Do not use. They will try to tell you that an expensive repair is needed. Their two technicians came out on different days and each had a different diagnosis. I had two other companies tell me no repair was needed. American Air promised a refund for the valve they ordered but two months later still no refund. Beware!!!

I’ve used these guys for years. They have replaced an AC unit, installed a Breathe Right filter system and a humidifier. I’ve always had professional techs. I used to live in Grove City so that’s how I got started with them and continued to utilize them when I moved to Westerville. We usually would drive down because you’d get five bucks per filter off but we just learned today that discount no longer exists so we won’t be doing that anymore we will just let the technician bring them with him from now on.

I had a new furnace installed by American Air in 2012. It has a ten year warranty on parts. Two and a half years later it had a simple part that(only costs $ 18) fail, so the part is under warranty but they wanted $ 358 labor to install it. The part was a flame sensor that is easily accessable. One screw hold it in place. It took me less than 5 minutes to replace it. They still charged me $ 99 to diagnose the problem even though it was under warranty. This companys practice is exactly why the service industry is not trusted and destroys the publics trust.

I had a technician come out to a rental property I manage and the only thing he cared about was getting paid. He was very rude to my tenant the first thing he said to her was«who is paying me». Then all he did was walk in, take a quick look at the furnace, and tell my tenant and I that I need to buy a new furnace. He was in the unit for less than five minutes and I was charged a $ 99 service fee. To top it off I decided to get a second opinion from another company and they found that the furnace had a simple electrical problem. I got an electrician to come out and he fixed the problem in about 30 minutes.
