The rates were good, the room was clean and if I would have known the pool was 24 hours I would have taken advantage and brought a suit. The location was very convenient and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was actually a little better then I expected, there was even some to-go options. We did go to the lobby thinking we might be able to get a beer in the little lobby«store» with no luck, but otherwise solid choice in the area.

In order to understand my star rating, I have to give you the story day by day. Because it started out as a 10 star(not even a 5 star) yet slowly degraded into a 2 star from there. Some of it isn’t the hotel’s fault specifically, but I really feel that the hotel has the power to avoid what has happened and should do it without me having to complain to the front desk. DISCLAIMER: I really hate giving such a negative rating. But it’s the only way to give them information to help them improve into the hotel they could be. The travel was booked by an agency and I received a suite upgrade at no charge. I don’t know if this was really a good thing, in hindsight. But at the time it made me think very highly of the hotel. SUNDAY I got to the hotel. Very out of the way, a ton of construction going on made it difficult to get in. You have to drive down a ways and make a U-turn, but to its credit it was close to the airport and my destination, so I forgave this. Room key was ready per my mobile check in. So far so good. Room is 8 out of 10 in quality, 2 points off for a bed sheet totally insufficient for the mattress and an old school loud window heater/air conditioner. MONDAY It’s a ghost town, I mean literally. Nobody hardly staying there except one other guy. It was awesome, peaceful, quiet. No road noise, no plane noise. Free breakfast both hot and cold, nobody else there, means I was able to fully enjoy it. Nice. TUESDAY A few more people, but still awesomely peaceful. No issues, pleasant staff, free cookies at the front desk. Nice touch. Water in the machine is tap though — ugh. WEDNESDAY All was mostly good. A few more cars in the parking lot. All of a sudden, late night like 11PM, I hear the loudest cough I’ve ever heard in my life. THROUGHTHEWALL. It’s like the walls are paper thin. Guy keeps hacking for at least 5 minutes. So much for getting back to sleep. THURSDAY Oh my. 9:30PM and there’s a bunch of dudes laughing and talking at the top of their lungs somewhere nearby. Sounds like they’re standing in the hallway, I go to ask them to keep it down and — nobody. They’re in the room next to me ANDTHEY’RESOLOUDIT’S COMINGOUTTHROUGHTHEIRDOORANDECHOINGTHROUGHTHEHALL! This is not an exaggeration. Reported to front desk and it seemed to get resolved. FRIDAY I got done with my business early and was relaxing in the room. Around 7:30PM I hear a bunch of kids — at least 6 — running up and down the halls screaming and yelling and a bunch of doors slamming. Continued for 30 minutes. I checked outside and one of the brats had knocked my DND sign down. No parental monitoring. Joyriding the elevator which means I have to keep hearing it for no reason. Hacking guy is on a conference call and I can hear him AND who he’s talking to loud and clear. Not good. I’m checking out tomorrow, and that’s a very good thing. If the racket continues to where I can’t sleep, I’ll report the issue. But my real problem is how the rooms are booked. Hotels should not book parties, families and full groups together with singles for this very reason. Be smart about booking to avoid noise complaints. Frankly, I’m not quite clear given the room sizes why groups of like 8 people stay here anyway. The staff is nice and polite, the breakfast is sufficient, and the room is quality. But I really think they need to evaluate the room management process.

I am a fan of Marriott you always know you will get good service. This place has a nice what looks like new lobby. The staff is very nice. The rooms are clean and so is the hotel halls. Nice beds and good service is all you need. Im here for the Green bay game. Its so close to everything. If in green bay give them a try.

We would defnitely stay here again. Pros: Great location — right off the highway and couple of miles from Lambeau field Recently renovated — visually appealing and doesnt have that musty, old hotel smell that some of them seem to have New mattresses in the rooms — perfect amount of support Friendly, helpful staff Free breakfast with many options to choose from including fruits that were actually appealing(grapefruit cups, bananas that weren’t overripe) — not the same old menu of only waffles and bread products Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby WiFi connection was strong Cons: The pool could have been cleaner and the whirlpool/hot tub water temp wasn’t as hot as they should be

I have to travel down to Green Bay when I want to see things like concerts or new movies. When In Green Bay, I normally choose to stay at the Fairfield Inn. They have reasonable prices, clean rooms, and fitness/pool facilities that are open 24 – 7. Last time I stayed there, It was January and the front desk staff had set out free packets of instant hot chocolate.

The headline? Utilitarian, cheap and centrally located between both I-43 and Hwy 41. And close to anything that you’d want to see in Green Bay. This Fairfield Inn gets my vote for location alone. But when you couple that with the pool(lap swimming was never easier) the great front counter personnel and the free breakfast in the morning, it all adds up to a pretty good deal for a budget hotel. While the Fairfield Inn is the bottom rung of the Marriott chain(and I personally prefer the other end of the ladder), it will do in a pinch. No, the towels are not big and fluffy, there is no marble in the bathroom and you won’t sink into a bed adrift with tons of pillows and comforters. But you will get a clean room at a good price. And what more do you really need?
