Yuck. I ordered a white pizza and it came soaked with something that tasted like bottled ranch dressing. No thank you.

Everyone was helpful and smiling. They carried my pizzas to my grocery cart because i was carrying my one year old. Great service!

I’ve ordered pizzas from here for a number of years with mixed results. Lately, the service has gone downhill and tonight just sealed the deal. They advertise a $ 10 large pizza on Tuesday only. So, I called in to order my pizza with plenty of advance warning. I wanted the family size rather than the large, so the ditzy high school chick on the phone tells me it will be 2, no wait, 3 dollars more for the family size. I’m OK with that. When I come in to pick up the pizza, I’m quoted a price of $ 18.00. I told the kid at the front that I was told it was 12 or 13. She asks some guy in the back if they have any deal on the family vs. the large and he say only with a coupon. What a bunch of BS. I walked out. The last year or so it seems that you pay whatever the idiot at the register thinks you should pay. I have bought an $ 18.00 pizza for $ 8.00 because the kid at the register was clueless and then tonight I was told the family size is $ 8.00 more than the large size. The family size is only about 30% larger at best and you want almost double the price? Me thinks not. I encourage you all to move your business to Miner Moe’s in Nevada City and help support a local business that makes a MUCH better pizza for the same money than this chain that surely doesn’t need anyone’s business. I even ordered a take and bake pizza from Miner Moe’s’ and they accidentally cooked it and then asked for the full price. I told them that it was supposed to be a take and bake, so they gladly refunded the difference. Maybe this place should take some lessons in customer service from a real customer service oriented pizza place like Miner Moe’s. What’s wrong with you kids at this dump? Do you think you’ll get fired if you collect the«incorrect» amount of $ for a pizza and piss off a long time customer never to return again? And no, I do not own or work for Miner Moe’s. I am a local doctor that likes a shot of decent pizza once a month and I sure won’t be coming back here.

This isn’t the 1st time we’ve gotten an attitude OR a screwed up order, but this time takes the cake and will be my last $$ spent with this business. For years I’ve been ordering from this location, THEEXACTSAMEPIZZA.; a Cowboy with all of the olives on half the pizza(not half the olives on half the pizza, which is what they ussually do and then try to charge me for putting the other half on because they say I ordered it that way). This time when we arrived and paid, they brought the pizza and it was ½ the MUSHROOMS on ½ the pizza and a slight amount of olives on the whole pizza. They would not fix it as they INSISTED that it was ordered that way and would not budge. The word mushrooms was never uttered during the ordering phone call. They think that they are the only pizza in town. They have raised their prices $ 2.00 on the pizza that I order and expect me cook it myself and to be insulted at the same time. There are at least ten other pizza businesses in a 5 mile radious that will cook it before I get there and I will be indulging in most of them for my 12 pizzas per year from now on.

Rating strictly on customer service. I went in specifically to get a Sunsplash coupon. I ask the lady politely if I can have a coupon. Tiffany said only with a purchase. I went on to tell her that we just ordered a bunch of pizzas last week and the coupons got thrown away(true story). She still said no. It just seemed a petty and unnecessary.

I cooked it! Cheap, easy to follow instructions, and it’s done in about 5 minutes. And the pizza is always cooked the way you like it. HA!

I visit Grass Valley a few times a year to visit relatives, and almost every time I’m in town we order pizza from the Papa Murphy’s Take & Bake in the Brunswick area. Earlier tonight we had an unfortunate experience: we called at 7:25 p.m. to order two pizzas, one a Cowboy with bacon, the other a Gourmet Vegetarian. My sister and nieces were under the impression that this location was open until 9 p.m. every night so we thought we had plenty of time to pick up the pizzas. We went to pick it up around 8, in fact we got there at 8:02 p.m., and when my nieces walked in and said they were there to pick up the pizzas, the counter attendant said(not very politely) «We gave away one of your pizzas because we’re closing. But we still have the vegetarian one if you still want it.» He also said that because they were closing, they couldn’t make another Cowboy pizza to replace the one they had given away. It seems that when we called, they could’ve mentioned that they were closing within the hour. And, since they asked for our phone number when we called in our order, it seems that they could have called us as 8 p.m. approached, to let us know they were getting ready to close. Why would they ask a customer for their phone number and then just«give away» one of their pizzas rather than utilizing the phone number they asked for?

Excellent food and ALWAYS excellent service! Avoid the Papa Murphy’s on McKnight Way, poor service! We drive the extra miles just to go to this Papa Murphy’s. Kudos!
