This bistro was recommended by my son’s doctor. We were one of 2 tables. We ordered fried green tomatos that were good and a beautiful presentation. tables started filling up and our glasses emptied 2 times and had to ask to be refilled., the Cuban sandwich was far from Cuban., bbq sauce???, no dills, not pressed., totally missed the mark., I ordered the avocado burger., wasn’t anything special., the meat was piled up in the middle of the bun and had to «remake» it., the pasta salad was gross and the cole slaw wasn’t cole slaw., it was cabbage with green leaf, maybe kale and no dressing what so ever., was so dry it was unable to eat it. We asked for the ticket and after catching a waiters eye he went and got on the phone., The 2 people working the tables were much to busy chatting up the guests to be able to give good service., if looking for a place., I’ll go across the street to another café I noticed., but not here for lunch., I’d come back and try breakfast but the service would stop me from doing that.

This is a great gem of a place. Small town feel with eclectic southern cuisine. If you are passing through or live in the area it’s a great place to eat.

Ate here yesterday and today. Both times was for breakfast. Had traditional eggs benedict yesterday and a waffle today. Both were great. Apple butter cinnamon whip on the waffle was very good but a little rich for my taste. I recommend getting it on the side so you can control the amount you want.

Wow! This restaurant could NOT be any better. Everyone is so friendly, the décor is warehouse-type rustic. Really, really nice and comfortable. The food and coffee are definitely«d’lish». I had the D’Lish Eggs Benedict and my husband had the Traditional Eggs Benedict. The D’Lish has fried green tomatoes instead of muffins and crumbled bacon in top, instead of ham as is found in the Traditional Eggs Benedict. It had the perfect balance of savory and tangy. Fried green tomatoes can sometimes be bland, but I was not disappointed. They were nice, thick, and tangy. Very flavorful. Also, the grits were cheesy and creamy. A yummy compliment. We liked how the kitchen was completely open to the dining area. Everything was spotless. If you’re anywhere near Greensboro, GA, a visit to D’Lish is a must! Great food, great coffee and a warm, inviting atmosphere are the hallmarks of this treasure of a bistro in historic downtown Greensboro. It’s worth the trip from I-20 or from Durhamtown if you want a great breakfast or lunch. My son and I were out for a little off road adventure and had breakfast both days. Try the D’lish for a unique Southern spin on eggs benedict. The waffles are excellent(from scratch) and I was extremely pleased to find great coffee.

Really wanted to like this place! First time we came they ran out of eggs. They were new and we tried to be understanding. The waitress said it would be 15 min before they would have eggs. She didn’t offer other options like lunch which would have been nice. We ordered waffles and with in 3 minutes others were served eggs as well as lunch. 2nd visit came early 9:00 so we were sure they would have eggs! Haha! Well we were greeted and we asked if we could sit in a booth, we were told they reserve them for families. There were 2 other couples siting in booths? We asked again for a booth and were told no. There were 6 open booths? We decided to leave and goto the Ritz for breakfast where we actually were taken care of nicely! The food here is good but they need to work on their employee training. ****Update 9÷20÷15 Went back for the third time and WOW!!! Third time was the charm! Kevin recognized us when we came in even though we were trying to be inconspicuous and wanted to be sure the experience was real. It was real and the best meal we have had in a long time! We were offered a booth(haha) but we declined as they were very busy and we wanted to accommodate others as well. The first thing we noticed was the menu, It had all the lunch and breakfast items combined so to give you a much better choice and understanding of the wonderful food available! Kudos for the improvement! The food was amazing! My wife had the Monte Cristo and I had the D’Lish eggs benedict! Whoever would have guessed that fried green tomatoes lightly battered and covered in hollandaise sauce could be soooo good! I am truly impressed with the responsiveness of Kevin and his staff. It seems all our suggestions were addressed and we really can’t say how much we appreciate the experience! I was ready to pay and Kevin took the time to introduce himself to us and he had a genuine concern about our dining experience! He even took care of the check which was unnecessary but greatly appreciated, we didn’t go for the free meal and will definitely be back again! Thanks again Kevin and the crew at D’Lish for being progressive and willing to be the best you can be!!! With the amazing menu and customer service you guys have you will be around for a very long time! The Ritz may have some serious competition! Thanks again Kevin and crew! Tommy and Cheri

What a treasure! Owner Kevin helped us set up a ramp for our wheelchair guest and is looking into a permanent solution. The waffles looked incredible but my Spicy omelette was OUTSTANDING!!! Tender, not dry… wonderful flavors. AND they offer treat-sized servings of Key Lime pie! Definitely worth visiting!

