I had the wonderful experience of being introduced to the fabulous warm and talented hairdresser Lena. I traveled from Yonkers to Brooklyn over two bridges and it was so worth the drive. She uses great products and is very focused on you while your there. The neighborhood is so wonderful we had a great lunch and went to an unbelievable bakery. I’ll be there every 4 weeks.

Amazing salon! I went in last minute for a wedding updo and the hairstylist Lena was great. She knew exactly what I wanted and my hair looks like the photos I showed her. Very impressed and would highly recommend this place!

Had an amazing experience, got my hair died without any damage, and my eye brows threaded as well. I came into the salon with very dry damaged hair and they kept the integrity of my hair and left it in great condition, used high quality products. My eye brows came out amazing as well, probably the best thread threading job I have ever had. Lena really took good care of me!

Great place I’ve been coming here for 10 years+ and it never disappoints. Tell them or show them exactly what you want and they deliver guaranteed. My haircut is somewhat complicated and I’ve tried other places but they never seem to get it right, but I can count Beverly Hills salons to always get it perfect.

We love this salon! Originally came here because our friend worked here. We live far away in Brooklyn but won’t go anywhere else for a cut. Lena is great for adults and children as well. The shop is very friendly. Very reasonable prices. Easy access to transportation. I love this place its awesome.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years they treat me like family. They do a great job on my haircut and also beard. I see them work on other people and they treat everyone as if they are the most important people in the world. I actually travel almost 2 hours to get here. This is one of the few places that I would get my haircut. The prices are extremely reasonable. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants a great haircut hair color for anything that has to do with looking good.

Being made to wait while all polish people get their haircut and sit around gossiping is rediculous. Once finally in the chair though, the haircut was the fastest ever. I liked the haircut and will be back. I just need to learn how to say«Don’t forget about me» in polish.

The man and his wife that run this establishment are very nice. I never get haircuts, but I have stopped in here on occasion to buy things, so much so that they know me enough to have bought physical restraints(for each other to use when work is finished) after being inspired by me one day. If I ever have to buy hair cleansing products of salon quality, this is where I’d go.

OHHELLNO! So I popped in to get a quick eyebrow/lip wax(yeah boys!) and after trying to persuade me to get that shit threaded, they sat me in a chair facing the street, next to all the customers getting their hair done. Needless to say, I was a teensy bit embarrassed to be getting my eyebrows and stache waxed next to a strapping young Polish fellow. Eyebrows were done well, she took her time and paid attention to detail. I will give her that. She was quite nice to boot. But then came the stache. She smeared the wax on my lips, redipped, then as she was going to finish up, a huge and stringy hot glob of the stuff fell from the tongue depressor and all over my neck, shirt, and face. After laboriously apply wax removal stuff to my skin and shirt, she proclaimed I was clean. I was a little peeved that she didn’t offer me some kind of discount, but I forked over the $ 15.00 plus tip, and left. Got some matches from the corner store, got a tea at Starbucks. Went to the bathroom. I look in the mirror. And there is still wax all over my face. I look like I have a fucking goatee, and the dirt in the air has clung to said wax so it’s a nice, dark grey goatee. I CANNOT believe that she told me my face was clean. I get that shit off as well as I can. And I reach back to fix my hair. WAX! INTHEHAIR! EVERYWHERE! fuq that. i don’t care if it’s a family owned small business. i’m never going to return. Step it up, Beverly Hills!

i’ve been getting my hair cut here for about 5 years and I’ve had good cuts and not so good cuts(but mostly good). Lena is the only hair stylist you should use there and be clear about what you want. Cheap but good value.

I went here after finding one of my fave stylists ever, and then moving away. Shain, move to NYC! This was possibly the most traumatizing haircut I’ve ever had. Lena’s «chairside manner,» as it were, was lacking. I introduced myself, and she barely asked what I wanted. Then away she went, hacking off my hair with those scary, misleading texturizing shears. When she was done, she asked if I wanted it dried. Wtf?! Of course I do! I was in and out of the chair in less than 15 minutes and I think she couldn’t have cared less about the business. Maybe she was too distracted by answering her cell phone in the middle of the cut and checking the temperature of the baby bottles? They have a surcharge for credit cards(unposted as far as I could tell). I walked out of there with a ‘do that doesn’t look like I cut it with dull kitchen scissors after a couple of drinks, so that’s something. But I can’t tell you how much I needed some ice cream and a stiff drink after gripping my hands together so tightly during that cut. Needless to say, my search for a good quality, decently priced haircut will continue. I can’t wait until my hair is ready for some more pleasant plastic-gowned treatment! But then again, what do you want for $ 15?

After trying to save a few bucks by going to the Aveda Institute in Manhattan only to have a student color my hair red?!, I stumbled upon the family-owned Beverly Hills Unisex Salon in Greenpoint. They brought my hair back to normal by re-doing my highlights. Lena,(currently on maternity leave) spent over 2 hours on my hair, which should give you an idea of how thorough she was. After washing my hair, she insisted on blowing it out for me. When all was said and done I walked out of there for $ 90(cash). I love what Lena did and will definitely go back!
