Tandoori Junction is one of the better Indian restaurants in the Triad. The chapli kabab is amazing — an absolute must try if you haven’t tried it. The goat curry is excellent too. All items on the lunch buffet tasted fresh and the naans are made fresh and served at your able. Service provided by Mr Iqbal and his family was very good — An absolute must try!

I arrived to try this place again and the lights were off inside. Don’t be fooled, it’s open. Two sections are closed off which I’m assuming is the lunch buffet area. The woman and man are the owners working the front here and they are timidly nice. The chicken samosas were fluffy, delicious and cooked very well. The thick meat and veggie mix was very tasty. For the entrée this time around I tried a non-sauce dish so I ordered the Chicken Tikka Boti. Based on the description I thought it would be sliced veggies mixed with the chicken, however the dish came with seasoned chicken and large slices of onions and some tomato on the side. The thick chicken cuts were cooked very well and the seasoning was a good spice but it was difficult trying to eat onions on the side. The dish doesn’t come with any rice or nan as I had to order those separately because eating just the chicken felt incomplete. The total price with the rice and overcooked nan was a little overpriced for the meal. Stick to the saucy dishes in this restaurant. The first time I came here I ordered the saucy and filling Butter Chicken which was slightly creamy with good flavor. I did order their garlic nan that time(which was not overcooked) because I love dipping the sauce it in it. An additional comment I have is that their spice rack which is rotated among guests is fine with me but at least change out the spoons to a new table. It’s pretty obvious with dried up drips on the spoons, they have been on the rack since this morning. It was pretty unappetizing.

It’s been about 5 months since our last visit to Tandoori Junction. We tried every item on the buffet. The food was fresh and flavorful. The buffet had a lot of regularly expected dishes but with some unexpected ones. Loved the butter chicken and egg masala. The naan was warm, and fluffy, just as we had on our last visit. Also tried the non-veg koftas(Indian style meatballs) which was very tasty. For dessert, we had sewai and halwa. Both were great. On the vegetarian side, the Chana and dal makhani was good as well. The service was good, friendly and prompt. They offered puri as well which was great. The owners are always there to provide a personal service.

Excellent food. The flavor of each dish had so many layers. I ordered tikka marsala and garlic naan. My husband ordered a traditional Pakistani beef stew(I can’t remember the name) it was epic!

Had lunch but ordered off the menu. Chicken tikka masala and lamb karahi were delicious. Spinach naan and roti great as well. Throw in terrific hospitality and service and this place is a real winner. You won’t be disappointed.

Had the lunch buffet and tried a little of everything offered, all of which was excellent. The goat curry and chicken curry were especially delicious. The quality of the ingredients was top notch. The naan was a bit crispier and thicker than I like, but was still tasty. I would like to see some raita available with the buffet. All told, this was a great value for just $ 8.99. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend Tandoori Junction to anyone looking for delicious Indian food in Greensboro/High Point.

A friend of mine could not stop talking about their lunch buffet. I’m usually not a huge fan of buffets, but this place is amazing! Everything is super fresh. They made us new naan just because we sat down. The chicken karahi is phenomenal. Everything I tried was perfectly seasoned. Some things had a kick but not burn your mouth off spicy and each item had such an amazing flavor profile. Definitely tasted more than just spice. I will be returning, and with friends! I would recommend for lunch or dinner.

