Great coffee and even better pastries. They have the best chocolate chip cookies ever and in the summer the coconut ice coffee is amazing. Also, far away from Main St you don’t run into so much of the riff raff.

Received two bags of their whole-bean coffee from a friend. The Chocolate Raspberry was good, but the Toasted Coconut was divine. I carefully rationed over a few months, and was truly bummed when I reached the end of the bag. The flavor is complex, rich and nicely infused in the beans. I’m now convinced that flavored coffees are worth trying.

I like it, it’s homey but not in a bad way. feels like your aunts house, they put them all into really random spaces too and don’t seem to change the buildings around too much which is also kinda cool. like 8 types of hot/cold coffee ready to go, and that day old bin is a pretty good deal. I go to the federal st one in greenfield, partially because it’s the closest shop to me, but also i enjoy the quality and price being in between say greenfield coffee and dunkin. plus it’s a local chain so I feel good knowing(hoping?) more money goes into the community than a national chain. only complaint(because what’s a review without one) is sometimes it takes a little long to get an iced coffee and the register people seem to be occupied by their phones while the barista is getting backed up.

This little shop is a good place to get«to-go» coffee. The coffee itself is very good, and so I come here often on my way to work. The baked goods are very good. I am making myself not buy them for a while in the quest to not gain weight. One thing that I have noticed is that there are experienced employees behind the counter and then there are very inexperienced employees. Those who are experienced can make your experience wonderful; the inexperienced employees don’t seem to be interested in providing quality customer service. I would recommend to the management that additional«customer service» training be provided to these young people. I also think that the in-house dining furniture could be greatly improved, probably quite inexpensively. I usually get my order to-go, but today made arrangements to spend an hour here while waiting for someone to meet me. The little table is so rikety that my coffee immediately spilled all over the place.(That’s the coffee that was for here but served in a to-go cup anyway – when I pointed this out the young woman behind the counter couldn’t have been less interested.) Spending a small amount of money on two more stable tables would make the place more conducive to eating in.

A delightful helping of Vermont charm on the road back to NYC. Loved the baked goods and freshly brewed Americanos.

Décor is a little beat up, but otherwise excellence food all around. I especially enjoyed the nostalgia of hearing Bing Crosby Christmas tunes this morning.

Those who follow me on Unilocal know I have an unhealthy daily ritual at DD. Today, I decided to change my routine and get a morning pick-me-up at a local coffee shop, as opposed to a corporate chain. Parking is a pain, as same-side street parking was impossibly full for about 2 – 3 blocks; no parking in other business’ lots nearby. Opted to park across the street and down a little way(metered parking, but got away with being there for 10 minutes or so). Inside, the quaint and cozy ambiance is almost enough to make you change your AM routine permanently: there’s comfy upholstered chairs and a menagerie of mix-and-match tables and chairs. It is very small, and with 10 people in the building, begins to feel claustrophobic. I ordered a hot chai tea latte($ 3 and change) and a chocolate croissant($ 3~). As I waited for my drink, I kept having to move around to accommodate the flow of traffic. I had no idea that the«drink window» was actually in the room adjacent, a good tip for first timers. All in all, I waited probably 5 minutes for my drink, and 3 – 4 minutes to order. The chocolate croissant made with dark chocolate was delicious: not too sweet, not too bitter. The chai latte is nice and spicy, like I prefer it. However, spending over $ 7(including a 10% tip I felt obligated to leave since they use Square, and it prompts you) for a hot drink and pastry is a bit absurd. Although I can’t get tea or chai lattes at DD(I don’t think), a medium hot coffee and a «gourmet» donut/pastry would only cost me $ 4, maybe even less. So to sum up, Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters is a great small business that puts out a better-quality product. However, the price tag, along with the inconvenience of extended waiting and the parking issue, puts SFCR behind DD for everyday coffee and breakfast fixes for me personally. But a weekend stop? I’d recommend it over anyplace else.

