Wayne’s Pizza & Ice Cream Parlor

Wayne’s is *the* best around. Two slices your choice (and a medium drink) of thin, thick or one of each for just about five bucks. it’s a great deal. I normally get a large fry ($ 1.99) as well to fill up on and i am always pleased leaving Wayne’s. I will be back time and time again because this thin crust pizza is perfect. Thin, smoky, flavorful and is spiced up just perfectly. The thick pizza is good but the thin is unbeatable. Highly recommended to anyone in the area looking for a good slice. Reminds me of back home on the east coast.

Thin crust is top notch. When I’m craving, and I usually am, Wayne’s is my first choice. Service is very friendly and fast. Prices are very reasonable in terms of what you’re usually paying for a pizza at some of these other places. They’re always honest on times. I’ve ordered more times than I can count on a few hands combined, and never one mistake!
I’ve never checked out the ice cream parlor, but that may be because of the time of day I go. I usually get a za for dinner and not lunch. One of these days I’ll grab some and add that portion to my review. Great one stop shop for dinner and desert!

Wow! This place has the absolute BEST pizza ever! I’m an Italian from Kenosha, WI where they are pretty much known for all their pizza places. But Wayne’s has definitely won my vote! I never write reviews but I am eating thus pizza at this exact moment and just had to share my views. Yummmmmy! P. s. GREAT SERVICE TOO!!!

I have the good fortune of living close enough to Wayne’s so I can eat there all the time! I normally order a large size so I have leftovers for a couple days. Every kind of pizza here is amazingly delicious, though I am partial to the stuffed pizza. My go to is the stuffed pizza with sausage and mushrooms. Pure heaven! They also have coupons online you can print off and bring in to save a little. The weekends can be a crazy and I have noticed a few times when picking up my pizza that it has been hastily thrown together, but never has it tasted bad and I can totally get how hard it is to keep up with all the orders when you are so good. I heard the breakfast pizza is delicious so going to try that next.

Thin Pizza is very good and the bosco sticks you can never go wrong with! I got there Pan pizza once and it was very decadent. It was over whelming for me and hurt my stomach. For everyone eating here I would get the thin crust!

I grew up in Chicago. I know how pizza should be. Chicago pizza is *not* thick bread with tomato sauce and cheese!!! There are two kinds of Chicago pizza, deep-​dish and thin crust.
Thin crust requires more than a crust rolled thinly. The crust needs to crunch without having a cracker consistency. The sauce and the cheese need seasoning, and not a mere pass at the oregano and basil. The oil from both the sauce and the cheese should drip in yummy anticipation.
Wayne’s exceeds the expectations of Chicago thin crust. The smell alone brought back childhood memories!!! While I couldn’t taste it, family and friends swore I was missing the taste treat of the decade.
Wayne’s also carries a variety of other foods and meals. The Italian beef is excellent, even without the bread.
The prices are reasonable. You might have to wait on Friday evening, and thoughout Saturday. Be patient. It is worth it.

My dad used to take me here when I was a kid and I went back and it tasted just as amazing as I remember. If only the pizza slices were a bit bigger.

Pizza is pretty good. Very greasy and it seems like some of the employees aren’t coherent. It has smelled like weed a few times I was there, and I saw some smoke as people came in from the back. Food is good, but could be a lot better and the place is either kinda clean or dirty. I’m not too sure about this place anymore. Ranges from good, to kinda bad. BBQ chicken double decker pizza was my favorite.

My husband and I love this place. Their pizza special is amazing and they will make you pretty much any kind you want. We have a picky eater in our family and even he loves coming here! The staff is always nice and food comes up quick.

When you first walk in to pick up your order, the place seems dated and a little dirty. The last time I went in, I asked the young girl at the front counter if she could look up my order and her exact words were «I dunno, I just answer phones» and she straight up turned and walked away… honestly, it was almost funny.
So I just waited until I got someone else, who promptly pulled out my order. Let me tell you– WAYNE’S PIZZA IS DELICIOUS! It’s SO GOOD!!! Makes all the goofy customer service just kind of fade away…

I love pizza and this is hands down my favorite pizza by the slice. I prefer thin crust pepperoni. Friendly staff and excellent value. Nice outside eating area for sunny days! They also have a claw machine for the kiddos. You gotta try it!

Love love love their pizza! I worked next door and we constantly were ordering from here. The crust is so thin, and it stays crispy unlike most places where it starts to get soggy and just not good eats. I think it’s their sauce that gets me though, it’s so tasty! I have ordered pizza from here to go and then drove home to the Antioch area and the crust was still crunchy. Definitely my favorite pizza in lake county!

Like the individual slices of pizza for sale here. This place has been a favorite of mine for many years. A little plain inside but the pizza dogs are the best here. I give five stars based only on the Pizza dogs

Apparently I cannot read an invitation to a kid birthday party. My husband I were on our way to my nephew’s 12^th birthday party but we were more than an hour early so I jumped on Unilocal to see what was nearby and not being from the area, I didn’t know what we would find. I asked him if he felt like some ice cream and he perked up like… well, like a 12 year old boy!
We drove right past this place, thanks iPhone maps for your fantastic services! We pulled in to a strip mall that has obviously been here for-​EVER! A little run down but in a charming way.
When we walked in, we noticed a lot of people eating pizza and no one eating ice cream so we split a lunch special which included two (2) slices of pizza and a small drink for $ 5. All they had was sausage left, so we each got a slice of sausage pizza. It was good. I loved the thin crust and noticed many, many pizzas leaving the place in the short time we were there so it’s obviously a local favorite.
We went into the larger dining area near the ice cream cases to find a lot of the tables were kinda dirty. We chose the cleanest one we could find and parked it.
We were just trying to kill a little bit of time, so this was the perfect spot. That, and neither of us had eaten that day so a little something in our tummies was ideal. Being a hot August day and there wasn’t any AC in this place, we ate and left. Skipped the frozen treats but next time we’re in the area, I definitely would like to try out a scoop.
It’s a shame it’s not closer to home because I could go for another slice of their pie!

We decided to order from here after seeing the good reviews and were UNpleasantly surprised.
We ordered 3 different thin crust pizzas. The crust was extremely chewy on 2 of the pizzas and the third was cooked well. There was nothing special about the pizza regarding the sauce or toppings. This made all the good reviews very confusing.
The only positive was their customer service. The people we talked to were extremely nice.
