This isn’t the best looking Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to. The old booths with holes in them and bad paint job made me just hope that at least the food here is good. The food was decent. Nothing great. Prices are real good for lunch. Some of my favorites would have to be… Pepper steak, chicken wings, general tso chicken.

Wow, time does fly — it had been over 3 years since I had eaten at this nice, large buffet, and I’ve got to change the timing to more frequently because this is very solid Americanized Chinese food served in a clean, bright environment. Crispy Chicken, Chicken Wings, Spicy Chicken w/Jalapenos, Black Pepper Chicken, Pepper Steak, Egg Rolls, Lo Mein, and Vegetable Fried Rice were all solid, with the Crispy Chicken, Chicken Wings, and Black Pepper Chicken especially good. Pricing is reasonable(Lunch is just under $ 7), the variety is very good, and the service is efficient if a bit aloof. It not a bad place to grab a good Americanized Chinese meal, not bad at all.

I eat here with my kids weekly. If you come in when the food is fresh it is hot and tastes great. In comparison to ichiban and the buffet on big tree way off of Wendover they are much cheaper and have the best egg rolls of the three. The staff is friendly and I have not seen them doing anything unsanitary. They do not speak great English, but my 16 month old and 9 year old enjoy the staff. The egg drop soup is a little thick for my taste, but is really good if mixed half and half with the wonton soup. My mom came in with me and I ordered her the buffet. She only ate soup so they only charged me for the soup. I did not ask them to change the bill, they did that on their own.

The atmosphere on the inside is definitely better than on the outside. It is clean and it has hand sanitizer available. The servers are attentive and nice. The food is good and plentiful. It has quite an array of foods, Chinese and American. Most meat dishes are chicken, but there are some beef and seafood, also. The buffet lines were not crowded, but we were there at an «off» time. I can see that it would be very popular with the after church crowd. Other reviewers have spoken about particular food items and I found that they were«spot-on», totally correct. The other items tasted really good; however, the chicken on a stick and the spare ribs were tough and inedible, but those were the only problems I had. The yeast rolls with honey butter were wonderful! Also included were salads, soups, desserts, sushi, and chicken wings(fried, hot and spicy). The chicken wings were really good and VERY hot – which is rare. The pork fried rice and the won ton soup were also very good and worth mentioning. One thing I really appreciated is that they use light meat as well as dark meat chicken. I hate dark meat, so it is nice to have a choice, especially because many of their items contained chicken. I will be returning and right now, it is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

As a native atlantan, the chinese buffet here is kind of fake. It is used to fool the people who dont know chinese food. This might as well be another take out place. There are no shrimp or seafood. Rice, noodles, and broccoli filled up many trays here. If u guys want real buffet, visit atlanta such as Sydney buffet or nori nori. This is food used to fool american… the food is cold and very disgusting.

Buffets are usually not my thing… first, I fill up fast, and second, I sort of think buffets are icky. But this lunch buffet was pretty decent. The restaurant is in a giant shopping megaplex. The inside is bright and open with plenty of seating, and it looked clean. We were immediately seated and asked what we would like to drink(no liquor license). The lunch buffet is $ 6.50 + $ 1.50 for tea/soft drinks. For that price, you apparently can eat and drink until you make yourself sick. I stopped eating before reaching that point, but I managed a bowl of soup and three plates of food just the same(in my defense, I didn’t load the plates up, and I sort of have a food«no touchy» rule, so I ate less than it sounds like I did). I was accidentally served sweet tea which makes me gag, but it was replaced without incident. The hot and sour soup was okay. I’ve had much better, but it wasn’t horrid; it was just not very spicy hot maybe to appeal more to the masses. Then, I made a plate of sushi and steamed mussels. The sushi, at first, appeared to be of a variety, but really it was basically a rotation of imitation crab, cream cheese, avocado, and rice, with different colored sauces drizzled over some of the selections. Everything was fresh, and I reminded myself lunch was $ 6.50 so I could hardly expect uni or toro. They had seaweed salad which did surprise me… it was served in little limp cups of something supposedly edible over rice with a sprinkling of roe on top. Pretty. The mussels were a little fishy, but I ate them anyway. My next plate was an egg roll and a fried spring roll. The spring roll was delicious! The egg roll wasn’t. I nibbled at a fried jalapeño, a cheese baked mussel(weird), and a couple of other things that I can’t recall. At this point I was pretty full and unable to try the myriad of other offerings… lots of noodle and rice dishes, many of which looked interesting. I’ll have to come back and try other samplings. I finished up with some fruit and a couple little desserts, and I’m still stuffed. Lunch was cheap enough and decent enough that I think my normal lunch posse will make this a regular on the rotation schedule.

Not the best, but not the worst either. This place isn’t very expensive and the food selection is decent.

Acceptable, but not great. They probably get a lot of foot traffic being in close proximity with Walmart and a bus stop. Pricing is average, food is usually hot.

I went one day before 12 thinking to beat the crowd. There were a number of people there so I was totally shocked that everything was COLD on the buffet. Never mind that it all tasted the same. I really don’t see what the big deal is about this place anyway. Their price is was to high — I don’t care how many steam tables they have.

I had seen great reviews on other sites regarding Super China Buffet so I thought I would give it a try. I usually eat early around 11am for lunch and was surprised to see so many people in the restaurant already, so that was a good sign. However, when I first saw the buffet it looked like the typical Chinese buffet you would see anywhere. I thought oh no the food will be bland. So I went ahead and tried a little bit of everything and it was all wonderful. Everything had great flavors. You can find the same items elsewhere and it will be bland but here at Super China Buffet everything is infused with great flavor. The restaurant is roomy, bright, and very clean. The service is very attentive. AND the food is great. If you’re itching for some Chinese Buffet food then you won’t be disappointed here. I’m definitely adding this place to my list of good eats.

I’ve never been a fan of buffet restaurants. There are so many germs and people who are not hygienic to say the least. I’m always afraid I’m going to catch something from eating at one, but I don’t get that vibe at all from the Super China Buffet. It’s kept extremely clean and they’ve actually got huge hand sanitizing dispensers that you can use on your trip back to your seat after visiting the buffet. The main reason I dig this place is the food. I’ve never been to a Chinese buffet restaurant that has such fresh tasty food. The house rolls taste just like the spring rolls I got in Japan at the Hob Nob Inn. I couldn’t believe it the first time I tried one, as that’s a taste I’ve been craving for years and years that I never quite forgot. The other awesome dish is their hot and sour soup. They’ve perfected it and it’s just hot enough and just sour enough. Their soup tastes exactly like the soup at my favorite all time Chinese restaurant in Atlanta that closed years ago. All of the food is delicious, and the price is great as well.
