Collins Muffler and Service

Joe is fantastic, I went in for some work on my exhaust system and it was done in time and for the price quoted. Please don’t overlook these guys for your needs.

I know about four things about cars. I can drive, I can check my oil, I can pour coolant into the coolant tank and, don’t even get me started on how I can pump gas like nobody’s business. Outside of my basic maintenance wheel house, I’m lost. My very first experience flying solo at a repair shop promised to be frightening one but I was pleasantly surprised at the service, cost and efficiency I found at Collins Muffler Shop.
This all happened last year when I needed a new fuel pump in my Monte Carlo to pass emissions and keep myself the road. I’d called around to several other shops for estimates and was a little overwhelmed at the numbers I’d been getting. Collins estimate was at least $ 150 cheaper than the other estimates I’d gotten, including parts and labor. And, I didn’t even need to schedule an appointment. I drove right up, waited while they completed my service and within a few hours, had an emissions worthy auto. The estimate I got a on the phone held true and I got a really good warranty on my new fuel pump. I may not know cars but, these guys do and they’re honest about it.
I’m currently having issues with my heater core and called the shop to see about an estimate for this problem. Without an exact diagnosis, the gentleman I spoke to couldn’t give an exact quote but gave the best information he could and encouraged me to come on in and have my Monte looked at. I’m saving cash right now so I can tackle the problem all at once but, Collins has got me as a customer. Second review pending.