We finally got around to trying dinner here from the regular menu, so we ordered a nice variety of items — most tried and true favorites, with an adventure or two thrown in to keep it fresh. Our choices included Lamb Rogan Josh($ 13.99), Nihari($ 13.99), ½ Tandoori Chicken($ 10.99), Shrimp Masala($ 13.99), Aloo Tikki($ 2.99), Vegetable Samosa($ 3.99 for 2 pieces), and 2 orders of Riata($ 3.98). Total order was for $ 63.92, and was a major disappointment, in almost every respect, but especially as to overall quality and portion size. The Rogan Josh, which is very much my favorite Indian dish & one that I cook quite often at home, was simply not a version I care for — the sauce was a different red color than I would have expected, and tasted almost sweet & tomato based, the lamb less than tender — would not consider reordering. The Nihari was a first and last time item. It is a Pakistani Curry/Stew using Lamb or Beef, and often includes bone marrow, and sometimes even brains. Frankly, I couldn’t be completely sure, but I think this was beef, but the flavor was weird, the texture was tough, and the whole thing was a uninspiring gray color. Not even a question of a reorder. The Tandoori Chicken was the somewhat muted star of this less than spectacular array of items. The Shrimp Masala was decent, but very overpriced. The 2 appetizers, Aloo Tikki and Vegetable Samosas were simply awful — the first were greasy, and the second were burnt — check the pictures! Again, no question of a reorder. Simply can’t see trying this place again. Too expensive, with sub-par quality.

First time here and the food was wonderful. Everything tasted made from scratch right down the the condiments. We love lamb saag and did not see it on the menu so they made it for us and it was delicious. The lamb was extremely tender. We also enjoyed the naan and aloo paratha. Everyone that waited on us was very friendly.

I stopped in on a whim around 2:30. Of course there wasn’t a lot on the Buffett but the owner made sure to prepare anything I wanted fresh. I would not consider myself an Indian Food coniseur but I’ve had a few varying buffets here and there. All I can say, is fresh is best. The food I had here was crispy, juicy and a great spice combination. Other buffets I have tried the chicken would be dry, but not here. The service was friendly and I never felt rushed. I will definitely return.

I love Indian food and have tried every restaurant I can find in the Triad. Most are just ok. They hit the spot but nothing really to rave about. Tandoori Junction had me with the first bite. I prefer spicy food and am always a little disappointed if certain cuisines are«tamed down» to suite American tastes. If fire is what’s required then give me fire! Tandoori Junction was everything I had hoped it would be. Everything on the buffet was fresh, delicious and the correct amount of heat. This was just a quick business lunch. Can’t wait to come back to bring my wife!

We went for their lunch buffet and it was a definite hit. The food was warm and fresh even though it was a buffet, they kept refilling from the kitchen. They also provide fresh hot Naan which tastes like traditional tandoori you get from India or Pakistan. If you decide to go, definitely try the mango lassi. Its fresh mango and it wasn’t sour like most places. Its just the right amount of sweet and sour. I would recommend this place to people looking for a good lunch spot for a great price! You’ll get the flavors of traditional indian cuisine without chugging down gallons of water.

Savory meats, a nice variety on the menu, and a super-friendly hostess Avi, who patiently answered all our questions and made spot-on recommendations. My first time with Tandoori grilled meats, which are spit-roasted in a deep tub-like oven(a tandoor). Bihari Boti, or seasoned chicken chunks cooked like a kebab, were lean, with plenty of seasoning and just a little crust. Very tasty, but a little on the dry side. Add a little mint or yogurt dipping sauce to moisten it up. Lamb Karahi was a sweet and spicy curry served with white rice. We shared both dinners family style, along with sides of seasoned rice and vegetables(Vegetarian Pulao) and Keema Paratha, a pancake-style flatbread. A nice mix of tastes and textures, and plenty of food for two. We took home enough for a second meal. We ordered medium-spicy, which had plenty of kick for us. The food took 15 or so minutes to prepare. And we asked a lot of questions before we ordered. A good choice when time to slow down for a leisurely meal. There is a buffet line also, although it was not open the evening we were there. Maybe for lunch only? Two entrees and two generous sides for $ 40.

well i tasted their mutton biryani recently and IMHO its not that great tasted like they had the meat and rice separately and just mixed and heated just before order. Also, its pretty expensive for the quality and quantity. their website says different price and the actual price in their menu card is higher. never going there again. 0 stars

Not just another Indian restaurants amongst the plethora of Indian dining establishments in GSO. The selections are limited yes, but the variety of nationalities(North Indian, South Indian, Pakistani) make up for it. One of the staff members, Avi is one of the sweetest ladies I’ve met working in any restaurant in town and she really tries to make people feel welcome and appreciated. Will be returning for sure.
