Took my pickup truck in for an oil change in 2017 and a few months later all the oil drained out and the engine froze. Mechanics at Foothill Car Care found the filter had worked loose and was caught in the undercarriage. Gold Country had installed the wrong size filter on my truck. It cost me over $5,000 for a rebuilt engine. Will never go to Gold Country Express for any kind of service.

These guys are great. They are straight up and honest. I asked them to check my transmission fluid because I was having some trouble on the drive up from Oakland. They could have sold me on a transmission flush but instead they inspected, saw that the fluid was full and clear (I had a full tune up not too long ago) and let me know it was fine. I got an oil change and filter for about $ 36 in about 15 minutes and I am back to enjoying the weekend with my wife and baby daughter. Thanks for your help guys.

This shop has been doing the lube service on two of our vehicles for over a year now and do a great job, without trying to always «upsale». The detail guy they have working there has now been doing a monthly wash and wax job on my truck for almost two years now and it looks great! Always friendly and very helpful.
