Fresh and amazing dressing options! Always good! I happened to stop in one day and keep going back. Great lunch hour spot. I’ve always had more than enough toppings & dressing, and the price is reasonable, too, given the portion size. One salad can definitely take care of lunch and dinner!

I remember this franchise from about 20 years ago in NJ and always wondered why they weren’t more popular. I was SO excited to find one here in NC! We tried the Kale & Turkey Sausage(best of the best); Harvest Bounty(great– butternut squash, pumpkin, carrot, ginger, etc., very creamy and filling); and the Chicken Artichoke Florentine(super delicious, rich and buttery). All three soups were really tasty and I look forward to trying more of their soups. The store/eatery was exceptionally clean and the staff members helpful and friendly. A perfect 5-stars!

I love this place. The salads and toppings are always fresh and there are many choices. The sandwiches and soups are just okay which is why I gave 4 stars. I’m always sad when I go in and the place is almost empty. I would really hate to see this place go as it is a healthier option when dinning out. The staff is always nice and very helpful.

It’s just keeps getting worse. Again, I love the concept, but the execution is horrendous. Arrived a little after lunch time and the line was nearly out the door. I was like all, «Wow! Business is booming» which was a surprise to me. As I waited in the same length of line for nearly 15 minutes with it moving at a pace snails would mock I realized that the line was long because the everything was moving soooo sloooooow. The line was backed up at the grill station for most of it but they had two young ladies putting salad together, one young lady and a manager at the register, and only one person on the grill. The lady on the grill was working her tail off. I mean she needs a raise type of working but everyone else was watching her. Even the manager who was doing nothing but talking on her cell phone in front of guests was doing nothing but that. Any way we got through the line and I was still just very underwhelmed with the food. Plain, boring, and uninspired.

Plenty of seating. Clean. Essentially, you select from a number of salad types. All are made fresh. I had the Buffalo Blue chicken salad. Or, you can design your own. Lots to choose from. Looking at the menu beforehand might be helpful. I’ll go back.

1st time here. Awesome food. Had a check in special for a free drink which was great. Very open and lots of windows for natural lighting. I got out for 8 bucks but average probably around 10 dollars. Will certainly be back for the nice staff.

Really good. First time here. Didn’t know what to expect. Everything was fresh. Everyone was nice. Presentation was good. Options were plenty. I would say there is nothing here you can’t get at a regular restaurant but that doesn’t really say what they do. They have more salad options than you get at a regular restaurant. They make it in front of you and do it quicker than a typical restaurant. There isn’t a waiter but you don’t need it. Noon it starts to get busy so if you can get to it a little early you’ll be better off. Easy to eat Gluten free. You can make your own and pick and choose your ingredients through a glass where a friendly person puts your salad together for you. Lots of protein options. Lots of fresh stuff. If you like salads, this place ain’t bad.

My fiancé and I went for a late dinner on June 3rd, 2015. The service was very slow whicb was strange considering we were the only people in the entire restaurant. He ordered the Bentley and was terribly underwhelmed seeing as how he could have made the same salad with more toppings, for far cheaper at home. I ordered the veggie platter with rice and soup. It came with 2 pieces of mushroom, one slice of red pepper, and 2 small chunks or zucchini, none of which were cooked all the way and we’re still cold in the middle. The rice had no flavor whatsoever and was still crunchy. The only thing worth eating was the cup soup, which was not worth the $ 10 I paid for the platter. We will definitely not be coming back.

Went to Saladworks on May 14th after 6pm. The restaurant was empty when we arrived but had a nice steady stream of customers within 25mins of being there. I wanted soup and half salad but they ran out of their broccoli cheese soup. So I got a caprese panini and half caesar salad with added bacon, eggs, and red onions. Both were very tasty. The only thing that would have made it better is a warmer to keep my sandwich warm as I ate my salad. I also like that the food is served on real plates with metal utensils. It’s just a nice touch. But I have to warn you, the salads are BIG. Even my half salad was a lot for one person. I would and will be returning.

We ate here for the first time tonight. Now, I am always looking for healthy places to eat because I follow a strict nutrition plan, and I eat a lot of salads. I got a Carver Cobb salad with green goddess dressing and it was delicious. Very filling. I did not take the roll that was offered as I don’t eat bread. It’s like a fast food restaurant for salads. Clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They also do catering. We got the feeling that not too many people know of this place yet. When we arrived, there was only one other couple there. But, by the time we got our food and began to eat, there were quite a few other patrons. If you’re looking for a healthy alternative to the fast food fare, this is the place to go.

The buffalo bleu is delicious! My first time here and I will surely be back. The salad had buffalo chicken, tortilla strips, tomatoes, red onion and carrots with their specialty chunky bleu salad dressing. It was awesome!

