Really good bar food, tons of televisions, and nice beer selection. One of the only places in town that Patriots fans can come together. My only complaints are that it often gets too crowded during sporting events, thus slowing down the service. Also, sometimes the bartenders are extremely rude and the«regulars» are often times annoying to be around.

This place is freaking killer, great service with great drink specials. A different drink special for every night of the week and their tatertots are to die for. Seriously, get them plain or with all the fixings on them: either way they’re mind blowing.

Update! Two days went by without ever hearing from management regarding the bleach contaminated food. I instead reached out to them to get what I thought was a sincere apology along with a tiny bit of attitude! I was promised a goodwill faith effort on their behalf which now three days later I’ve not heard a word from them. After reading their last health inspection infractions on the GCHD site, I’m better off! Make better decisions my friends!

The owner is a New England Patriots fan… but don’t hold that against him. He runs a real good establishment, and he never… cheats… you on portions! In fact, you could say his prices are… not as inflated… as similar joints. Okay I’ve had my fun. Seriously though, this is a great downtown neighborhood bar. Friendly bartenders and staff, generally good drink specials, and some pretty tasty food. If it is fried, you can probably find it here. Anything from onion rings, to wings, to pizza rolls… and that is just fine by me. Burgers here are always pretty good. A lot of stiff competition for a great burger in Greensboro, but I would never turn one down here. Cooked just right, comes with a nice portion of the side of your choice. Even if you’re not drinking beer, the sweet tea is pretty good, for those times you gotta go back to work reasonably sober. Overall, thumbs up from me. A good place to watch the game or meet friends for a drink. What more can you ask from a neighborhood bar?

A warning before you thoughtfully read my review… I LOVE the Boston Red Sox and this being a Boston bar, I might be a little biased in my review. When I found out several years ago that Greensboro had a bar that celebrated the best baseball teams ever, I knew I had to go. Close to downtown, this is a somewhat dive/sports bar but it is perfect for watching the game. The left side has a large bar with plenty of draft and bottle offerings, of course for good luck, I always drink a Sam Adams Boston lager. They also have a great whiskey and tequila selection! The other side is more a restaurant feel with booths and tables. What I love about this side is that it was a TV at every booth so you can watch whatever you want. The food selection is surprisingly amazing offering typical bar food but extremely well executed. The wings are cooked perfectly with extra crispness. The burgers, tacos and quesadillas heck even the salads are all tasty! The owner is from Boston so he provides that New England charm!

We’ve been coming to stumbles for a few years. They have a strong bar menu which includes a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and properly prepared wings. In fact, for our past two visits, we’ve ordered the wings and they’re always well prepared. We typically go with the traditional hot, but they do have other flavored available. They also have a nice whiskey selection and a good craft beer selection – both taps and bottles. The service is fine. Never had a problem. The house music is also notable. Sometimes bars can be loud and, like Jake’s, pipe in terrible pop-metal or garbage electronic. Stumbled plays a variety of good music, from classic 90s grunge to deep cuts from the late 60s and 70s. This matters because it actually helps to create a space that’s conducive to socializing.

It’s a kitschy little joint with a limited menu, but great for the sports fan. I had the Green Monster burger with tots, and both items were well prepared, and tasty. We also tried the pimiento cheese dip, which was also tasty but served cold, with warm, soft pita points. The dip was so stiff you couldn’t use the pita to dip and we had to ask for utensils, which were lightweight plastic… not my favorite. We will go back.

You can just cross this place off of your bucket list. Its not even worth a try. I was lured in by their name, and the smell of burgers cooking off. Then let down in every single way possible. This place has no parking. Inside is a weird layout with a bar on one side and a dingy well worn restaurant area on the other side. Every single surface in this place is dinged, broken, worn out and just in bad condition. The service is terrible, and very slow. The waitress was MIA99% of the time. So we couldnt get anything we needed, and we were in here for over an hour trying to get a burger and fries and get out. On top of that she had a incredibly crappy attitude. The food. The burger was dry, lacked any real taste and the toppings were even worse. Mushrooms could have passed for fake rubber ones, and the cheese wasnt even melted. The lettuce was one single wilted piece of something green. I’m not sure what it was. The tater tots were cold despite having to wait 15 – 20 minutes for food to come out. I ran out of tea, and never did get a full refill. Not even one! So you come in here and pay $ 2 for a glass of tea and cant get any refills. The restrooms were in a strange place and well worn, not to mention quite smelly. I would never return here. fast food would be a major upgrade from this place. Just absolute crap from start to finish.

VERY friendly staff where the bartender introduced herself as I walked up. For someone who travels, this is a great place to stop in and not feel awkward walking into a storage place. Customer service should get six stars.

I really do not understand the hype of this place! We were visiting from out of town, so clearly we have never been to this place until that day. We walk in and are abruptly asked«what would you like» before we could even sit down. The man behind the bar, who was also serving(if you can even call it that) was possibly the rudest person I have ever met working in that profession! The service was HORRIBLE! We had to ask the young lady behind the counter to help us with drinks and our food because the man simply was horrible! We ordered the cheese dip and it was disgusting. He yelled at me across the room to ask how I liked it, I told him it wasn’t good and he said«well I told you it’s not our specialty» are you kidding me?! Needless to say we asked the girl to take it off our tab. We got our food, I ordered the Ruben and friend got the bison burger. My bread was so old that it was chewy and the sandwich itself lacked flavor. Same with the bison burger. The homemade chips were good though. The man came over and asked if I wanted a box and I said no. He left my plate and told the other girl to grab me a box. She brought it and I told her I didn’t want it. He came over to find out why, and I told him the sandwich was gross so why would I take it home. He simply didn’t understand this concept. Needless to say we will never return. Yuck!

