Bottom line… If you have a German car… Don’t go to Woody’s, EVEN for something as basic as an oil change.
I saw the sign advertising $ 20 oil changes, it was local and I was looking some place close to home. Big mistake, I should have known better. I called for a quote for an Audi. I was quoted the $ 20 and told the owner that my car took synthetic oil and that was too cheap. He got back to me and asked me to bring the oil in to his garage and they would change it. The service cost $ 30.
That was last winter (January 2015). The wrong filter was installed with that oil change. The day after the oil change, fresh oil was on my garage floor. I took the car to my regular mechanic and was told by my Audi mechanic that the car was down two quarts of oil. An incorrect filter had been installed with an improper seal.
Later that week, I stopped by Woody’s to relay this information to the owner. He became indignant when I suggested that his shop should not work on Audis. I had specifically asked if the mechanics were familiar with Audis and had been told YES. The owner blamed the book that he had referred to and refused to talk to me any further. He was clearly annoyed that I suggested that in the future, when asked, ‘if his business works on Audis, that he should just say, NO.‘
On a side note, I asked the mechanic if he could check my air filter and he was not familiar with where it was located.
That old saying… YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR… is true.

I have used the U-​Haul rental service from this location at least five times; they are great! The owner and his staff have always been really friendly and helpful. They don’t try to upsell you on vehicle size or anything you don’t need.

I’ve rented Uhaul’s from this station or helped someone who rented from here so many times– probably 10 – 15 times. They are a top notch staff and I don’t think I ever had an issue. The trucks themselves we’re ok. They are one of only a couple truck rental places in a 5 mile radius, so they get most of the traffic. Also located on a busy corner near the Sub Base, so that helps as well. I’m guessing half or more of their business is Navy related movers. They have great ratings on Uhauls site with over 100 reviews, so that is a testament to their popularity and customer base.

Overfilled my A/​C to the point that I would get a horrible noise when turning it on. Steve then told me that it would be 800 $ to fix the A/​C compressor. Released pressure from the system at home and refilled with a cheap do-​it-​yourself kit. It worked perfect. A/​C was fine.
Update: manager has reached out to make this right. Rating improved for that alone.
