived. We will not patron this place again. «Family friendly» is just a saying here.

Nice atmosphere for people that want to come in and just eat. Foods pretty good. There is also a separate side that has a bar that you could eat at and do your«drinking» thing at & party up.

Food was great and staff other than bartender friendly. We had people visiting from out of town and stated the best tacos they have ever had. Their seemed to be some confusion as there are only two tables and staff kept bringing is the wrong food. Also a waiter should remember who ordered what not ask who had the tacos.

We’ve been Wildwood residents for the last couple of years. The Wildwood Pub and Grill has always been convenient, but not great. The restaurant has gone WAY downhill, however, and we will not be back. We arrived and ordered beer and nachos. I ordered a Blue Moon, which was on draft. The inattentive server brought me a bottle of an IPA and no glass. I was lucky in that I actually got something, I guess, even though it was incorrect. My husband ordered a beer and had to wait 40 minutes before he received it. Remember, we ordered beer and NACHOS. Wildwood Pub and Grill makes their nachos with that liquid cheese you get at concession stands. Not hard to make! We requested to speak to the manager and she made excuses about how the server was new and it was busy. Seriously, if you have a new server and its busy it is YOURJOB as a manager to make sure that your guests don’t have to wait an hour to receive their complete order of beer and nachos. We had gone 40 minutes between the time my husband ordered his drink before we got the manager and our server did not check in at our table the entire time. Here’s the kicker. A while after we found the manager — probably about 60 minutes into our ordeal — our original waiter came back out and said«Did you order the pulled pork nachos?» No. No we did not order the pulled pork nachos. We ordered the regular old beef nachos. You know it’s a bad sign when you placed your order — FORNACHOS — an HOUR before and the server STILL isn’t sure what you ordered. (I want to note that we’re pretty low-maintenance people — in our 40 years on this planet we’ve only tracked down a restaurant manager one other time). During this time my kids were super hungry and bored as well. They entertained themselves by picking at the gummy scum that covered Wildwood Pub and Grill’s tables. Seriously, when I tried to move my napkin it STUCK to the table. I will post a picture later. If they let their tables get like this, what does the kitchen look like? A previous guest had scratched a tic tac toe board into the residue. It was still there when we sat down. The manager only comped our drinks and that was it. She did not accept responsibility for dropping the ball. When we did receive our nachos, the server did not bring us any plates. No wonder the table was so fantastically GROSS. We had to request plates. One of our kids ordered chicken rings with fries and they came out without the fries. They brought our the fries about 10 minutes later. Wildwood Pub and Grill is relatively expensive. Expect a sandwich or burger to set you back $ 10 or $ 11 at least. We will not be back.

Great service… we usually sit in the bar area, and the waitress are always fast to greet us, take our orders, and deliver our food, all with upbeat, friendly attitudes. The food has always been good. I’ve sampled pretty much everything on the menu, and have been happy with everything I’ve ordered. The salads are always fresh, crisp and satisfying, the potato soup will warm you up during the cold winter months, the burgers are always cooked perfectly(coming from my burger expert son), the smoked meats always tender, juicy and flavorful, and the pizza is perfect every time. I’m withholding a star for the lack of atmosphere in the main dining area. While great for family with younger children, the space lacks warmth and coziness. The bar is a great place for a quick family(teenage children) dinner, or a nice hangout for friends to get together for a couple of drinks, although I would stay clear of the tables near the windows as it can be pretty loud over in that area. I’ve even attended a birthday party in one of their private spaces, and was impressed with the quality of food, and the speedy service we received from the wait staff. Great neighborhood pub!

Loved the Monday pizza deal, but now you are required to buy a drink on order for the deal to qualify. THAT’S CRAZY!!! Its not even worth it unless you were planning to get a drink anyway, any way I’ll be going the local Mexican restaurant for $ 1 taco Monday from now on.

