A group of co-workers and I ate here during our break from a conference held in the hotel. We thought it’d be quicker than going elsewhere but if definitely wasn’t. Having worked in restaurants, I understand the servers and kitchen got slammed when the conference broke for lunch but I’m also pretty sure it wasn’t the hotel’s first rodeo. The kitchen should’ve been better staffed for the lunch rush. We waited almost an hour for our food and had to wolf it down to get back for the second half. Despite that, our server June was pretty nice and did her best, even doing separate checks for five people. The lunch fare and prices were comparable to an average chain’s menu. They have a «lunch on the run» menu that’s $ 10 including a drink and can be ordered for dine-in. I got the turkey burger and it was nothing special. The patty had a nice char but was otherwise bland. The guac and jack cheese helped and I was glad it came with a wheat bun. The fries were average, though they appeared to be freshly made. If you have time or are staying in the hotel, the food is worth a shot. If you’re stuck at a work event like me, you’re better off heading to the nearest drive thru.
