I had a good experience here. Hubby and I just needed a place to sleep and this worked fine. It was nothing fancy but it definitely wasn’t shoddy. Everything was clean, they had a decent breakfast bar, and customer service was excellent. Their amenities section was the tiniest I’ve seen but hey they had one. I actually want to try one of the dinners they had in the freezer display (though I will buy it at Kroger as I’m sure it’ll be cheaper there).
What I remember of breakfast is that it had bacon, pancakes you could make, pre-made waffles, juices, egg omelets, biscuits and gravy, and a few other things. Nothing grand but it did the job!

I like to walk, but this town isn’t walker friendly… no sidewalks. And nothing is in walking distance of the hotel. I stayed here more than a few days and a bit of a weird bad smell coming from the a/c. When I got home, the smell from the a/c was all over everything. The people working here and locals all very, very nice!

I have stayed in this hotel 3 – 4 times each summer for the past three years. It is on the outskirts on town; however, there is a McDonalds and Dollar General a four minute walk from the hotel. You can also have pizza delivered.
Rooms are clean, the front desk is friendly and there is free Internet.
The complementary free breakfast is very good and offers both hot and cold items.

Located on the outskirts of Greenwood, MS, this Holiday Inn is not really at the center of anything. Immediately adjacent is another hotel chain and to get anywhere you have to cross a highway, so it’s not really walking distance to much. But if you’re just looking for a place to rest that clean and quite, you could do much worse than this Holiday Inn.
Free breakfast in the morning. Free water bottles for members of their rewards program. Also, free internet.
