I went here when shopping for a new mattress for my daughter. Found that the salespeople in particular the middle-aged gentleman was very condescending when I tried to ask questions about the mattress. First let me say I love my mattress. I thought I was given a fair deal on the mattress. My problem with the place was more on the customer service. The manager/owner(I’m not sure) seemed to be very overwhelmed with customers when I was shopping. When I asked questions he responded as if my questions were stupid, but I’m not mattress expert so of course I had questions. He did allow me time to lay on the mattresses and figure out which one fit me best but I did not feel like an informed shopper due to his lack of response. The major problem lies with the delivery of my mattresses. While the mattresses arrived the same day, when the guy came to deliver my mattresses he arrived at my door in fright because I lived on the third floor. I was never asked what floor I lived on nor did I know that the the delivery service was a one man stunt. He then continued to bitch about it and asked me if I could help him with getting the mattress up the stairs. I told him that I paid for the delivery service and didn’t feel that I should help(plus he had his son with him who I thought should be assisting as well… but nevertheless)… Reluctantly I assisted with getting the mattresses in my apartment. He said he only needed help with the mattress and not the box spring, so he carried the boxspring up himself. Yet, after he left and I looked at the box spring he caused a tear in the box spring cover. I called the manager/owner to let him know of the tear. He stated that they didn’t have any more boxsprings in stock and that he would call and schedule the delivery of a new boxspring when he had them in stock… that was about a month ago… I never received a call back. I decided to just keep the boxspring at this point as I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of it anymore…

BEWARE I purchased a brand new bed, but it came with BEDBUGS!!! When I spoke with the manager about it, he seemed totally unconcerned and stated there was nothing he could do because they didn’t come from his store. My apartment was inspected for pest especially bedbugs before the new bed was delivered and I was given a clean bill. I had to go out the the store twice because the first time on Sunday the manager was not there, I left my name and number and the issues I was having and was told the manager would be in at 11 am the next morning(Monday) and would call my then. On Tuesday by 2 pm when he had not called I went back to the store for the second time. When I showed him the bug I had found in the bed he said«that is NOT a bed bug, that bed bugs are minute, but anyway it could not have come from his bed.» My apartment’s contracted pest control came back today and stated that yes I now have bed bugs and the bug that I showed the manager at Mattress Outlet is indeed a BEDBUG. If it were not for the bugs the mattress would be great. BEWARE!!! ITWAS A OVER $ 400ANDNOWTHEYSAYTHATTHEREISNOTHINGTHEYCANDO, BUTTHEYWILLHAVETOMANUFACTURECONTACTME. Will update after I hear from the manufacture.
