Best Buy Gresham

My husband and I are regular customers at best buy in gresham. Five months ago we bought our daughter a cell phone from best buy. Today my daughter and I went to best buy in Gresham to ask for advise since the phone had been acting up. We were helped by a very surly girl at the cell phone desk. She had the worst attitude and customer service I had ever experienced. We were literally ‘chased’ out of that store in three minutes flat!
On the upside, my husband and I had been there many times and had always had courteous service. How ever this experience was so bad I wish I had her name so I could write in to best buy.

I honestly don’t know what best buy does anymore. I think it was video games and movies a couple of years ago, now the video game section is a confusing wreck. it’s really hit and miss, like a poorly stocked Game stop. Pro tip for any Senior citizens, you can still buy CD’s there, like actual cds for like 18 dollars like it’s 1998! Crazy!
I tried to buy a tv there recently. It went like this «Hey, Do you have any 4k tv’s that do passive 3D?» Best buy guy «3D is a fad, we have 4k tv’s now «Me, «Yes, I would like a 4k passive 3D tv so that I can watch my 3d movies and play my 3D games» Best buy guy «3D is a gimmick, and what is passive 3D? 4K tv’s are the thing now».
I found a really nice 4k passive 3d tv the same day at a different store. But I was very surprised at how little the TV salesmen at best buy actually new about tvs. One of them said I should get 4K if I’m using a next gen game console. I explained that Xbox one and PS4 don’t do 4k, they are only putting out 1080. The salesmen looked confused. The moral of the story is, salesman at best buy are pretty much worthless from my experience. But they will price match amazon, so if you can’t wait for prime, check to see if they have your item in stock and pick it up at the amazon price.

Just got my new big screen here and the saleman Dave was great! Gave me his undivided attention and made sure I had everything I needed!

I always hear people talk about BB’s terrible customer service but I’ve spent thousands of dollars with this store in the last decade and I’ve never had a bad experience and they usually go above and beyond. For example, I bought a tv from them and I was having problems with the remote. They told me to bring it in and they would look at it. They fixed it right there and it’s been working for years.
I will definitely shop with them again.
