This is hands down the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. The batter is light and golden brown, but still big on flavor. The dipping sauce is amazing as well, as is are the fries and texas toast. I haven’t tried the coleslaw yet, but I’m sure it’s great too. I’ve driven 2 hours just to get Caine’s chicken strips before, so that should give you and idea of how amazing they are. Never pass one without stopping, that’s my advice.

Everything is made to order what more could you want. Awesome Texas Toast and Cain sauce which is to die for.

A tad bit overrated. Chicken tenders and a few sides are pretty much the only thing on the menu; which would be fine if the food was outstanding but unfortunately it’s not. Not to say that the food was bad, it just wasn’t anything to write home about. After all of the hype from family and friends, I was expecting so much more. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but if I’m in the area I wouldn’t mind stopping by.

My last couple of trips here have been disappointing. The chicken seems to be lower quality or something. It just wasn’t good. The texas toast is still amazing and the Cane’s sauce is really good, but that’s not enough to get me back in there.

I usually love, love, love Cane’s…so it pains me to write this review. But, they had a major customer experience fail today. Maybe, it’s the road trip drive thru in general that’s doomed to be a shit show, I dunno. Husband wanted to go to Rally ’ s — me and the kids actually out voted him, granting us a trip to one of our favs — Cane’s. We ordered food for all — extra sauces. Got to the window and asked for a honey mustard — they made us pay extra, ofcourse… that’s fine. We pay and pull up to let the folks behind us get at the window while we check the bag. Well, we didn’t have time to look before the patron behind us starts honking. Pressured, we pull back out and hit the road. …to find… that all the sauce we paid for wasn’t there(one sauce for a family of four to share — wtf)…to find… that all the food we ordered and paid for wasn’t there… .to find… there wasn’t a lick of ketchup. Fail.

Cane’s does chicken, and they do awesomely! That’s all you’re going to find here. Chicken fingers(or chicken fingers on a sandwhich), fries, coleslaw, and the best garlic texas toast you’ll ever eat. And of course their own signature sauce. This location isn’t the biggest, and the tables are kind of crammed in together but it gets the job done. The food has always been excellent, the staff has been nice, sometimes awesome sometimes just nice, and the bathroom is always clean. Parking lot tip: Go through to the parking lot in the back and turn left on the side road to get back on Stringtown to head towards the highway. There’s a light and it’s way easier/safer

Every single time I make the drive from Cincinnati to Cleveland and back again, Raising Cane’s is always part of the trip. That alone says how delicious it is. I always get the 3 piece chicken box, which comes with a piece of Texas toast, fries, a drink, and a cup of dipping sauce. First, the chicken is perfectly fried and greasy without being too greasy, if you know what I mean. The Texas toast is crispy and buttery on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. And then there’s the sauce. This sauce haunts my dreams. I have no idea what it actually is but it tastes like ketchup/ranch/mayo with pepper and tons of other seasonings. I have no idea, but you can buy it by the gallon I think which goes to show how popular their sauce is. Yes, the prices are a bit high for drive-through fast food but if you are ever cruising by Columbus stop by and try their sauce!(and chicken and other stuff).

This was my first time here and what an experience! Food was delicious– the breading of the chicken is perfect, not too crispy but not soft either. Also, LOVE the sauce . Not sure how to describe it, other than amazing! I think it is reasonable pricing too– The only complaint I have was the people at the counter were quite noisy. They were talking very loudly and just kind of annoying. Seemed to enjoy their job though which is always a plus! Def will go back– wonderful chicken!

I was passing through on my travel from Pitts, PA to Louisville, KY… At exit 100 on I 71… I grew up eating canes on their 1st ever location on highland rd in Baton Rouge, LA… They sure have gone a long way since then. Image has change, logo cups, boxes, food tray mat the whole nine yards. Food wise in this location is a bit different, i think its not as crunchy, but the chicken are still very juice on the inside. Texas toast, i like mine a bit more greasy… But thats just me. Good luck canes…

Raising Cane’s is great. Their food is so good along with their secret sauce. I highly recommend. Even though there isn’t many options on their menu, the few choices are good.