Super disappointing experience at Wildwood Pub tonight. First they call themselves a pub but have no specialty beer or mixed drinks. Not the end of the world, but disappointing none the less. Then comes the experience of ordering. First person orders a prime rib sandwich and salad. Waitress later returns that they are out of prime rib. Would she rather have soup instead? No. Then she returns once again that they miraculously found some in the kitchen and can make her sandwich after all. 3 of our table of 8 order filet mignon(the most expensive item on the menu), just to find out they are of course out of filets. I then make a major down grade to a crispy chicken salad. Placed my order for her to return and say they are out of chicken strips, would I prefer grilled chicken? Downgraded yet again to a grilled chicken wrap which was mediocre – or maybe it just didn’t hit the spot because it was the 3rd thing I ordered. No one wants the 3rd choice of men/women at the bar, how do you expect to have big eyes for the 3rd choice of entrée? Another party’s burger was solely a dry piece of ground beef on white bread. No lettuce/tomato, no condiments. Another ordered a steak and chicken salad that arrived sans chicken. Waitress stated«I went and asked the chef why there was no chicken and he said he didn’t believe me when I placed your order.» Never once did the waitress ask if we wanted another drink – we couldn’t even drown out our sorrows. Environment was nice but that’s all I have to say.

Stopped in on Sunday for a couple of drinks and appetizers, the toasted ravioli was great. The sweet potato fries were served with cinnamon and sugar(not my cup of tea) but the staff was very helpful and was able to get another order out minus the cinnamon. Great beer selection and service, would definitely go back.

Patio outside with music speakers. Live music on Thursdays. Happy hour 3 – 6, M-F. Very good pizza. Good burgers. Reasonable beer selection. Better than average wine glasses. Golf simulator. It’s very popular especially in the winter. Try the Badabing sandwich. Nice place.

I’m stuck between 3 and 4 stars for this place. I really liked the pizza but had some difficulties with the service and the environment. About the pizza — wife and I split the bacon cheeseburger pizza. Good crust, nicely chewy and slightly salty. Toppings were delicious and very closely approximated the flavor of a bacon cheeseburger. About the service — indifferent is probably the best description. We had to send another waitress to find our waitress at least three times. She presented the check without asking if we wanted dessert and didn’t know the prices of the various deserts when I asked as they weren’t published on the menu. About the environment — we went during the end of the 2014 polar vortex. The temperature in the dining room was highly variable and took away from the overall experience. Given all of this, why the deliberation between 3 and 4 stars? Mainly because the check arrived and the cost of our meal was significantly under $ 20, even with tip. A pretty good meal for so little has to be worth putting up with some(but not all) of the issues we experienced. We’ll be back…

Found this gem of a place when looking for a new(to us) place to try in Wildwood that was not in the WW town center. Tried the bacon cheeseburger pizza with the thick crust. Really enjoyed the pizza — it had plenty of ground beef and bacon that were well seasoned and distinguishable. The onions were a nice addition to the flavor. I am usually a thin crust kind of girl, but I really enjoyed the crust on this pizza. It was just the right combination of chewy and salty, and had some cheese sprinkled on the edge. We found ourselves jockeying for the pieces with the most crust, which is unusual. The service was not the best, but it was during the frozen tundra so I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this one and not let it keep me from returning. The server had no knowledge of dessert, including the prices of the desserts which were not on the menu(?!). So we skipped dessert. The pizza was good enough and such a good value($ 12) that I gave them 4 stars, despite the service. We will be back, with the kids.

This is one of my favorite places to go in the winter, or on a crappy summer day. The reason you ask? PGA Golf Simulators!!! I am an avid golfer, and love the fact that when nature doesn’t allow me to be comfortable outside, I can play inside on a variety of famous courses. It is a tiny bit expensive, but if you can score a groupon then it becomes amazingly cheap. They have a good beer selection, and their food is all pretty darn good. I like their pizza’s quite a bit. I am wanting to try to get like a once a month or maybe once every 2 – 3 week indoor golf league here in the winter together. I think that would be a hoot!

Food and service was excellent. My wife had the sirloin with sweet potato fries and it hit the spot. I had the Brickhouse chicken and it was decent. We plan to come back in the future.

Wow that is alot of scotch… and wait I can tee off in back? Really!?! I don;t know how a fun spot pops up in th emiddle of Wildwood. and I dont know why people tote their clubs in to lay virtual golf when you have a course 3 miles away on a 70 degree day. but I digress. Food was delicious and service was super friendly :) I’d swing by more and make myself a regular but. well it is in Wildwood??’
