Total Wine & More

Absolutely love this Total Wine. The staff are so friendly and make excellent recommendations. They always have a nice selection to choose from and there always seems to be a tasting going on. I really like how they place recommendation stickers in each section, as recommended by their own employees. I found my favorite wine that way. It can get quite busy but the lines go really fast so don’t panic.

I can always get a great selection of wines from Total Wine. It is the standard I use to judge other wine shops. The personal are knowledgeable and friendly.

The staff is very informed and knows their wines. The recommendations tend to be excellent. This is a very good thing as the task of weeding out the great deals from the immense population is like finding edible mushrooms in a forest. It takes experience and knowledge.
The selection at this store is not the best I have ever seen but it is the best I have seen in North Carolina. If you cannot find a great wine here then you are not looking seriously.
I have found some wine here that I thought only a connoisseur from the California Napa Valley would know about. This fact alone was very impressive.

This place has a good selection of wines. Aisles and Aisles of wine to be more exact. This place also carries craft beer from all over the country and world. This place also has wine tastings and class offerings to gain more knowledge in beer and wine. Yet with all of the class offerings and wine tastings this place does not seem to have knowledge staff about their product. Every time I ask for a sweet wine they automatically point me to a rosso or moscato. I then say I want a sweet wine that is not a rosso or moscato and get a very blank face. I just wish the staff knew their product more.

Went to pick up a few bottles of wine, and some Pilsner Urquell. Took less than 5 minutes to pick out the items, over 10 minutes to check out. One cashier in the middle of the day, might not be the best customer service approach. Ten minutes behind a lady on a phone and a crying baby seemed much longer. Better choices may well be available.

When it comes to beer selection towards the West of Greensboro you would be hard pressed to find a more diverse selection than the one in Total Wine on Battleground. Known, not surprisingly, for their large selection of wines, Total Wine also is in possession of an impressive craft/​keg/​seasonal beer selection that should please many a beer snob including this one.
I have always found the employees at this location to be extremely knowledgeable about their spirits and extremely helpful in picking out wines/​beers for your own personal tastes. My finicky palate has been pleased time and time again by the products I’ve purchased from their based on, in part, my own dumb luck in selecting the bottles with the best artwork, and mostly the informed suggestions of the Total Wine crew.
With such a convenient location on this side town there’s no reason for any beer/​wine lover to give it a look and put the knowledge of their staff to the test. I am certain that you won’t be disappointed.
