DISGUSTING!!! My sisters and very ill father stayed here for my father’s surgery. They were bitten in their sleep by BED BUGS! I saw pictures of them and their egg shells all under the mattress. My sisters waited almost 2 hours for the manager to show up and all she said was it wasn’t her problem… Excuse me b***h!!! How is this our problem now? We don’t have an extra $ 6,000 to get our house bombed for an infestation we had no control over. I am beyond furious that my family received such horrible service. I’m not done with these people. Might I add that once confronted the manager stated she’s «a bug-​a-​phobe,» and refused to even go in the room. But it wasn’t her problem that my father, nephew and sisters were being chomped on all night and may potentially bring these pests back to their home. I haven’t even gotten started yet. The bed bugs may not have been their problem, but I certainly have no problem filling in that position! My family will be taken care of! DIRT BAGS!!!

Dirty floors, over-​deodorized room, small pillows, ratty towels, uncomfortably worn bed. The service is nice and the fitness center has newer equipment but this place is beat up…

Way too expensive for what you get, although I should have expected a higher cost being a walk in, but $ 159 a night? The breakfast was OK, but please supply a better quality paper plate to hold the food. The towels are skimpy, and we found mud (at least I hope it was mud) on the comforter, when we removed the decorative throw at the end of the bed. The front desk manager was terrific, however, with a great personality despite working long hours, and having to come in the next day for a no show. Won’t be back.

Perfectly decent. Clean. Reasonably comfortable bed. Easy and courteous check-​in. Major points for actually having glass water glasses in the rooms, a disappearing feature across most mid-​range hotels. This was my first stay in a Wingate, and was just for a quick overnight on a business trip while in transit. The rate seemed a bit high for what I got, but in terms of convenience, comfort, safety, etc., I’d certainly stay here again. Apart from the rate being a bit high, no negatives. But, not big positives either apart from glass glasses, which has become one of my Holy Grails in hotel-​seeking.
