We started with chips and salsa. Chips good but the salsa bad. Maybe some jalapeño and a little salt would help. Not sure why the last person recommend it I had the carne Asada burrito. Not at all what I expected. It was loaded with beans and rice(filler). Blah. And not much meat or at least all u taste is beans. The meat lacked spice and flavor Hopefully the other food is good. Food 2 out of 5 stars Service 3 out of 5 Ambiance 4 out 5 because they r 49ers fans Overall 3 stars

Wish I could rate lower than one star. Angie and her dauther are amazing wonderful people but Rudy is Rude as hell. Honestly I worked there for a month. Right before Rudy was coming back from his accident. The first week I started there, there were already dilemas. The bus boys/dish washers hadnt been paid in over two months. The one that was there the longest felt bad to push angie into getting his money but once rudy came back all hell broke lose. Everyone was mad. There were employees with their moms coming in saying that this will all go to social media and cops were being called. And innocent people werent getting paid! I had to go there 4 times to get 180 $. And they still owe me 40 $ but the last time I went they were shut down. THANKGOD, SOMEONEANSWEREDMYPRAYER. at least some justice was served. Rudy is a p.o.s.

I want to start this off by saying I intend this to be constructive criticism… Not trying to slam the restaurant. I’ve been frequenting this place for many years… And tended to choose this when I am in the area. The last time I was here was approx 3 months since the time before that… And the restaurant has completely changed… To the point I wondered if it changed hands. Gone were the crowds of sports fans… Or any other patrons for that matter. I ordered my usual… 3 shredded chicken tacos. Drinks were flat, salsa didn’t seem to be even remotely close to what I remember from previous trips… And the tacos appear to have been incinerated in the fryer… Leaving a shell and what was like burnt chicken jerky or something. In addition to this… The restaurant itself seems to kinda be falling to shambles… Was dirtier than I ever remember.(Shoes sticking to the carpet) Rudy and Angie’s… Lose the carpet… And bring back original recipes. I’m sure you’ll be plenty successful again.

Ok where do I start for one the chips were stale, I ordered a Torta which was made by the waiter poor kid didn’t know how it was suppose to be made. Cold meat, lettuce, onion and mayo nothing else. The pozale was the best I ever had though. My husband had fish tacos that were suppose to be halibut, they were minced fish sticks gag. Pass this place up for sure

Fast, friendly, and delicious! For dinner we had chicken fajitas, fried chicken, tacos, and French toast. Breakfast served all day. Something for everyone.

A great restaurant and a good atmosphere. Rudy and Angie both really add to the charm of this place. The food is always delicious, their carne asada has great flavor. So do their rice and beans, truly authentic Mexican. Also ordered a few drinks this time around, the were mixed well and were reasonably priced. I’ve been coming here with my family for years and I’ve never been disappointed.

Perfect«recovery» breakfast on a Sunday morning! As always, the Robert’s Nacho Omelet was amazing!!! I tried it with chicken this time… Almost as good as with beef. My sides, extra crispy hash browns and biscuits & gravy were good also. My wife tried the breakfast quesadilla, with bacon, avocado, and mushrooms. It was quite tasty… Yet not as good as the breakfast burrito. One kid had the French Toast… He can never get enough! The other had pancakes which he completely grubbed down. The service was friendly as always! Something about having the owner great and serve you adds to the«family friend» feel of this restaurant… We will be back again soon!

If you’re deciding on a sit down Mexican place in the 5 Cities, this is still probably your best bet. I was excited to try R&A again after their brief closure, but I’m not seeing too much of a difference in the food. It’s still fine for a family style Mexican restaurant. The green spicy salsa that came with the chips seems spicier than before, so that was definitely a plus! Unfortunately, my serving of rice and beans with my dinner combo seemed smaller than before, but I did not have my phone to take a picture with. The bus boy was especially friendly as well. It’s certainly an a-ok restaurant, but I think the enchilada sauce can be improved to push the restaurant back up to 4 or 5 stars.

Ordered two taco salads and water. Sad to say but the water tasted like bubble gum. I told the server and his response was ok thank you. I wasn’t offered more water rather I had to hunt the server down for clean tap water. Food was plain but expected. Chips were out of a bag. This place really could be nice and have five stars however I do not believe they care. Place was neat and clean. I may not be back here for another 10 years. About the amount of time it takes to forget I was ever here.