Had chefs special — pasta in a homemade cream sauce with grilled chicken and veggies. Wonderful! Awesome local spot. I came across this while passing through town. It had outdoor tables so I was able to eat outside with my pup. Great service.

We found this restaurant by chance. Traveling and saw a sign on the interstate for another restaurant but it was closed. Thank goodness! My husband had the Southern Eggs Benedict and I had D’lish Eggs Benedict — fried green tomatoes instead of English muffin. Awesome! We had the grits as a side which were wonderful! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Loved it all. Had the chicken ciabatta and the Caesar wrap. When you are in town or at the lake make sure to stop by D’lish!

I don’t know if there is a character limit on this review, but I could go on for days about how amazing each experience I have had here is! I couldn’t be happier that this delicious bistro is close to my work because it gives me amazing options for breakfast and lunch. From my first visit to my one just a little over 24 hours ago, not one complaint can be made. I am a picky eater and the chef is one step ahead — like replacing my blueberries on my weekly waffle with strawberries instead. And yes, I said WEEKLY waffle. I would go daily, but I like to work my way around their vast menu options. When it comes to lunch, my favorite is the club. For under $ 10, I am able to stretch this one sandwich(with its side of house made kettle chips) into two or three meals. Their portions are the largest I have ever seen and the value for the quality of food I receive is worth that price and more! I ventured out for their Sunday brunch one weekend, and even with the hiccup of no waffle batter or eggs at that immediate moment, their staff went above and beyond(and then some) to offer me numerous options of breakfast or lunch pieces I hadn’t tried before. I settled on the chicken bacon ranch wrap and was happy I did! They were sooo sweet and kind about the issue and I am pretty sure my portions were even bigger that day if that’s even possible! For only being opened right at two weeks that day– yes, two weeks — I was amazed at the way the staff and owner handled it. I worked in management at a quick service restaurant in the past and I’d hire each and every one of them simply from witnessing their poise that day. Needless to say, D’Lish is D’Lightful … in all aspects. The food. The staff. The environment. The price. You won’t be disappointed when you step through these doors!

Went here to just get a snack it was at 2pm didnt want a lot. I ordered chicken bacon wrap and fries thinking it was your typical wrap. Wife ordered salad. Wrap was huge gave some of my fries to her, but we left stuffed. It was all very good, service was good we went in they said we could sit anywhere we wanted to. My only con was I think the drinks are too high $ 2.75 for sweet tea is a little much, soft drinks were $ 2.50.

Yum, yum, yum! We tried this place for the first time last week for lunch and had breakfast a few days later. The food is very fresh. The flavors are nicely paired and the portions are abundant. Both breakfast and lunch lasted me for 2 meals. It is a nice change from Yesterday Café which I also enjoy but this is lighter fare with a hip cool twist and the food was D’lish!

Unilocal did it again… we were on the interstate and getting quite hungry… so we pulled up Unilocal and thankfully we were very close to this exit! D’Lish is named perfectly! Because everything we had was delicious! If you are even anywhere near this area, you have got to try this cute new establishment. We had eggs Benedict… one traditional and one the dlish way which was prepared with fried green tomatoes. And it was perfect. The eggs were poached perfectly and beautiful. We then shared a half order of waffles. And I have to say they were some of the best we have ever eaten! I wish we lived in this area as this would become an every week tradition for us. I will be dreaming about this place and craving it often!!! Perfect ending to our weekend away together!

I highly recommend this place. It was nice getting away from the big city I currenly live in, and enjoy a small charming town where people are friendly. I went to D’lish for brunch, and everything we ordered was fresh and was definitely D’lish. The service was fast, and everyone there was friendly. The owner Kevin was there, and he was so nice and told us things to do in the area. This place is a must go to if you’re in the area.
