I give this place a two star rating. The food wasn’t very good. Everything was just kind of blah. We also tried their in-house beer and that wasn’t very good. We all had different beers and they were all flat in flavor no matter what kind of beer we had. The only real positive was that our waiter was very friendly and very nice. She did a great job and was a very nice young woman.

Three stars because I feel this place could give a different experience of there is a return trip. Took about ten minutes before ordering a beer at the bar when there were only 7 other people there. Got menus and it took an additional 15 minutes before food arrived. Food: beer cheese soup is excellent, possibly the best I have had in the Green Bay/Appleton area. Had shrimp tacos, which were filling and fairly good given that I am in the Midwest. In a return trip, would likely try a sandwich or wrap. Drink: I had the amber and my coworker had a Dunkel and a Light beer(from their Brewery). He had issues with the Dunkel. My Amber was just a beer. Nothing special to make it stand out. This is not a bad thing. Atmosphere: lunch time at a place that is obviously set up to be more of a dinner or late afternoon destination. Service: given long wait times just to order, I wonder what was going on with all the extra employees. It actually took about ten minutes after eating to get the bartender to quit talking with a regular to come take the money. Overall, I think I would go back, but I am not going to make a special trip out of it.

I sometimes go here just for the french onion and beer cheese soup. Besides the wonderful soup options they have piping hot fries that are fantastic. The prices cannot be beat. The only reason for the lack of a star is the booths and tables are a bit worn down and the place can be hit or miss in regards to being dirty and service. I would still recommend stopping in if you want something a little above your average bar food.

Walked in to air conditioning set for kitchen workers not customers. Very cold. Nice place but food was sub par. Black Forrest sandwich was served with grey colored ham and was definitely off taste. Our server/bartender was nice but not very sociable. Would like to see management pay more attention too this place because it has a very nice atmosphere. Beer good and many TV’s.

We went to dinner for my birthday, so I got mine for free because it was under 12 dollars. I had the Reuben with fries and my Husband had the 16oz. Prime Rib. I have to say that the service was great, but I have never had corned beef that was as bad as it was last night, I couldn’t even bite it let alone chew it, there was hardly any sauerkraut on it but the fries were good. My Husband’s steak was okay. Oh and the drinks were overly priced, I had a mixer and they put it in a little tub and charged 4 dollars for it. In my opinion this is not a fair amount for what I got. Even though I didn’t have to pay for my dinner our bill was still 34 dollars. I only had 2 drinks and my Husband had 2 beers. I don’t think I would be going to this place again, they are charging too much for drinks and the food was just okay.

We came from out of the area, we alway look for small local businesses to support. We came to this brewhouse and the outside seems nice. When we walked in, the inside is very dated. We were expecting a pub/brewery style atmosphere and we got a very dark, gloomy dated space. Didn’t really know where to sit or if we were suppose to wait to be seated. Once we found a spot we waited for awhile before we received a waitress(There was only 3 tables with a handful of people at the bar. There were four waiters and a bartender so they were staffed well). The table tops were sticky(asked waitress to clean and she didn’t) and the stools had cuts in the material. We had to ask for the menus. While we were thinking about what to order we asked about the dessert of the week(the menu said it was new) the waitress said I don’t know why that’s on there. We have not had that for a very long time. We started with bloody marys… They were not bad. Appetizers we passed on because they were not appealing(after getting our entrée, we were glad we opted out) We both ordered burgers. The beef had no flavor, frys were basic, potato salad had great flavor but had huge chunks(quarter of a whole potato). Before leaving we used the restroom which seemed to be the nicer part of the building however they have two styles of wallpaper up… Looks like they replaced only a portion to update it. Would not recommend.

Went here with the kids on a Saturday night. Food was nothing to write home about, burger was improperly cooked, and service was slow considering it was not very busy. Décor is a bit dated, looks like it was opened 20 years ago and never updated. The beer(Dunkel) was average.

The beer cheese soup is awesome and so are their ribs. Was able to get in and sit down right away on a Friday night. One of my favorite local restaurants.

This place delivers exactly what one should expect from a local bar/restaurant; a solid meal for a decent price. The place is clean and the service is friendly. Burgers, sandwiches and wraps, cheese curds, soups and chicken chili were all great choices. I visited on three occasions for lunch and never left disappointed.

Food is typical neighborhood bar and grill. Good beer. Go during happy hour where you can get a burger with fries and a pint of their brew for around $ 5.

This place used to have the best White Chicken Chili ever! But now– change of owners, change of cooks, who knows– it tastes like extremely salty broth, with barely anything in it. So sad. There’s good beer, but the food is adequate to poor. Fair warning.

Ran over on my lunch break to pick up something to go. I got the cajun shrimp wrap. It was decent. Nothing special and the fries were super soggy. The wrap was ok, but kind of on the spicy side. Prices are a bit too much for what you get. On the flip side, the place is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly.

Good beers, good food! I especially like their baked French onion soup — some of the best I have had! And, on a non-food note, they have electronic trivia available, which is always fun!
