Grill ‘n Pho U

Decent Place to grab some food after shopping here at G Mart.
I expected that it would be a quick stop but it didnt turn out so, my Phở Ga came out after a solid 15 – 20 minutes which is quite unusual for asian places, I got a Huge bowl which took another 20 minutes to complete. Phở itself was kinda very mild in flavour, but it only took few condiments on our table to bring it to the level of heat I wanted .
The girls who worked here were super friendly and checked on us multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed.
I would definitely go back.

Hidden Greensboro Gem. Really prompt friendly service, good food, inexpensive. Added benefit of shopping at Super G Mart. What’s not to love. The udon rocks.

So disappointed. I got the Beef phở with rare beef and it took about 30 minutes just for it to come out! The beef was not rare but well done. There were only four pieces of small, thin pieces of beef and there was too much noodles. It was completely not proportionate and-​even when I added the hoisin and siracha sauce-​the phở was flavorless and a complete waste of money I spent.
I also got a «Thai Spiced Bubble Tea» and to keep it short; if I could choose between that or a free water, I’d choose the free water.
My friend got the «House Spicy Seafood Noodle» and it was equally disappointing. The mussels in the shell were so tiny, it was completely worthless to even add it to the soup or noodle bowl or phở or whatever you want to call it. There were only two shrimps and other than that there was no other «seafood» which defeated the purpose of a «House Spicy Seafood Noodle».
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It was a complete waste of my money.

I’ve been here twice already and I enjoy their bubble tea! It’s very refreshing and it comes with a pretty generous amount of tapioca. It’s not the best, but it’s not bad either. Their bubble tea are all smoothies, FYI.
I like how this restaurant is inside of Super G mart because I always enjoyed walking around the store and sipping on my bubble tea! :) I think it’s definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

I ordered the phở with rare beef and it was pretty tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the broth, but I have received a good bit more beef in phở’s from other area phở restaurants. The vegetables on the side were crisp and plentiful. All in all, I enjoyed the phở here and will return for sure.

I enjoyed my dinner at Grill ‘n Phở U. The service was not the most efficient but both employees were friendly. I wasn’t sure if you ordered at the counter and sat or table service; turns out they do have table service!
To start we ordered the egg rolls. They came out a bit burnt, I was surprised they served them to us and didn’t just fire up a new set. I didn’t enjoy them, they had a weird mealy texture. I took one bite of mine and left it.
I did enjoy my vanilla bubble tea! As well as my pork udon bowl. My fiancé got the noodle nest thing. He liked it but the ratio of toppings to hard noodles/​sauce was a bit off. The udon bowl had a delicious broth. Super flavorful and satisfying. If you are stoping in I would definitely recommend a broth based dish.
Would definitely go back if I needed to go to Super G Mart, but would not go out of my way to eat here.

Another excuse to visit the Super G. Had the crispy noodles with chicken. Good flavor, plenty of veggies. Other items on the menu made me curious, I’ll be back.

The food is ok. Have had better and way worse for sure. A convenient place to grab a bite and shop for international goodies for sure. I love their bubble tea. The honey dew is my favorite!

I think they changed management. The quality of phở goes way down. They only give one fresh spring roll per order now. What a disappointment!