I enjoyed my time at Stumble Stilskins! It’s exactly what you would expect… cheap drinks, good convo, tv’s and music. They always seem to have drink specials. The bartendar was really nice. We sat there and just chatted the other day and it’s a gauranteed stop in the future just for a regular good old time. I don’t know if I have any complaints about the place… I would just say manage your expectations. It’s really just a good old downtown whole in the wall. Who could complain about that… I didn’t try the food though. but I’m guessing it’s pretty much just bar food…

A very cool bar that does a very good job as being a burger joint during lunch hours. Every burger has a protein option; beef, bison, poultry, bean, and a house blend that is awesome. You can marry all the burgers up with chips, fries, tots, potato salads, and a few other veggies(if that’s your thing). This is my second lunch visit here because the first time was great. The staff is friendly, helpful, and easy on the eye :0) My burger was cooked to taste(med-well) and served up pretty quick considering that most tables were full. There are two areas here; one has the full bar and the other side has tall tables and a pool table that subs as a table to seat a dozen folks. There are plenty of TVs here so I look forward to pigskin season so I can give them a try. Now I have to change my name to Norm and post up at the end of the bar on my favorite stool.

While it is probably impractical to try every burger offered in the Triad, it certainly would seem to be worth the effort to try, especially since one can also try other menu offering at each restaurant along the way. Yesterday’s stop on the Triad Burger Highway was this small, worn dive bar/sports bar with New England sports memorabilia decorating the place. While a Bison Burger seems the signature burger here, ferociously independent Alice decided to build a burger her way, with ground beef, habanero jack cheese, jalapenos, grilled onions, and mayo, with a side order of Tater Tots. Since they offered a Hot Dog, I ordered it, along with their lunch special, Fish & Chips. Grabbed a side of Pasta Salad along with the dog. The burger was very nice, great ground beef flavor, with the cheese and jalapenos providing some nice heat. The only thing that prevents this burger from being excellent is the bun — there simply is way too much bread, it mutes the taste of the other ingredients, even ones with some zip to them, like the cheese and peppers. I’m not sure why some many places now use buns that smother the burger. The Hot Dog was huge, a very large Nathan’s All Beef with some good taste, but the roll used here is a sub roll, so like the burger, you end up with more bread than is needed, or wanted. The fish portion of the Fish & Chips special was obviously frozen, but was loaded with flavor, and fried perfectly. Would make a great fish sandwich(which the have on the menu), but if they are true to form, there will be too much bread. The sides were are pretty good, with the Tots being excellent — almost the equal of those at Jake’s. The FFs were solid, as was the Pasta Salad. The service was excellent, thanks Jamie — hope your first bartending shift went well. We’ll probably come back, if for no other reason than to try their Cheese Steak, with a side of those nice Tots.

Ok, I wanted to love this place because I want to support the mom-n-pop establishments. Unfortunately, the place was just a mess. Dirty, rickety high tops, and a filthy bathroom with who know’s what on the walls. The bartender was nice, and the food pretty good, so there is that. But I have to say coming from outside the area to give it a college try was kinda disappointing.

Definitely a bro bar — or like, former bros? Like grown up bros? — 28 TVs I think they said. You come here to stare at the screen of your choice. Which is great if you don’t have cable and need to see a game! Especially a game apparently no one else in town wants to see. There do seem to be great drink specials, though just a heads up that the food’s nothing to sing about or anything. pretty standard reheated tasting appetizers and surprisingly meh burgers. The lighting and overall feel of it — I guess I was hoping for something actually more divey and less generic sporty… there is a pool table though! 1 pool table and 28 screens.

How am I just finding out that this a New England themed bar? Shame on me. I would have came in a long time ago. I walked by this place so many times & never thought of going in. Seeing Patriots, Celtics and Bruins decorations all over made me feel very much at home & so did the owners super Boston accent. Of course they have NC stuff too but I overlooked it. I tried the California Bison Burger & it was great just wish it had more guac. It has bacon, mushrooms, onions & gouda cheese, all things I love. The bread was nice too it held together almost til the end. Bread on these big burgers usually have trouble keeping it together, this one held on longer than usual. The tots were a favorite too perfectly crispy, I couldn’t get enough. They have beer flights! I loved the one I got. I got a Sweet Jesus, just the smell alone is enticing, this one is chocolate and peanut butter flavored I liked it. I had a Sweetwater as well and I honestly can’t remember the name of the last one. My friends both had mixed drinks which they said were very strong and cheap. Who isn’t a fan of strong and cheap? I’m deff a fan & I will be back!

I eat here during my lunch hour, great place to eat. The food is awesome(best turkey burger I’ve had so far). The owners are very friendly and always interact with the customers. One of my favorite spots in downtown Greensboro… despite it being a Patriots bar.
