First of all, the service/ambience is outstanding. Pleasant greeting and goodbye, friendly, efficient, and very funny waiter, and bussers who were continually refilling our drinks and removing dirty plates as warranted. I had an excellent Cobb’s Salad. It was kind of pricey at $ 16. The Cobb on the menu is about $ 12 but it doesn’t include the normal turkey and/or ham and/or chicken that makes a Cobb a Cobb. The additional $ 4 is to add that protein to the dish. I opted to add gyro instead. It is a large portion and was excellent. My wife added chicken to hers. It was juicy and immense. Everything on the salad was fresh including the bacon. The point about the bacon is important because a lot of places use bacon that may have been sitting on the grill all day. This bacon was freshly cooked. Our friends, who are from the area and come here often, had some kind of chicken souvlaki platter and said it was fine. The Cobb was served on a platter but it might have been easier to eat if served in a bowl. That plate was really crowded.

I was in the area fixing my car, so I decided to walk to Greenvale Townhouse to eat breakfast. Got seated and order some french toast and sausage which came out very good. It was around 23 mins or so, when the waitress decided to put the check on my table. Usually when the waitress puts the check on your table, before you even asked for the check, they want you to leave the restaurant. The restaurant wasn’t even crowded at all and there was a lot of empty tables. This doesn’t make me very happy at all. Rude service! I won’t be going back to Greenvale Townhouse.

Our family-at-large has an annual function here in the party room. Service is impeccable, portions are downright huge, the price for our family function is great although the general menu prices seem a bit high. The party room is more than sufficient for 40 – 50 people. The restaurant, as a whole, is clean, has comfortable seating, friendly service, and the food has always been spot on. We will return, and I highly recommend you try it out.

Owner is always, always, always up front to greet you… If something is not on the menu he will make it anyway… Very clean… Extremely nice to kids… It’s a nice comfortable atmosphere…

Hadn’t been to a diner in over 3 ½ years and haven’t missed much. The Vegetable Pasta Soup tasted like it came straight from the can. The Lox with Scrambled Eggs was over-cooked. The Home Fries were mediocre. In all fairness, what you order here is probably ‘hit or miss.’ This was a clear ‘miss.’

Nice diner, good food & service! We are there on a regular basis and enjoy this diner! Sometimes a lot of fries shows up on your plate; sometimes only a few; I guess it depends on the chef for that day. Otherwise, all is good!

Don’t order extra coleslaw. That’s an extra cost to your bill. Not what I expected on a diner such as this. The waiter didn’t even ask during our meal if we needed a refill to our drinks.

This was my first visit, and there is nothing like a great diner breakfast! This place did not disappoint, my breakfast of an American cheese omelet, home fries, bacon, toast and coffee was awesome! The service was fast and efficient, and the servers were very pleasant. I can’t wait to go back and try the pancakes!

Come here pretty regularly. Have yet to have a meal I didn’t enjoy. There burgers are good, love the teriyaki wrap, amazing silver dollar chocolate chip pancakes, great eggs, and amazing baked potatoes! Oh and cant forget about the amazing desserts too!

I find it difficult to review diners because there’s only so many ways you can describe your experience with an omelet. I had the Farmers Omelet with Zucchini, tomatoes, and cheese. It was average sized. I had a side of home fried and buttered toast. There’s a big parking lot in the back.

The food is fresh, but not well made. A cheeseburger is served with hot liquid cheese. Buffalo wings are over fried and very dry.

Waitress Denise couldn’t have been better. Attentive and genuinely nice. She recommended the chicken Slovaki platter and it was delicious. Would come back just for those two things alone. Only suggestion is to have some music in the restaurant to block out all the other tables conversations.

Have had breakfast here many, many times and was never disappointed. Usually get French toast and wife gets an omelet, both good. Their burger deluxe is good. At times service is spotty when they are busy but I keep going back.

Greenvale Townhouse used to be a solid bet for good diner food. I ate there a few weeks ago, and I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe. The burger was completely overdone, and tasteless. It was overpriced and the service wasn’t great, either. :(

Review is breakfast only. Eggs, sausages, generous home fries, hearty rye toast, coffee, and juice for $ 11, including tax and tip, for all-inclusive breakfast(pic uploaded). Booths, tables as well as counter service. Staff both greeted me and said goodbye upon leaving. Not very busy on a weekday morning, mid-August, for breakfast. Note: No Wi-Fi Would return.

The Townhouse should have at least 4 stars, if not 4.5. You have to consider the comps in the area, as part of the review calculus. I lived in Glen Head for a very long time, and this diner has been solid since the late 80’s. The Old Brookville Diner(turned Brookville Family Restaurant and then closed) was good until they changed the name. The Landmark is now AWFUL and the Scobee is closed, it seems. So, unless you feel like driving all the way down 107 to the Broadway Diner, which is also very solid, The Townhouse is very good choice for any meal. ANDTHEYARECHILDFRIENDLY without being all Upchuck E. Cheese’s. They even brought my 22 month old a little cup of water with a straw along with my water — without my asking, and immediately. And definitely try the challah french toast. But all their breakfast is very good. And the burgers are no slouches, but they are not a burger place, really. The Townhouse is a good, solid family diner where you can also go late night to satisfy the munchies with friends.

I give this place some credit, I went here because my friends and I needed to get dinner before a movie and Poco Loco and La Bottega were full. However, the service was lacking. The waitress we had was pretty dismissive. She came to bring food and drinks, and then vanished completely. Food is alright, its hardly Kane’s, but it hit the spot for my pancake craving.
