It was KFC. I feel the franchise has declined in general. It was chicken and it was reminiscent of what I once knew as a child but it was dry and pathetic looking. The new special makes it pretty cheap. Will avoid in the future.

Nostalgia got the best of me today. I was thinking about original recipe, mash potatoes and gravy, and a warm buttery biscuit. What I got was small, greasy chicken with mediocre spuds and a hockey puck. The chicken was not the golden brown as in the past but more of a darker color, it was more finger wiping than finger lickin’ good. The potatoes were not impressive and the biscuits were horrible little things. I usually post reviews of large chains when they are impressive or disappointing. You can figure this one out.

I stopped here for a quick, inexpensive lunch with coworkers after running some other errands during our lunch hour. We ate in the restaurant, and the place was clean and fairly comfortable. They offered several specials, and I opted for the Chicken Littles meal deal which included two little chicken tender sandwiches, french fries, and a drink. The food was good(though the bun on my second sandwich was a bit stale on one side), and with the lunch special, it was really cheap. The counterperson was very polite and efficient.

I would give zero stars if this was an option! This would have been a comedy of errors if it was a stage play. I placed my order in the drive-thru and was informed that there would be a short wait for one of the items. The cashier confirmed my order, I paid, pulled forward and proceeded to wait. The manager stepped outside and looked at my car after 15 minutes passed. Then he returned inside. After an additional 10 minutes I decided to go inside. The manager, cashier and cook all came forward and acknowledged having forgotten my order. And in addition, still had not prepared the items requested! Now I’m not saying KFC should employ Rocket scientists at their restaurants but either all the employees were on some type of substance or got the bad end of a lobotomy. Save yourself the time(it took 10 additional min to get my refund) and money. Who wants to wait all night and STILLNOT get their order.
