Great sports bar! Chill atmosphere with good food and service. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Gboro.

This is a my go to sports bar for any event. It is accommodating for any age group. The waitresses are fantastic and are always friendly and polite. I gave this 4 stars instead of five because I do think that it is a little bit overpriced. However, the service and the convenience easily make up for the price.

Great place to watch a game. We had the sweetest waitress– very attentive. Strong drinks and got my order right– I’m a vegan.

I’ve been multiple times, and the food never seems to sit well with me. Also, there are generally like 5 million people there whenever I go, so the service isn’t very good as they have so many tables to wait on. It’s big, it’s crowded, there are lots of tv’s… But there are better places to watch a game and get good food.

I get it… you want to show sports in every corner and nook and cranny you can put one in. Sports bar for anyone who wants to watch the big game or some obscure sport that you can watch anywhere else. First off, when you come in, a nice waiting area greets you… surrounded by about 8 employees, every time we go. Also seems to be a manager just hanging around the women waitresses that yells creepy. But again, its a sports bar so we must put women waitresses in tiny outfits and shorts when it is freezing outside. This time our waitress was super sweet, very attentive and was one of the better servers we have had. Their food is a step above typical bar food, but nothing that is outstanding. Food and beverages come out pretty quickly and they have decent drink specials. I have never been in when a big game is on, so I am sure it gets busy. I give it three stars because it is just that, middle of the road chain spot that doesn’t do much more to than that.

Food is great, but the service was awlful. We were seated, waited 20 min before our drink orders were taken, after we received our food, the waitress never came back to check on us, no napkins, no refills. after we finished eating, we waited 15, and had to stop someone and ask for our check. During this, people were seated, waited on, multiple visits and left. Worst service i’ve ever had at any restaurant. It was as if we were invisible. I usually leave 20−25% but only left a 10% tip. Which is 10% more than she deserved.

Decent food, but terrible service. Our server ignored us. She would not make eye contact. She waited on guests who came in after us, before she greeted us. She did not check on us. Our drinks were never refilled. It was like she needed to be a great server to the other tables, but refused to even look our way? We are usually really good tippers, but it was hard to give the minimum, when we did not actually receive any service. Follow up… I received a phone call from the manager. He was very apologetic. He said that he wanted us to come back and let them try again. He took down my name and address, saying that he would mail me a gift card. That was weeks ago, and I am certain that the promised card will not be coming. That’s okay, because I did not email them with my concerns because I was fishing for restitution.

Great Food but Terrible Service. My husband, Sister, her boyfriend, and myself decided to go to Kickback Jack’s for dinner before heading to Tanglewood’s Festival of Lights. We were seated and our waitress was Gina. My sisters boyfriend ordered and appetizer. It never came out. They brought out our food and he still didn’t get his appetizer. Gina was not apologetic or offer to do anything about it. She never checked back with us while we were eating and was less than attentive. My sisters boyfriend never got his appetizer. I will not be eating at this location again.

It’s definitely a sports bar. I have only been here for lunch, so I was more interested in food than downing shots and cheering a team on to victory on one of the many TVs scattered throughout the cavernous space. It looks like this could be a fun and festive venue in the evenings or on the weekends. As for lunch, it’s just rather run of the mill. Our server was very cheerful and enthusiastic, but she was only so-so on attentiveness in terms of beverage refills and time for the checks. But she and the hostess who seated us were both very nice. I had an oyster po’ boy with a side of fries. The sandwich was huge(lots of bread), and there were quite a few shrimp on the bed of shredded lettuce, but the shrimp were not crispy/hot/tasty… rather they just tasted like raw batter. The french fries were limp and lukewarm. I had a glass of wine with my meal because I’m fatalistic that way, and when I was offered wine in a can(that’s a thing?), I foolishly opted instead for the house wine which was… well, I got what I deserved. My friend had wings and fries, and she was very happy with her meal. Maybe I just am not meant for bar food.

