Restaurant is always packed! Takes a little while to be seated, but the food is worth the wait! I recommend that you trying the stuffed hash browns :-)

I enjoy going to the Pancake Place, the food is fantastic and today for the first time I tried the Stuffed French Toast, it was the best I have ever had. The staff is always helpful and they never have said«we can’t do that» they are willing to make whatever accommodations I need to accommodate my special diet

The pancakes were good but the service was sorta out of it. Once i dropped my fork on the ground so my sister had me pick it up and get a new one, so i approached the two ladies by the silverware trays and it took them a few minutes just to realize what i was asking for.

I’ve eaten here twice now. And the food has been amazing both times. Far too much food for one person to actually eat in one sitting, at least for the folks at our table.

We really enjoy the Pancake place. It can get very busy if you are there during peak hours like after church on a Sunday, but their chicken noodle soup is so good, and they don’t just have pancakes, they have all kinds of delicious things to eat. There is something good for everyone. Great for families, couples, to take your friends or family from out of town. We like it very much.

Great breakfast spot! So glad we gave this place a try. It was quite busy on a Monday at 10AM. We tried the stuffed hash browns, they were fantastic. I had an Italian omelette, simple and very well done. The service was spot on. I would highly recommend this place for a great classic country style breakfast and an incredible selection on the menu.

Busy. Larger portions that is reasonably priced. Family diner type. Large variety of Home cooked meal choices. One of Green Bay’s favored and iconic restaurants. Great job!

Trying to keep this place in perspective as a diner. Our table was not clean and it’s really dated inside. Food was fine and the pancakes are as big as the plate. They bring a large tub of whipped butter and I’m trying to figure out how they reserve it to other people as we double dipped in it several times and hardly made a dent in it. Kind of gross if you think about it. They have won many awards but the food doesn’t seem to live up to it. Would I go back? Only if Perkins or IHOP is closed.

This place is a must everytime we go to Green Bay for anything. An amazing breakfast. Gotta try the stuffed hash browns. The meals are huge too. If you don’t get filled up eating these stuffed hash browns, nothing will do it. Good price. It is a very popular place and if you don’t go early, you may have to wait. Last time we went there was a 20 minute wait, but we stayed because it’s worth it. Service is usually very fast anyways.

Well we like the food but place is dirty. Carpet gross! Dish boy comes in PJ’S apron filthy. Dirty cart with dishes and you have to look at that while your eating. Waitresses very good. Best breakfast. Salads to bland. Food sometimes cold. We do not go as often due to dirty floor and salads but soup is good if hot.

Disappointed. We were there on a busy day, but the service was unbelievably bad. I mean, it was laughable. We were constantly flagging people down just to get water. Our server barely even noticed we were there. The food was just diner food~ absolutely nothing special and the wait was for.ever. They told us 20, it was closer to 40. Don’t think we’ll visit next time we come to town for a game.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and knew that it had to be awesome by how packed out it was. The wait wasn’t too bad, and was well worth it. I got a «half» order of corned beef and hash stuffed hash browns. This item wasn’t on the menu, but they had no problem making it. It was delicious and all that I could have hoped for. Even as a «half» order, I barely put a dent in it… it was huge! Also got a strawberry special pancake. This was honestly the thickest pancake I have ever seen. Again, I barely even put a dent in it. The service was great. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was obvious they putting customers first is a priority for them. Definitely a must stop breakfast destination!

Now under new management, this restaurant is past its hey-day and is in decline. My last visit will be my last. The service, from beginning to end, was inexcusably slow. My food, and that of my dining partner, arrived mostly cold(hot sandwich, cold fries). The same with the other food brought to the table. I’d give this a 2 star rating, but — in its prime– this was a 5 star joint. Sad to see it in its present condition.

Best breakfast place in Green Bay, hands down. You’ll always have a wait on the weekends, but it’s never been too bad for me. The prices are super-reasonable and the portions are gigantic. Everything’s good, not just the pancakes, and I’ve always had great service, too!

They have certainly earned their Best Of Green Bay titles. Phenomenal pancakes, French toast, and hash browns. If you’re in town, do stop in!

Second visit in two days… This is a humble neighborhood pancake joint with an expansive menu, damn good coffee, and some of the best hash browns I’ve had in a long time. Girlfriend had corned beef and hash yesterday — thought it was delicious and generously portioned — and I had the hearty breakfast(eggs, hash browns, meat and toast) which was a bit more than I could pack away in one sitting, though it was tasty. Today we chose the Mediterranean eggs Benedict and the Sir Hearty(Benedict was delicious, but the Sir Hearty came with a ground sirloin instead of what we were expecting). Service was still prompt and overall we’re still pleased with everything. Leaving it at a 4 because although food was excellent the service is a little meh and the ambiance is a bit dated. Still worth a visit, though.

Found this place on Unilocal while visiting Green Bay from Florida. Didn’t want McDonald’s or any other fast food. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 1 kid. We ordered: 1. The special pancake(red white and blue) with one egg and toast. 2. Cherry pancake and hash browns. 3. Pancake and porky. Portions were huge — could only eat ½ of the pancake. Everyone loved what they got. When the bill came, we were shocked — all of this for $ 19.92!!! Wasn’t the most updated place, but the food was fabulous and the prices couldn’t be beat, so no biggie!

Awesome pancakes! We ordered the Mexican omelette, Classic Stuffed hashbrowns, short stack pancakes, and coffee. The omelette was very good, fluffy eggs stuffed with taco meat, topped with sour cream, salsa, cheese, and black olives. It came with a side of potato(hashbrowns or american fries) and choice of blueberry muffin, toast or English muffin. I got the blueberry muffin, which was just your standard, convenience store, packaged muffin, not fresh. The stuffed hashbrowns were just a dish of hash browns on the bottom, cubed ham, green peppers, and onions, covered again with hashbrowns. Think if someone were to toss your skillet around and then plopped it on your dish, this is what you’d get. The ham was unremarkable, grocery store cube ham. I think next time I’d try the stuffed hashbrowns with the gravy on top. The pancakes are a real standout. As you can see in the picture, they are as big as the plates! They are served with huge portions of butter, cherry sauce, and strawberry sauce. However, the sauces are passable as they have no real flavor to them. There’s a sign on their wall that said they’ve won ’ Best Service Staff ’ award 5 years in a row. Or waitress, Shelley did a very nice job for dealing with two people who were in a hurry to get back on the road.
