Ly Ly Nails and Spa

I have been here a few times, with so/​so service — but it’s convenient so I return because I haven’t had a terrible experience yet. Until this time. The men who work there are rude and not very good at what they do. When I am paying $ 60+ for a shellac manicure/​pedi, I expect at least good service. My last time there (and it will be my last time), I had a set of acrylic nails on and wanted a take off. The male manicurist took my nails off with a fake nail and broke two of my long natural nails off, without even saying a word about it or asking if he could fix it somehow. He was very quick with my pedicure not doing a very thorough job at all or getting my dead skin off. After all was said and done, I am not happy time and time again. This time took the cake and I will not be returning. Treat your customers better and you’ll have a better chance of them returning…

Against my better judgement, I went here to get a quick last minute shellac for the weekend. I have not been here in years, due to the horrible reviews they receive but I thought I’d give it another chance. I have 3 children and work full time so in the rare occasion that I get to do something for myself, I would like it to be an enjoyable experience. Well this was anything but enjoyable. The nail tech had a really bad cold, which I did not realize until we were half way into my manicure. She kept wiping her snot on the back of her hand. I was completely disgusted by this and felt stuck. I feel bad that maybe she had no choice but to come to work even though she was sick but it’s really gross to continue to wipe snot in your hand and you hold my hands to paint my nails. I will never be back!!!

I had an absolute horribly experience here it took over 3 hours to get a full set n pedicure an my full set looked like a 12 put them on, it was also my birthday am I had gift certificate an was still charged. Needless to say this place is the bottom of the barrel along with two of the young nail techs had such vulgar an rude language that I had to put headphones on, mind you there was children running around. Please do not go there. You will leave in tears and dissapointment

My gf goes here and she is always disappointed ! They don’t practice patiences or care about getting the shape right. They don’t have prices posted and they should fire the little older lady, she is rude and does what she wants instead of catering to the customer. Any suggestions for a better salon?

Since when did it become professional to drink alcoholic beverages while performing services? The technician was not even trying to hide it. When I asked her about it, she didn’t respond but grabbed the drink and finished it in the break room before trying to come back and do my nails. I got up and walked out. The gentleman who I believe to be the owner sat back and did nothing. I am also pretty sure that they could loose their establishment license for this. I will definitively be looking into that. Will never return and will tell EVERYONE I know.

I just moved to Milwaukee from the West Coast and I used to get my nails done every 2 weeks for 5 years straight and I’ve noticed that it’s an on going trend out here to over charge for pedi/​anything nails and provide below average nail quality shape, paint, design. I really am so sad that after trying a handful of different salons I still can’t find a place that is great. I thought this location was going to be my it spot for regular nail care (looked clean, nice staff, good prices), until the technician was focused on multitasking and cut my cuticles up and first cut with blood he added bond to a napkin and stopped the cut, second time he grabbed for the bond and DIRECTLY placed it on my OPEN CUT!!! I immediately panicked because who knows how many times that has been done!!! Anyone can catch a fungus, infection, hepatitis, aids!!! I told him and he told me not to worry it’s a new bottle (ugh who cares, that was soooo wrong). To say I’m grossed out and scared would be putting it politely. That was the most alarming of all situations, but also my nail shape Oval with Gel Acrylic is also not good. Some nails are doing a side lean and have little black hairs on them since he decided it will be fine, that’s how I was sent home. I paid with CC and I couldn’t tip on the card since he said I would have to first inform him before running it. Was I supposed to mind read and know that ahead of time? (He knew I was a first time guest, he should have told me). I always tip 30% of my nail tab, but not today since not only was it NOT an option on CC, but also no cash with me. Just overall disappointed, because I had high hopes for this new place.

This place is newer and absolutely fantastic. Very pleasant staff and one of the best pedicures I’ve had in a long time. I recommend the pearl spa pedicure. They do not rush you and there’s complimentary soda or water.
