After the first bite of what I believe is to be a typical cheese slice I have to admit that I was astounded. The cheese tasted natural and you can taste the tomatoes and SEE IT. The pizza was busting with flavor. I realized why this was $ 3.00 each, it was worth every penny.

Out running errands, my husband and j stopped in for a quick slice of pizza.
The place itself is unassuming but the intoxicating smell of pizza pulled us in, super hungry of course!
We each ordered one slice of sausage and cheese. It was very filling but I thought a little pricy per slice.
We also split an order of garlic knots which were totally on point and cheap.
Great little spot for a quick slice of pizza. We will definitely return but I will say there is so much pizza to try in this city that it may be a little while before I get back!

Don’t usually write reviews but I was just all around disappointed. I wanted a quick slice and it was $ 3 for a plain. He heated it up way too much because he was distracted watching tv. It took ten minutes outside before I could bite into it. And when I did, the cheese was WAY TO STRINGY

Stopped in Brooklyn on a family road trip and wanted some authentic NY pizza. Found it! The pie was a huge 18″ and the crust was perfect. Not too thin or thick, toppings plentiful with lots of cheese. Also tried calzones which were packed with toppings, mozzarella and ricotta. The salad with grilled chicken was loaded with chicken cooked perfectly. We had leftovers that were happily enjoyed on the road later in the day. Hope to get back here again!

I’m a 19+ year NYC resident and a total pizza addict. I get the shakes if I don’t ‘have a slice every week.
You’ve probably passed this place many times without noticing it — it’s literally a hole in the wall on a somewhat monotonous stretch of Manhattan Avenue.
I think it’s the best old school by-​the-​slice pizza joint in Greenpoint. Especially the Grandma slice, holy crap that’s addictive. Only wish they delivered, but still totally worth the schlep!!!

I’ve been coming to this pizzeria since I was little. I looove this place. Such a variety of toppings on all the pizzas! There’s almost always something new they dish out every week or so. This is by far my favorite place to grab a slice on Manhattan Ave.

Really great Sicilian and one of the best salad slices. From the moment you walk into this pizzeria you are met with the greatest aroma of fresh garlic and pizza’s baking in the oven.
The crust is crisp, tomato sauce delicious, and the mozzarella magnificent. Don’t walk… run!

I’ve been going here for a couple years. It’s always good. One time I forgot my wallet and he was like «whatever, dude, just take it»
Today I felt compelled to give them 5 stars cause I tried their new pizza: Honey Mustard Chicken and Bacon… woahhhhhh! It was great. All their pizza is good, taco, Sicilian, buff chix, it’s all great. But that honey mustard blew my mind.
I guess they’ve been in that spot since the 50s, I hope they’re always there.

The slices never fail me. This is my favorite place in Greenpoint. Fresh ingredients, amazing quality. I also go in for a chat cause the people working there are just great.
They also make amazing specialty pizzas. On occasion they make a grilled chicken, roasted red pepper, fresh mozzarella and pesto stuffed into a pie crust with garlic. One slice of it is a full course meal.
There are other great pizza places to eat around here but all around, this is the best by far.
