Recently visited for Valentine’s Dinner and it was awesome! Our waiter Sean K made the experience that much better, he was friendly and efficient! I have always like the ambiance in the bistro and our dinner was no exception. The only real disappointment of the night was the charcuterie board, of the three cheese two were blue cheese. And since I don’t like blue cheese that was lame. The seared tuna was tasty, the salad with it was also awesome. I do wish the tuna would have been cold though and not room temperature. The lobster ravioli was amazing. The best I have had! The pasta seemed homemade, big chunks of lobster, with the perfect creamy middle. The short rib ravioli were tasty but just okay compared to the delicious, delicious, lobster. Now, let’s talk about that dessert! I’m still dreaming about it. We got the mini sampler, the passion fruit crème brûlée was a standout along with the latte cheesecake. The cheesecake had the perfect ratio of creamy deliciousness and Oreo crust awesomeness. This is a must try the next time you are in.

Awesome waiting staff. Very upscale and warm ambiance. The Jazz selection is pretty good as well. I ordered the fried calamari and grilled salmon and was pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the dishes. The meats were cooked to perfection and were seasoned well, not overdone. I will definitely return here during my next visit to Greensboro.

I still don’t like the food here. I’ve tried. And I have the resources to order anything on the menu. Coworkers treat this restaurant like the Taj Mahal, but I sit and stare at the menu attempting to select something that doesn’t sound weirdly contrived and trying way too hard. I adore food. I’ll eat almost anything. So I shouldn’t have this struggle. The ambiance and interior gets high marks, however. Maybe I should just smuggle in food from elsewhere and enjoy the beauty of this place while my coworkers rave about the tasty«roasted acorn squash filled with wild grain medley, mushrooms, red peppers, kale and cauliflower, with sautéed greens, crumbled goat cheese and roasted tomato coulis.»

A definite five stars for the ambiance, but maybe four or four and a half for the food! Print Works is a absolutely classy, beautiful, and elegant European looking dining experience that’s unrivaled in the Triad area! Unless you’re going for the breakfast/brunch experience, you’ll want to wear some of your best attire to keep from feeling out of place. This is the type of place to splurge a bit and order things you possibly wouldn’t normally. The wine list is extensive, but the price range is reasonable for everyone with prices from the $ 20’s to $ 300 for a bottle! The server will monitor your glass and come back to re-pour your glass! I’ve yet to have that kind of service in any other upscale restaurant in the Triad! For my entrée this evening I had the Sunday special which was turkey with tomato bread pudding and mashed potatoes! The turkey was extremely tender and the tomato bread pudding was something you just can’t describe other than to say it’s fabulous! Due to our server’s suggestion, I also added a side of the Brussel sprouts with bacon. It’s shredded and served looking more like a warm salad that left us both speechless! The Chicken Schnitzel entrée was good, but just not great in any way! The accompanying pear salad on the other hand was a terrific side dish! For dessert we ordered the warm beignets, which like others have said, were a bit different with the crime filling but fabulous none the less! The coffee was a fabulous blend and well worth getting if your splurging on a dessert. The only hiccup was the fact that we ordered the Ahi Tuna appetizer which never came. It was a honest mistake by our server for which she took total blame and didn’t pass the blame to the kitchen! To her credit she didn’t pass the charge on to us for dessert! All said, Print Works is a fun, classy, get dressed, and have a elegant dining experience kind of place! Tried their Sunday Brunch and again I find it to be exquisite! The Duck Confit was extremely good and rich in flavor! The French Toast seemed to be Challah bread and it too was so incredibly good! I’m in love with this place and their finer dining experience!

I have eaten here on 3 different occasions the last one being on Thanksgiving Day. On each occasion I have come away pleased with the experience. Since my place is no where near large enough to host all of the people coming into town for the holiday(this was put together quite unexpectedly too due to one of my friends undergoing radiation and chemotherapy at Baptist Hospital) we had to find a place to do Thanksgiving for the big group. Enter Print Works Bistro! It is located in the Proximity Hotel(in itself is pretty posh) and is just a great setting for eating and entertaining. This is one of the most elegant restaurants in the Triad area, and the service has always been above reproach. The menu for this night was a Pri Fixe($ 49.00)traditional dinner but with an obvious«amped up» presentation/preparation. The meal started off with sausage and sweet potato beignets with a cream sauce, next a plate with oven roasted turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, sage stuffing, and haricot vert. Dessert was a chocolate tort with salted caramel ice cream. Although the wine list there is certainly adequate, we decided to bring a few special bottles for dinner that were certainly not on the list. A 2014 Cade Sauvignon Blanc, 2012 Cade Howell Mountain Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and a 2005 Château d’Yquem. If you haven’t eaten here before then make yourself some reservations and try it out. It isn’t necessarily cheap but you will be glad that you did.
