The UPS Store

I needed a place that would notarize my will. Mine needed to be updated and required a notary.
I know no one personally that is a notary. Do yourself a favor and know someone who is. I tried several places (banks, etc.) that I knew had a notary and was told that, «We don’t do wills.» Great. I don’t know if there is a legal difference between wills and other documents, but no one, and I mean NO ONE, would notarize a will. I couldn’t get a clear explanation from these people either. Whatever. So if you are reading this, please enlighten me with your legal knowledge.
I was directed to a UPS store by all people I asked since UPS performs this service. Again, why here? But it needed to be done and they don’t care. I initially tried the UPS store in the Koury Center but they didn’t have one on hand at the time. I also learned that the location was closing altogether. Another place that directed me here.
This location is in the Adam’s Farm Shopping Center. They will charge you $ 5 per signature (if you need more than one person). Doh! But you gotta do what you gotta do.
The lady who did my notarization was quick and it took me longer to pay than anything. No issues here.
I can’t speak for the other services of the store. But if you need a will notarized, or anything, they do it.