Stopped by here to kill some time the other day. I had one of the seasonal drinks(chai something? I think) which was delicious, and a breakfast sandwich. It was home-y and comfortable, good place to read a book and hang out.

Wonderful café in the middle of Greenfield. Great staff, excellent coffee and solid baked goods. Comfortable indoor seating as well. And open at 7am on a Sunday! :) Would be hard to beat in this area.

Horrible service. Had to wait 35 minutes for the drip coffee I wanted. Was told it would only take a couple of minutes when purchased. I tried to get my refund after waiting 30 minutes but was told no one could do that. Finally got the coffee I ordered. I sure am glad this is not my local coffee shop. Ended up at Greenfield Coffee shop and they were leaps and bounds better then this shop.

Points for almond milk! But bummer, the latte just didn’t taste good, and it wasn’t full when I received it from the barista. I pointed this out and he said, «I know…» with a stymied look on his face, like – how did that happen? I had to ask him to top it off. There is a thick, sweet smell to the shop from flavored beans. I don’t like that smell, but others might. Not a ton of seating but more food and drink options than Greenfield Coffee down the street.

I stopped in here my first morning in Greenfield for a cup of hot coffee. It was a cool, rainy Autumn morning out, perfect for hot coffee! I saw the signs for Pumpkin spice coffee — and decided to go with that. I am glad I did — it was really good! They also offer espresso drinks of all kinds, as well as some baked good, breakfast sandwiches, and more. Service was prompt and friendly! Cool place!

A throwback to some kind of 90s coffeeshop of yore.(«quirky décor», flavored coffee beans, etc.) I have never gotten a satisfying coffee beverage here, though I have tried. Self-serve drip in airpots, no 8-ounce options, and Very Milky and Very Bitter things coming from the espresso counter. In a pinch, I will purchase beans, but only in a pinch.

Edie makes the best Maple Lattes. The scones are tasty. I also enjoy their iced coconut coffee and their iced mochas. The line can often be long, but the staff is friendly. Use the Perka app to earn a free drink for every 10 you purchase. The maple nut beans are great for home brewing!

Today I decided to branch out and try this little coffee shop out. This was a great choice because their French Vanilla iced coffee is delicious. They had an incredible selection of pastries, bagels, and chocolates. I got a Hadley breakfast sandwich on an Asiago bagel and thought it was phenomenal! The staff was extremely polite. And the atmosphere was great! They had some great oldies playing on the radio, and the employees were singing along as they worked. The other cool thing about this shop is that they have this interesting card system for frequent customers. They tape their cards to the wall which I thought was great. The only downside to the shop is that it has limited street parking, which made it difficult during the rush this morning.

I love that they use fairtrade. Their coffee is amazing and so ate their breakfast sandwichs. Best of all they are priced right.

Nothing to get excited about. Still stuck in the era of burnt beans masked by liberal doses or hazelnut or vanilla flavor, which greet you when you walk in. Keep driving unless desperate. At least it is an independent small biz, hence the second star.

I LOVE their coffee. It is my absolute favorite place in Greenfield(or the surrounding area) to get coffee. I’m in there a few times a week to treat myself to a daily special latte or a green iced tea. They have a rewards card for individual drinks and for pounds of coffee(I love their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe). I am not giving it 5 stars, for a few reasons. The coffee tastes amazing, but they don’t do special latte art on it(I guess I was spoiled in DC). For my vegan friends: they have soy milk available(for an extra thirty cents per drink), but no baked goods as far as I’ve seen. They have bagels with peanut butter if you like that sort of thing.

Cute little place. My dad and I had taken a little walk and ended up here. Perfect stop after a walk on a crisp fall day. We both just got coffees. You pay, they give you a cup and you can pick from about 6 or so different roasts. It’s nice because you can mix and match. Regular with a flavor. They have fancier drinks — lattes, cappuccinos, etc. Also pastries. Nice place.