I really enjoyed my first Saladworks experience! I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad without eggs. I was allowed to add something in place of the eggs, so I chose bacon. I chose the whole wheat roll and a bottled water. The salad was big enough to fill me up for the rest of the evening! There was a ton of chicken and crunchy bacon to add flavor to the dressing. I will definitely return again. It really wasn’t a bad deal for $ 11!

I was in the mood to eat healhty for lunch so my friend and I decided to have lunch here. It was our frist time so we were exicted to try something new. its set up like a subway where they make the salad and mix it in front of you. I had the steak cobb salad with an avacado vingerette. They did have a wide variety of dressings to choose from. I even got a side of the green goddess dressing to sample. The portion was huge and you also got your choice of bread for a side. It was a lil pricy., I think I would have prefered a smaller salad for a smaller price. After a while it did get kinda boring just eating salad. but at least it was a good one!!!

A Chipotle or Subway for salads. It just isn’t as much fun. When you order a make it yourself salad, you are limited to the amount of ingredients, 5 or 8. I would prefer a make it yourself salad and priced by weight so you can pick a little of a lot of items. The protein options really looked dry and unappealing. I did not put any meat on my salad. Frankly the salad bar at any grocery store looks just as good. I liked the variety of soups offered. I opted for the Italian Wedding Soup. It had good flavors but was a tad too salty for me. I will come back, but I won’t go out of my way.

I’ll pass next time. They are STINGY with toppings, especially meat! The ingredients seemed fresh enough, but c’mon bro. I got a half salad(pick 5 toppings, not including the *signature meats* which were an additional $ 3.99 or something) and half soup. A very meager serving of lukewarm tomato bisque. $ 8.50 plus $ 2 for a drink. PLUS there were some rogue boiled egg bits mixed in my cheese! YUCK! Just not a great deal for what I received… But I WILL give kudos for the salad dressing– they are made in-house and the calorie content is displayed. I had the tangy salsa ranch and it was soooo good. Nice space, but somewhat pushy/disengaged employees, mediocre food… Wah wah. Miso sad.

I was excited about having a restaurant in town dedicated to salad/soup so we stopped in to give it a try. The facility was clean and mildly inviting but unfortunately my hopes for a good experience ended there. My biggest disappointment was the inability to control the portion size. I tend to be a light eater(please note that this in no way means I am a small person!) so I normally order a half salad or a kid/senior portion. Here you have the ability to order a half salad but you must also include soup which amounts to more food(and more $) than I can eat. I also felt that I was treated in a rude manner by the young lady taking my order. This was suprising given that this is a new restaurant and one that presumably will depend on a good customer experience to bring patrons in. For example I ordered a salad with candied pecans and once my salad was otherwise assembled I was informed that there were no candied pecans and I would have to choose from plain walnuts or another nut. Another server listening in said that she would be willing to go check to see if the pecans were out of the oven but my server informed her that no, I would just have to choose what from what she had offered. Strange choice on her part to decline the offer and unfortunate as well. The lettuce and other veggies were very fresh. The apples were well soaked in lemon juice so very tart. The proteins for the most part are very processed meats, but some of the salads do have some fresher choices. Prices start around $ 8 and go up to $ 12 for a standard salad.

Sometimes you just have to eat your greens, and some nicely cooked protein mixed in doesn’t hurt — but this isn’t really the place for that to happen, unfortunately. The concept is nice, it is the execution that is rather disappointing, and the freshness of some items, especially the meat items like chicken, turkey, and bacon — the bacon is described as «crispy», but is not. The setup is similar to subway — you go down a line, the salad items are laid out in front of you, behind glass, and you tell them what you want, and they put it together. You can build your own, or choose one of their speicalty salads, examples of which are displayed for you. Cost is going to run in the $ 8 — $ 12 range, depending mostly on your protein choices. You do get a roll with the salad. We tried the Bently($ 8.29) and the Cobb($ 8.79), and where underwhelmed with each, and with just about every aspect — amount of non-green items, freshness of those items, and the salad dressings — doesn’t leave much else since we passed on the rolls. The proportion of lettuce mix to veggies and meat was quite different from that in the«posed» specialty salads in the case — much more green, much less lean in our salads. The one common element of the meats was that they were cold(icebox cold), and definitely lacked freshness. We tried 2 salad dressings — Blue Cheese(described as «Chunky», but was not) and Ranch, and have purchased much better off a grocery shelf. Will not be back — no need to. Much better is available(Tripp’s Chef Salad will easily feed 2 for $ 9.49, with bread, and you can build a better, cheaper salad at Harris Teeter’s salad bar), and at a better value. Greensboro is a chain restaurant town, but this one might have trouble gaining traction.
