La Hacienda

Beer and liquor on the menu but they don’t serve any alcohol here. I assume they use the same menus between both restaurants but this one doesn’t carry a liquor license. The chips and salsa are about as good as you can get! I ordered the pork fajitas and by far one of the best pork dishes I’ve had from a Mexican restaurant in some time. Very juicy and huge portions. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere.

Visited this location Thursday night. It was busy as usual. The server was very friendly but not very attentive. I was with a party of 6 and they sat us in a very high traffic area for the servers which made it pretty noisy. The chips were stale, my iced water tasted funky, my margarita was watered down with a total of 5 ice cubes in it and my taco salad was super greasy. La Hacienda is on a steady decline which makes me sad.

Not your typical Mexican restaurant. Gourmet taste at great prices. Have tried various dishes and all excellent. Sides and salads are really good.

I love this location, but we had an awful experience last night. Ernesto was the WORST and most RUDE server I have ever met. He had no time for us, and would walk away before letting us finishing asking for cheese dip, sour cream, etc… and then got an attitude when we had ask again since he walked away and didn’t hear us the first time and sarcastically asked anything else you need? He then told my fiancé that they can’t do a chimichanga with ground beef… we come here numerous times and what does he get… a chimichanga with ground beef. When my fiancé looked at him funny cause he had to figure out something else to get, Ernesto got super defensive and was like I don’t make the rules, I can’t cook it for you… etc. another server refilled our drinks all night and got us more salsa when Ernesto saw we had 0 salsa (1 small bowl for 3 people) after he brought us chips… I really hope a manager sees this cause this guy is a piece of work and I will specifically request not to have him next time we go back.

I have probably eaten here 200 times. I love their cheese dip and salsa. Salsa is on the table the second you sit down or within 30 seconds. Food is usually on the table with in 4 minutes of ordering. Delicious food. Good staff. Reasonable prices.

This is the «other» La Hacienda people talk about in Greenwood.
The «Other» La Hacienda is a cougar watering hole and a place that charges three dollars for a side of sour cream. When you protest their outrageous bullshit, you are met with a pair of rolling eyes and a very audible sigh from the cashier.
They have a pretty good atmosphere, it reminds me of a spanish speaking country I visited years ago. But that and their average food doesn’t make up for the wallet-​rape and the staff that apparently must undergo a lobotomy as a pre-​requisite for employment.
