Pathetic. The steak salad offered no flavor and was no more than iceberg lettuce with two slices of tomato and cubed well done tough steak. Not worth the money paid

Burgers and pricing are both excellent! Kids meals left one kid still hungry and one with more sweet potato tater tots than he knew what to do with.

Great food and service. Good selection on menu. We brought our kids ages 5 and 11 and the atmosphere was good but not overly«kid friendly». Good for adults to enjoy as well as the kids. Lots of TV’s :) We loved our waitress Maggie! :) She helped me decide to go with the Baja wrap and I am so glad I did!

I was going to give three stars then my soup came out cold not luke warm– COLD twice. I ask the waitress how they keep the soup heated she says its microwaved. The $ 7.99 spinach artichoke dip was about 4oz of dip at most. Total rip off. It did taste good but Overpriced for what you get. Service was slow and servers were standing around talking while patrons needed things. I will say the tuna salad was decent altho i suspect it was prepackaged. I also found a possible meant to be onion ring(round uncut up onion) in my tuna salad. So maybe its not prepackaged. Ewww. Added pic of soup and onion. Changed to 3 star before i left because the manager kindly took my dinner off check. I must give them credit for that for trying make it right. I will also state the waffle fries are great. If you come here order them.

I needed somewhere I could sit and work for a 2 hour lunch. The Corner Pub and Grill sounded good. I was greeted promptly and given a table. My waitress new the specials and gave me the wifi password(which can be like pulling teeth at some places). To many choices sounded good, so I decided on the Monster Q wrap. The warp had pulled pork and coleslaw in it. There was a perfect amount of sauce, to many places try to cover up bad meat with sauce, not here. I had waffle fires on the side and they were a good choice, crispy outside and light inside. Overall I’d say this is a winner.

The food is always great. The service is even better! My mom has celiac disease and cannot eat anything containing– or that has even come in contact with– gluten. They have a great gluten free menu and are extremely kind and helpful with answering questions and accommodating her needs. This is the only place she has found so far that serves hot wings that she can eat! I’ve met the owner a couple of times and he is a great guy. We came here as a walk in for a large family dinner(25+ people) on a Friday night and understandably had a long wait. The owner personally brought us free appetizers and checked up with my mom twice. I’ve never left there disappointed.

Very close to my house, so I kept going back, hoping to find something good. Tried a variety of sandwiches, burgers, pizza. Nothing was very good and everything was overly salty.

This is about the 6th time I’ve been here and I’ve had consistently decent service. This time, I had only their fried pickles because they’re so unhealthy, I didn’t want to make things worse with one more calorie. I love fried pickles and some places do them much better than others. I haven’t found a place that makes them better – including their horsey sauce(I won’t order them if they don’t come without it). And their horsey is fantastic. I like their high-back booths. This place is too busy to visit on the weekends, so I prefer the off times.

If you are looking for burgers and sandwiches you can’t really go wrong here. I am a fan of their bayou birdie, which is a blacken chicken sandwich with their amazing onion rings. The service is always good and the food yummy. Two thumbs up!

Mediocre at best. The burger was lacking any personality and the pretzel bread was greasy and disgusting. The service was also slow, even though there wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant. Five Guys has better burgers and fries and their service is better.

Great burgers, fries and spinach/artichoke dip. This was a nice little watering hole, I’ll most certainly be back. It’s in a nice area for shopping, makes for a good walk after eating.

Whoops, I had this review posted on the wrong location of The Corner Pub and Grill. O well, it’s fixed now… better late than never, right? After shopping for my wedding gown and checking out the new Lucky’s we were 3 hungry girls and spotted the Corner Pub & Grill to satiate our appetite. We came here around 1:30PM on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly busy! Our waiter was quick to get us some drinks and take our order. My Mom and soon-to-be mother-in-law(so many hyphens!!!) both opted for the special of the day: a smoked prime rib sandwich with a side of fries, while I went for a tomato mozzarella sandwich with a side of broccoli. I stole a bite of my Mom’s sandwich and it was delicious. Beefy, juicy, tender, and flavorful… the perfect combination. My fare was on the lighter side and really hit the spot. Tomatoes are in the peak of their season so they were juicy & flavorful while the cheese was mild & refreshing. I won’t be rushing back to Corner because it doesn’t offer anything super unique, but I wouldn’t mind returning if I was in the area and hungry.

This place is mediocre. I went here with my boyfriend for a very casual quick dinner. We were both craving a burger and thought this would be the perfect spot to satisfy the craving. The food is average at best. This was disappointing for me because it has the same owners as the Tavern, which happens to be one of my favorite spots in STL. I got a bacon cheeseburger with waffle fries. The bun was very soft, however I wished they toasted them. The burger itself was overcooked and the bacon was greasy and not very flavorful. The waffle fries looked amazing, but they fell short. They came out room temperature and soggy. Lastly, this place is just over priced. 2 beers and 2 burgers should not equal $ 40. They really should step up the quality of the food. The flavors are there for this place to be good. However, the little things like soggy fries and a mushy bun are what keep this place from a 5 star review.

I ate here a tad ago and found it quite good. The atmosphere is like that of your usual sports-loving resturant, but it has a friendly atmosphere and isn’t intimidating if you lack a fondness for the athletics. I was pleased with the speed my food came out and found it quite tasty too – although the surprisingly small portion of appetizer potato skins I was given did make me a tad sad. I know it’s an appetizer, but you don’t have to skimp on those tasty skins! My entrée was a chicken-item and very good, and the server was attentive in getting me extra napkins when I requested them as my main meal came. Overall a nice place and a good experience!

This one of the most boring«busy» restaurants around. Par food, good waitress and waiters. None of the food has ever been bad when I have visited, but I always get something different because nothing has been good enough to get again except the waffle fries! It is going to be VERY interesting when the Walnut Grill opens up in the old Chevy’s spot… Corner Bar does well when there is very little competition like the one in Valley Park.

The Corner Pub and Grill is my parents’ favorite place to go for an easy night put, and it’s easy to understand why. They have plenty of great beers on draft and a solid menu of traditional pub fair. Nothing fancy or overly remarkable, but filling and at decent prices. The Corner Pub is a great place to watch a game or relax with friends, with good food and lots of beer, how could one go wrong?

Nice patio with a extensive food menu. Beer selection is great. Service is pleasant and food is generally good. Pulled pork nachos is a gluttonous treat. You can’t eat these with any regular frequency if you want to live past 50… but they are tasty!

I met my college chum for dinner. The dining room was fairly empty, and there was one server for the whole area. We both opted for a «take two» meal: she got the loaded potato soup(cup) and a small Caesar salad. I got the small house salad(bleu cheese dressing) and the cold roast beef sandwich with lettuce and tomato, and a pickle spear. Her soup looked great. Both salads were A-OK, but pretty small(maybe that’s because of the take two). And mine was served on the same plate as the sandwich — something of which I am not fond. Had there been less roast beef on my sandwich, it would have been a bread sandwich. It tasted good, but there just wasn’t enough meat on it for my taste. I kinda think we didn’t get the most exciting food on the menu. And I don’t understand how the Corner Sliders are $ 7.99 in the appetizer section and $ 8.99 in the burger section when they’re described exactly the same: 3 «Black Angus» mini burgers seared with grilled onions and cheddar cheese. The pickle spear was divine!
