What a cute little bead/gift shop. We happened upon it while visiting from California for a wedding and we were so glad we popped in. The ladies are kind and welcoming and very helpful. We ended up hand picking the perfect beads to make a pair of tourmaline(my favorite!) earrings and a frog themed window hanger for my grandma who couldn’t make it out for the wedding. If you’re here for more than a weekend, they offer the usual beading classes as well as beginning silver smithing classes! I wish I were staying longer so I could attend the silver smithing class. We will definitely make it a point to visit again the next time we are staying in Greenville.

The ladies were so nice and helped this blundering fellow pick out some beads and wire to make a beautiful bracelet for my girlfriend. They will take care of you and make you feel like family!

This is a wonderful and very friendly bead store right on Main Street. The owner is nice and she has hired people for the store who are knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. I must say, the staff is great here. There is a huge selection of unique beads, charms, wires, and all kinds of jewelry hardware and other unique things. They also sell jewelry that’s already made — and they teach classes on how to make different things. There are tables in the store where you can sit and work on your jewelry. It’s really a store with a cool vibe — I think it might be my new favorite bead store. As for the prices, I would say they are average; some things expensive, some things not. Short of shopping for beads online or at a bead show that you have to pay to go to, the prices are really comparable to other places I have been. Check it out — it’s all good.

The Beaded Frog has a nice large selection of beads but they are quite expensive – you can do just as well shopping at Michaels. And one experience I had was not good – my dau and her friend who are autistic bought some beads there thinking that the price referred to a bunch of beads, not just one, so they ended up spending way more than they could afford. When they tried to return the beads(10 min later) they were told that the beads couldn’t be returned. My dau would’ve been embarrassed if I returned and reamed them out, so I refrained and wrote this review instead.

Located on Main Street, down a slightly discreet set of stairs is this colorful and quirky bead shop. You can go here and create your own jewelry, or go in and tell them what you want, and they will create it for you. I had my bridesmaids’ jewelry for my wedding made here. They offer workshops and also do birthday parties.
