This Walmart is ok. I have been here a few times and it has a decent stock of items available. However, items on sale sometimes are not in stock, and while the customer service representatives are great, the wait to check out tends to be long. However this is typical of most of the Walmarts I have visited. I am not a big fan of them personally but they are a good place for a one stop shop or for purchasing gifts.

The fresh produce section has a good selection of produce at competitive prices including organic produce. The store is well laid out, but you may find that some areas have a lot of things out of place which is more due to customers rather than store employees not maintaining the store. The store also has a bank, McDonald’s, hair salon, nail salon, Tech support, pharmacy, photo center(although their printer was out of service on the most recent visit) There are some downsides too. The returns counter and the checkout counters almost always have a long wait.

If you go in knowing that there is minimal customer service, it’s not that bad of a store. As much as I dislike the concept of Wal-Mart, sometimes it a lifesaver in the wee hours. This store has a history of crime and muggings in the parking lot(even during the day) so stay alert and aware of what’s going on around you.

This is by far one of the worst Walmarts I have shopped at. Although this store is 10 minutes from my home, I will drive to the Walmart Marketplace for groceries or the Walmart Supercenter in High Point before coming to this one. It takes twice as long to get out of the store than it does to pick up the items I need. It is always crowded.

Probably one of the worst Walmart stores in North Carolina. There is always long lines of customers pretty much anytime I come here. If it wasn’t for the fact of this being the only 24 hour one in the area, I probably wouldn’t go. Their prices are also much higher than all other Walmarts in the area. When asked about why this is I am told Walmart stores do not compete with one another and no price matching from one Walmart to another is allowed. The employees here are very rude and do not offer any type of assistance unless you basically beg them for such a task. Nearly all of the self checkout registers have issues at one point or another whether that issue be its accepting cards only and no cash is accepted to having none open at all. This particular visit it was the case of 3 out of 4 self checkouts open. Out of the 3 working all accepted cards only and when I asked for the manager two associates denied me that by saying I would have to go to register 18 to have a manager called. I get to register 18 and wait for the associate to finish putting her gobacks away. She then so slowly walks over to this register. I ask for the manager she tells me «Oh you gon’ have to go down to the self checkout because I don’t have no walkie». I explained that I just came from the self checkouts and the lady told me to come to register 18. The associate gives me this look like I don’t know what to tell you… I then decide I’m done walking all the way across the store so I yell down across the front end and say«Ma’am, she said she ain’t got no walkie here can somebody please call the manager»? The associate at 18 then decides she is going to call for a manager from the phone at the register… Like really you couldn’t have picked the phone up and called in the first place instead of talking about you didn’t have a walkie. The manager comes over and just looks at me no greeting no how are you. I ask him why every time I come here the self checkout has an issue and is either closed or doing cards only. His response is «Oh I’ll let dayshift know». Thanks that’s what the last 2 managers said the last two times I brought this to their attention and here we go again. Come on Walmart you need to tighten up. Every time I come here we encounter nothing but issues and the worst customer service. On behalf of Greensboro welcome to Walmart on Wendover! Hopefully your experience is better although it probably won’t be we can still hope and dream right?

If this wasn’t one of the closest Walmarts I definitely wouldn’t go to it. The almost never have enough registers open and is always very crowded.

This Walmart is horrible from the parking lot to the store. I hate going to this location but at times it is necessary. If could level this store and start over I would.

It’s a typical Walmart. There was nothing overly bad to report. Long lines and few registers, but like I said typical Walmart.

New Unilocal listing – still sucks. If you can negotiate the store without getting scared, appalled, accosted, amazed, dumbfounded, or injured, consider yourself lucky. If the place has the stuff you need cheaply, the faster you can be in and out, the better. It’s nice that the company is going to be paying better wages to its employees, finally, but it remains to be seen if that will do anything to improve this store, which is still the worst place to shop in Greensboro.

This is a new listing for this Walmart. According to Unilocal, this place was«renovated. «Really? Not a damn thing is different. It is still over crowded, there are still no registers open, and it is still a miserable shopping experience. No, I am not surprised by this being everything that Walmart is. It’s Walmart. But don’t expect a new Unilocal listing to make things any different. SSDD!