Went back on Sunday and had a good time watching football. The service continues to be on the slow side with little attention to detail. Nevertheless, it’s a pretty solid choice for a sports bar with a more mature crowd.

Nice atmosphere but terrible food! I had wings and mozzarella sticks. Wings were cold and the honey BBQ sauce was truly awful. The marinara sauce for the cheese sticks had a strange taste and the celery was brown on both ends. I ate one wing before sending them back. The waitress barely even paid attention to me because she was too busy talking to friends. Then she had the nerve to still try to charge me for the food! Never will visit again!

Jacks is a sports bar and it does sports bar pretty well. I’ve been here when it’s packed for Monday Night or Thursday night, and I’ve also been here when it’s late on a Saturday and not that crowded. I’ve always enjoyed the experience. Given that it’s a sports bar, they need to do a few things well: wings, beer and sports. Let’s start with the wings. I’ve had the boneless and the regular and, being a wing traditionalist, I’ve gotten both with buffalo sauce. It’s exactly what you crave when you’re craving wings and you’ll likely find yourself eating more of them than you should. The beer is good enough. I’m a bit of a craft beer guy, but Kickback Jack’s has pretty cheap giant Miller Lites that are pretty hard to try down. YOLO, right? The sports are definitely worth going for. There are a lot of TVs covering nearly every inch of the bar, and the last time I went, they were more than happy to put the Première League Match of the Week(Chelsea v Crystal Palace) on the TV nearest to me. That’ll do. If you’re looking for the sports bar experience, Kickback Jack’s will get the job done!

Very cool looking interior. Sports themed which is always cool to me. Came here for a work retirement party for someone. I got some appetizers… Chicken wings and nachos. Both were pretty good. Good drink specials. Will go back and try some more things soon.

A good spot for anything sports on TV. The beer is plentiful, drinks are strong, food is better than average. There is seldom a crowd but always enough servers to handle it. My fav food choices are wings, fish and chips, and pizzas. The always have a beer special and are open late. Parking can be an issue on big game days. REPYOURTEAM!

This was a very fun place to eat. We walked in and there was a bit of a wait but we had no where else to be anyway. We waiting about 10 mins or less for our table on a busy Friday night after work. We sat down and were immediately greeted by our waitress. She had the«3-Ps» in service. She was polite, professional, and personable. We all liked her and she was on top of it. We were never without drinks and she checked on us just enough to make sure that we had everything we needed and didn’t smother us. I’m picky about my food(Duh) and I really wanted ribs. She brought me a sample of the BBQ sauce to try and I was all in. The ribs were excellent. The fires were great(even better with the cheese and bacon on them). I tried to trip up the bartender by ordering a few drinks that were really rare or hard to make. Who ever it was got them all right. Kudos. One of my guests had an issue with an over cooked steak. She told our waitress who then told the manager. The manager was also very personable and profession. He took it off the tab and made her a new one. Now that is customer service. We liked. We will come back.

What you see is what you get — this is a sports bar, and the music is loud, all the myriad of big screen TV’s are on(muted at Monday lunch) and the place gets busy. There are single eaters at the bar; twos, threes, or fours in the booths; communal tables of 8 or more. There are blue jeans, shorts, flipflops, uniforms, and suits; young and seasoned — and the attractive, mostly short-wearing waitresses fly around the restaurant. The food is typical sports bar/pub food — heavy on the burgers, appetizers and sandwiches, with a few salads and some plates of fried seafood and such. Decent beer selection, including Stella on draft(a pint for $ 5.50). Firehouseburger($ 7.59) is huge — comes with Pepperjack cheese, jalapenos, fried onions, and is loaded with flavor, comes with a side of FFs. The Italian Sub($ 8.79) is also excellent — great crusty sub roll, nice amount of meat and cheese, also comes with a side. The FFs are great, as well. Food is excellent, service is very good, music is very loud, but can be tolerated. We’ll be back.
