I dropped in on Friendly Nails today(in Quaker Village Shopping Center) on the spur of the moment. I had never been there, but was in the area, and my home-done manicure was looking ragged. I am not a regular manicure person, but of the places I have gone, I liked Friendly Nails a lot — it is a very light, clean shop, extremely kind and helpful staff. It only took about 35 minutes, and was only $ 15 before tip. I will definitely go back.

Actually, this place is called«Friendly Nails,» if I recall correctly. It’s in Quaker Village, next to where the Fresh Market used to be. My mother and I have been getting our nails done by Vivian and her terrific staff for at least fifteen years now. The salon is super clean, well-kept, spacious, and comfortable. I think they must carry every OPI nail color in the world. My mother gets acrylics; I used to get my acrylics done here but now just get normal manicures. We’ve also gotten pedicures and waxing done here, and they do a phenomenal job at everything! I got my nails done on Tuesday(it is currently Saturday) and they still look beautiful and fresh. All the services are very reasonably priced, and the salon experience on the whole is lovely. I make sure to drop by every time I’m in town, even just to say hi. Such a great nail salon!
