Mostly due to the unprofessionalism and dishonesty around the shuttle service. Walked back — I don’t mind the walk — but many people wouldn’t have.

Very nice hotel right by the airport. We only heard 2 planes, and that was before going to bed. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and check-in was quick. We did not find it very hard to find. There were free shuttles available to the airport as well. Everything about our stay was wonderful, including the breakfast and comfortable beds, but make sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner… either they did not put it in our room, or they do not provide it(we had brought our own and therefore did not need to ask). Look for deals on Expedia. Will definitely stay here again if we come to Green Bay.

Pretty nice place! It’s worth the $ 70 I paid for the room via Expedia :)

I booked this hotel through a third party website for a great deal when I needed to stay in GB a night for work. As another reviewer said, it is VERY hard to find. I was REALLY disappointed when I saw it was literally right next to the airport. However, I only heard one plane my entire stay there, before I even went to bed. Check in was quick and efficient. They were having some sort of happy hour when I got there of which I did not partake, but looked like they had Leine’s and Miller on tap, and snacks. Room was very spacious. Medium sized flat screen TV. Bed was comfortable. Microwave and fridge which was great. Bathroom had granite countertops, clean, large shower, and lots of nice towels. Free wi-fi was great! I recently stayed at a four star hotel in Milwaukee, and I would say this room was nicer.

i stayed here spur of the moment after i found out the radisson across the street was ridiculously priced. this place was amazing! easy check in process and the front desk staff was helpful and knowledgeable. we had a problem with our room and were upgraded for free to a nicer room. there is free continental breakfast in the morning that includes hot food, free happy hour with adult beverages in the evenings, and fresh baked cookies at the front desk. theres also a free shuttle to the casino across the street. all in all this hotel offers a great place to stay and i would recommend it if youre in the area.

The previous reviewer was way too hard on this motel. It’s a great place to unwind after an international trip or to prepare for an early flight. The front-desk staff is superb, friendly and helpful. I really think the Unilocal staff should monitor review like the one posted by Alex N, who not only was insulting but vulgar. I’m not a Wingate employee, but this hotel tries hard and deserves better.

Gah I hate Wingate hotels, especially when you can literally walk from the airport to it’s front door in less than 3 minutes. Furthermore, their airport shuttle doesn’t even run past 10 pm, to the airport, that’s less that 3 minutes of walking distance. Which doesn’t sound like all that big of a deal unless you realize you’re in Green Bay, in February and it’s snowing and you’ve got around 50 lbs of bags for whatever reason. So, Fuck you Wingate. The redeeming quality to this hotel was the very gentlemanly front desk fellow that checked us in around midnight and was happy to offer the limited services his«quaint» hotel provided. From my understanding he was working alone in the middle of nowhere at a shitty hotel and to his unending credit he was incredibly great! To add to the shit heap that is this place, they fire up the vacuums at an inhumane 7 am and start pounding on your door the moment checkout is supposed to have happened. I basically stay in hotels for a living and have never experienced such an awful housecleaning experience and have never been hassled about not vacating my room withing 5 minutes of checkout(literally). Again another redeeming quality is the apologetics of the front desk gal who felt genuinely bad about the whole vacuuming and door pounding experience. Oh well, whatever, never again if I can help it.
