Shoes. Aisles upon aisles of shoes. And boots. And sandals. Oh my!
The hubs and I are THE WORST shoe shoppers. We can never find that perfect combo of price and quality, leaving us roaming the fine Milwaukee area with holes and flaps and all sorts of shoe-​related oddities.
Alas — twas upon the utterance of «might as well try…» that we discovered DSW in all of its glory.
The place is BIG but not overwhelming. I liked that the aisles were wide and you could clearly scope your style type. And the salespeople are friendly but not suffocating. I dig that.
Prices range from high to average, with the quality aligning nicely. I was pleasantly surprised that there is a consumable amount of variety too. Like the place is big, but I didn’t want to see hundreds of pairs of brown boots, you know?
But guys. Go upstairs. Take the flight of stairs to shoe heaven. Find quality options at prices that will make your heart space sing.

If you’re looking for shoes at a good price, this is the place to go. If you want a specific type of shoe, this is the place to go. They have amazing prices and almost every type of shoe you could imagine.

What’s not to love about a store that’s the mecca of shoes! ;)
Get on their rewards/​mailing list and you will get coupons for money off or free gift w purchase offers.
My only real complaint here is that the prices are rather inflated. For that it gets 4 stars instead of 5. And I really didn’t see that many shoes that I wanted to buy… strange. Oh well, maybe next time it will be better and for now I am still glad there’s a DSW closer to me! :)