Canes is a pretty straight-forward kind of place. They keep things simple, and I like that. Their chicken fingers are very good, and the sauce is even better! Thats all they really serve, so it better be good! Definitely get extra bread rather than cole slaw. Not that the cole slaw isnt good, but the bread is fantastic! Be sure to ask them to toast and butter both sides of your bread, they will happily accommodate. The employees are always friendly and seem very willing to serve. Twice my order has taken a bit longer than expected and both times I have received a voucher for a free meal… and I didn’t ask for it. ONELOVE!

There’s a lot to love about Raising Canes. The chicken is some of the best fast food chicken you’ll wet eat, beating out KFC hands down. Their Texas toast is some of the best I’ve ever had — sorry Mom. My only complaints are that considering you can only order chicken, you should be able to customize more with different flavors(besides an expensive tailgate package), or sizes. I would’ve liked to have ordered 10 – 12 chicken fingers with nothing else, for $ 12 or so… instead I had to order two orders of the 8 pc combo and get fries, Texas toast, coleslaw and dip as well. The other thing is the prices seemed a tad high for what it was. It is fast food after all.

First of all, I will say that this particular location has wonderful customer service. This is first Cane’s I ever went to back in the day. Ordering here isn’t quite like typical fast-food joints. You order one of four basic combo meals(or kids meals) and then you sit down until your food is ready. They ask for your name while you are ordering and then ‘yell’ it when the food is ready. I wasn’t sure how to order, and even though a new worker was being trained at the cash register, they were friendly and very helpful. The food took a little under 10 minutes to get. My boyfriend and I went there right as it opened, so that may have been a part of the problem, but it wasn’t a huge issue. The portion sizes are huge. I got the three piece chicken tenders combo, which comes with the special sauce, crinkle fries and Texas Toast. The chicken was ridiculously tender and lightly breaded. It was fantastic quality for a fast-food place. The sauce is what most people seem to love about Cane’s — to me, it taste like a mild southwest ranch. Although I have no idea what’s in it, there seems to be mayo, ketchup, garlic powder, and maybe a bit of Worcestershire sauce? Either way, it’s delicious to dip your fries and chicken tenders in. However, the gem of Cane’s is, surprisingly, their Texas Toast. Shut the front door. This stuff is delicious! I am not a huge fan of bread — I don’t eat it in my home, if it’s on the table of a restaurant, I leave it alone, and if I order a sub or a sandwich, I usually only use half of the bun, but I found myself wanting to go up to the register and order 100 slices. The golden brown deliciousness melts in your mouth. If you order nothing else, do NOT deprive yourself of this bread. The only reason why this is getting four stars is because I always feel a little queasy after eating at this specific Cane’s. Perhaps it’s the food, or maybe I’m slightly intolerant to something they use, but I’m giving it four stars to be on the safe side.

We have stopped at this location several times on our travels via I-71. The chicken fingers are great; a little greasy, but hot and fresh. The crinkle cut fries are a nice change from typical fries. The Texas toast is good, but I am not sure the extra carbs are really necessary. The employees are always friendly and polite and the bathrooms are clean. We did notice the strange ceiling noise that was mentioned in another review, but maybe we were listening for it. Overall, a good spot for a quick meal while traveling.

For a chicken place that only serves chicken fingers not bad. The service was really good. The food fresh and surprisingly good for fast food. The place was very clean. This would be the place i would go to get party trays. Next time you are in the Columbus area stop give it a try.

Want the best chicken fingers you’ve ever had in your life? go to raisin canes! It’s all they do, and they do it the best. This location had friendly on-top-of-it staff. But any location sells the good stuff.

The chicken strips is actually real chicken very surprised and pleased about that, it’s also very generously portioned so very much worth the money far as I am concerned, their special sauce well it was not that special at all it consisted of mayo/ketchup/black pepper though I have to admit that it did taste pretty alright just not spectacular as they would have you believe, I give it five stars just for being real meat even though it was not organic :(
