Standing Stone Gourmet Buffet is NO longer there. It’s now a low end sub, pizza, burger, chicken etc. establishment. I’ve been there twice and they’re SLOW, and both times managed to get the order wrong.

This is definitely not your Vegas style buffet, but remind yourself you are in Green Bay paying $ 15. The staff and waitress were top notch. My plates were cleared and drinks were filled without asking. I felt like I had plenty of attention which sometimes can be hard when you are dining alone. There were maybe 4 or 5 different sections ranging from American to Asian. The food was par for the course, everything you would expect from a buffet. The main things that really stood out were the pizzas and desert area. The pizzas are cooked in a brick oven and were mighty tasty. The desert section was hosted by two people and had a made to order ice cream bar with a lot of toppings along with different pies, cakes and cobblers. I left full and happy. Over all I would go back again and I thought the price was pretty reasonable.

Overpriced and bad ethnic food! This buffet was located in my hotel and their ad said that the buffet featured an array of ethnic food including Asian. By far the worst Asian food I’ve ever had! The fried rice was overcooked and the whole four dishes they had were all disappointing. On top of it, the other ethnic food, including Italian and Mexican, was mostly dry and also overcooked. The beef in the fajitas was so dry that shoe leather is what I’d compare it too and apparently these chefs don’t know that you should marinate meat.
