Grass Valley Nails

I absolutely love this place! I have tried other salons in the past, but I always come back here. They are so kind, and always smiling. Everyone makes you feel welcome. Best pedicures in town! I have never done any of their other services, but imagine they are just as great as their pedis. Give them a try, you’ll be glad you did!

I’ve been going to grass valley nails for the past 6 months after moving to the area and am always pleased with my lip wax, pedicure, gel full set, and gel fills. I’m very particular about any beauty services I have done and this salon has met my standards by far. My nails look amazing every time and the owner is very professional and accommodates to fitting me in even at the last minute. Several times I have been complimented on my nails while out and about in the local grocery stores and such, and turns out many other people I’ve met in the community also go to this salon and are also satisfied with their services. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and very skilled at what they do. Clean and spacious environment, and run smoothly even during busy times without making anyone wait as some nail salons do because of poor management and not enough staff which causes some people having to wait a much longer wait times than they were told. The estimate on wait times given to those who walk in without an appt are accurate and not misleading as I’ve seen some places do just to keep the customer in the salon. The cost is average in comparison to other salons in the area and it’s well worth every penny!

Went to get my nails fixed after 2 weeks barely of having a full sets done $ 50 and a good tip!
On walking in they said 10 minutes and it was over twenty minutes to get seated. I wrote my name and fix on the «list». I sat down and showed Adam my missing nail and the others which was «most», that were separating/​adhering from my nails .He told me he would «fix me up». So he replaced the missing name and file down all the rest. He promptly filled all my nails. He did only one coat otop coat and said he was done. I asked if I had to paid money he said yes $ 33. I looked down at the price list and asked why $ 33 if a fill was $ 30. He said $ 3 to fix the one nail. I said I would never be back paid him and walked out. I also have concerns about the cleaning practices I am a nurse and never saw anything wash down with antiseptic or cleaner, just swept with brushes and removing of paper towels or regular towels and definitely not fifteen minute of the pedicure sinks (which if I’m not mistaken is a state law) i would not recommended this place for multiple reasons and the workmanship is poor please see my photos of my nails and see tips not even and the little nail still not adhering properly.

The chairs are the best thing about this place! Went here with my bestie yesterday… my nail tech wasn’t friendly at all and could not speak a lick of English so it makes it really difficult to communicate. And there’s a reason there’s a foot massage place right next door. I told my tech I had gel on my toes so she knew acetone wasn’t going to do the trick… I immediately got attitude from her and it was all down hill from there. She filed off the tops off of almost every single one of my toes. I kept trying to tell her the dremel works for me. It took her FOREVER to get all the gel off! My bestie was done probably 15 mins before me and she had gel too! We left with calluses and blisters still. They do not offer a brochure so you can upgrade or see what other services are offered… We asked… That was like trying to pull teeth. They don’t do paraffin wax which I was really sad about. Overall experience is that they are overpriced with below average service. Don’t waste your time or money.

Like the previous review I have been a customer here for many years. unfortunately after my last pedicure I’m not sure if I will return I think it really all depends on the girl you get. I’ve been very happy many times but this last experience was just the end.
Let me start by saying that I made an appointment two days ahead of time. I arrived early, so there was no reason for me to have been rushed i sat down next to a woman who had also just had her pedicure started. I felt like my experience was rushed next thing I knew my clear coat was slapped on and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted to flower when I compared my pedicure to the woman who is sitting next to me I was two steps ahead and she had started before me I had to back up until the woman that I wanted a flower and she has set all I already put a clear coat on she put one on anyways but it was just the point I was disappointed when you pay that much money you don’t want to feel disappointed I will be looking elsewhere for my next pedicure
The following day the polish chipped and i lost a stone of the flower on my big toe! I’ve honestly never felt so disappointed from pedicure…

Very nice staff! Excellent at nails and very fair pricing! I’ve been a loyal client for 2+ years and have Never been let down! Hands down the Best nail salon in Grass Valley !
