Best In Show

Was traveling through grass valley on vacation, our dogs (Dodger and Raider) we’re in desperate need of some TLC after 2 weeks on the road and 2 more weeks to go. She took care of our «boys» as if they we’re her own. Highly recommend Best in Show. Thank you

So, this review is coming a couple months late, but better late than never! We relocated to the Grass Valley area at the end of August and needed to immediately be out of town for a week for a family wedding — and we couldn’t bring our two precious chihuahuas along :-(They are young and and shy and have not spent much time away from my husband and i, so we were pretty anxious about finding a nurturing, home-​like setting for them. Donna was more than we could’ve asked for! She took the time to meet with us and our chis before we committed, which really put our minds at ease; she was warm and friendly with us, but, more importantly, she got right down on our dogs’ level and made THEM feel at ease! She was concerned about sticking with their routine and all that she could do to make them as comfortable as possible while we were away. Her place was clean, she was completely professional and very reasonably priced. I will always have Donna take care of my girls if the need arises again.

Donna Brock is a wonderful groomer. She does my 3 English Cockers and they love to go in! I’ve taken them places where I had to drag them in, but they wag and wiggle going to Best in Show! Won’t go anywhere else.

WE LOVED DONNA! We were in Grass Valley for my sister’s wedding this pass weekend, and needed to make sure our Abbey girl was taken care of. Being that this was our first time leaving Abbey with a stranger, I was nervous to say the least, but Donna and Best in Show came highly recommended by the Court Yard Suites in Grass Valley so we said, let’s see how it goes. As soon as we arrived Donna immediately welcomed us and Abbey and gave us a run down of all the fun activities Abbey will be a part of, kind of like Doggy Summer Camp! We also had Abbey groomed by Donna too. If you ever need a place to keep your dog child, Donna and Best in Show is the place to go.

Donna is an awesome groomer and takes wonderful care of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Percy spends his vacations with Donna and at the end is a bit reluctant to leave her, he loves her so much. She has great facilities and you can tell she loves the dogs. We drive up from the Bay Area to leave Percy with her for our extended trips and it is so worth it. We couldn’t recommend her more.

Donna Brock is absolutely amazing! She was so kind to us and worked with our four legged family member, Halo Joe. She was so patient with him and customized his grooming to his comfort level while also returning him so beautiful and fresh. She also included a special touch of little crystals on his ears and a doggy bag of treats… just because he liked them so much! It was his first experience at the groomers and he’ll definitely be a regular… we’ll only ever use Donna! Super professional, friendly, accessible, affordable, clean and experienced! We highly recommend her and Best in Show!

Donna is GREAT with my 13-​year-​old Golden Retriever… very kind, caring, and conscientious about his special age-​related needs. I’ve used her as a groomer and now she’s doing doggie daycare for me 2 days a week… Casey loves seeing her!

Our dog runs in to see Donna when it is time for a grooming and she is always relaxed and happy when we pick her up from her «sleepovers».

New facility by the fairgrounds is easy to get to and there is doggy daycare if you are going to an event at the fairgrounds, perfect for out of town visitors.
