Reasons to come —
Way less crowded than Target
And way more quiet, no music playing over the speakers
(Have you noticed there’s something about Target that makes babies cry? I have.)
This Babies R Us is bright and open and easy to navigate (though they do have way more of a selection on their web site)
However…
I wouldn’t go there in a hurry, it’s terribly mismanaged. I’ve seen long lines with one person working a register in slow motion, while 3 others are hanging out chilling in the «registry» section, and another person slowly meandering with a notebook. The employees at this location are definitely not in a rush to help, and if you buy something heavy don’t expect someone to offer to help you carry it to the car.
Also those 15% coupons don’t apply to formula. I’d maybe get that at the grocery store or Wal Mart (though they do carry the extra large containers of formula, which is nice). Also Babies R Us doesn’t accept EBT for formula.
Every time I’ve gone I’ve just asked to apply the 15% off coupon, and whatever coupon I can remember getting in the mail that I’ve forgotten to bring when I got to the register, and they’ve been able to each time.

This has pretty much anything you need or ever want (or not want) for children and babies. Name it, they have it. Staff, particularly for registering are excellent. I have also had several cashiers find coupons to help get money off of items even when I wasn’t aware that they were available. I appreciate it that.
Being a specialty store, you may find that some items are more expensive than big box stores like Walmart, particularly on diapers. I would purchase items like this at those stores.

I’ve never been to a BRU before until this most recent trip. I honestly think that they live up to their name because, boy, that was a ton of baby stuff. I firmly believe they had any and everything that you could want or need for your baby.
When I walked in I saw at least 4 or 5 employees crowded around a register talking. I was there for one specific item and had no idea where to look. I walked passed it at least 3 times until I found what I was looking for. No one came to help me at all. I know that I had the deer in dead lights look because I was lost as all get out. If they would have saved their chatter until later and helped me out that would have been great.
The products were nice and of great quality.
