Great Thai place in grapevine! Came on a Friday Lunch and it wasn’t too busy. Clean and contemporary décor. Menu covers all your basic thai dishes and more. Thai ice coffee was rich and strong! Delicious! We ordered crab rangoons to start. Although on the smaller side, they were packed with flavor. Pad se ew– flavorful and you can smell the wok: try the roast pork it’s delicious! Crab fried rice– actual chunks of real crab in there! Their lunch menu is M-F for $ 8.95 you get an appetizer or soup and dishes to choose from. Good amount of food for that. *yelp needs to remove the check in coupon as that was expired in 2013

Plain and mediocre. Service was friendly. Got fried catfish curry and the nuggets didn’t even taste like catfish. The yellow curry was not adequately flavored. Disappointing meal close to $ 50(tip included) for two. Two and half stars is more like it.

We love this place. Authentic and they can turn the heat on if you like it hot. It’s a local favorite!

Their jungle curry was the worst. It was not a curry it was more soupy. I added shrimp for 2.50 and there was literally 2 shrimp in the curry. Worst experience for $ 16

Our family loves this restaurant and we’ve become regulars. I’m sure all of the food is good but our favorites are the Green and Yellow Curry, the Pad See Ew and Sri Ra Cha fried rice. The service is also great, always friendly and customer attentive.

Don’t be fooled by its strip mall location. I usually try an item at any restaurant and stick with it but their menu offers a variety which makes me want to try each one. The staff has been friendly but when it gets busy, there is a bit of a wait just like anywhere else. I call ahead for take out but it is worth the wait though. As for ambiance, it’s not romantic at all for a date night but fine for casual dining with a few friends and family.

Great tasting food !!! Tried pad Thai, red curry and veg fried rice. Taste is authentic„ spicy, portion size is awesome and price is just right. Ambience is OK, but service is friendly and quick.

This place was awesome. We ordered curry, a seafood stir fry and some noodles, all extra spicy. Everything was cooked to perfection and served quickly, hot and fresh. Also appreciated how clean the restaurant was kept, the floors and tabletops were gleaming. Will return for sure.

Great tomyum soup, pad keemow and pad Thai, definitely coming back here. All the food was very flavorful, and would advise spice level 2 unless you like them spicy.

First time here and went for lunch. I thought the food was good and the portions were nice. 2 small egg rolls with my lunch meal — the sauce was very good. Lunch sized portions but plenty as I did not finish it all. I ordered Massaman curry #1 spice and it was good. I did not love the atmosphere as much as other thai restaurants I have been to, hence the lower stars. I would have given this 3.5 stars but I could only do 3 or 4 and I did not want to ding a whole star for atmosphere. I would come here again. The people were friendly and it was busy, service was fine.

This was our first time at Thai Riverside. We went on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy but we only had to wait a moment while they cleared off a table. It was a casual/friendly environment. It’s a BYOB place, but I went for a diet coke which came in a 12 ounce can with a glass of ice. My father and I both ordered Chicken Pad Thai since it was our first time and weren’t sure what to expect. Our server asked, on a scale of 1 to 5, how spicy we like it. My dad, not a fan of spicy food, chose a 1 and was very pleased. I chose a 3 which I found to be pretty spicy. It was good, but next time I will go for a level 2. I found myself wishing my 12 ounce diet coke was a little larger! Overall, the food was delicious, the service was good, and we will be back!

Thai Riverside is yummy. I get the checken fried rice or drunken noodles. Always good. They are professional and you can order ahead

Thai Riverside is just a good place to eat for carry-out in the Grapevine area. The food was good, but it wasn’t exceptional so I give it a solid 3 stars. I personally wouldn’t dine in here because I’d rather drive a little bit to get to a Thai restaurant with AMAZING food, but I would definitely order take out from here again. I ordered the Panang and Mussuman curries with a spice level of 3 out of 5. Thankfully they go by a normal human spice scale where the 3 is spicy enough, but not killer.

I ordered take out and had chicken red curry, which was phenomenal. I highly recommend. I will absolutely order here again. So, why 4 stars? The interior atmosphere. I went in at 7:45 on a Saturday night. 2 tables were occupied and 1 large party had just left. The lights were on full blast(so it was super bright in the restaurant), the music was blaring, and the tv was on. This place is BYOB, so this could be the PERFECT date night spot, but the ambiance just totally kills it. This looks like a good lunch spot, or good take-out spot, or good dining-by-yourself spot, but not a good lets-go-out-to-dinner spot. Update: I’ve been a few times since and have eaten in the restaurant. Atmosphere still bugs me(although the tvs were at least muted). Food is really good(with the exception of crab Rangoon– it’s cold inside!).

I want to give this place 0 stars! Worst service I ever had! Called to order food to go and I asked the guy what kind of soups they had and his answer was«why don’t you come and look» I told him I only had 10 – 15 mins for lunch and he hung up on me! I called back and I asked why he hung up on me and he said he was busy and I needed to come to the restaurant! And hung up on me again. Honestly this place food might have been good but because of how I was treated I will never be going here. Why are you running a business if you can’t even serve your customers right?

After posting an honest review about an experience which I went completely ignored for 30 minutes, I received a Compliment from a «Derek T» from Grapevine with one review that was 5 stars for this location, which stated«You are an idiot». I am under the assumption this is an owner or employee of Thai Riverside. I messaged Derek T for clarification to only be called a «muscle head wanna be Bitch!». So be prepared to be called names by people after posting an honest review that isn’t favorable.

Found this spot by accident and I’m not having my 4th meal here in less than 2 weeks. Very good padthai, and that’s my go-to test to see if it’s a decent Thai place. I’ve NEVER been to a good Thai restaurant that didn’t do padthai well, and I’ve never gone back to a place that made bad padthai. Trying something different tonight! Great value. Great quality. Very happy.

Good Thai food. I liked the sauce that came with the avocado and crab fried roll. The massaman curry was also good. Alittle bit too much onion, but I guess I can modify that next time. All of the specials on the board looked really good. I’m a sucker for soft shell crab. The mango sticky rice was the best I’ve had in awhile. Will return. Casual clean ambience.

I dropped in here with some coworkers yesterday for lunch. I was pretty excited, since I do love good Thai food. The place isn’t much to look at, but nonetheless, it looked okay for what it was. I arrived a little later than my group, and sat down. I couldn’t tell who our waitress was, but about five minutes later, one came by to take my drink and food order. I chose the pineapple fried rice. I guess I must have made a bad choice, because it didn’t have much in the way of flavor. Everyone else’s dishes looked way better than mine, and apparently tasted better, too. The guy sitting across from me ordered the same thing I did, but spicier, and he didn’t care too much for it either. We were both commenting that for a dish called«pineapple fried rice», there wasn’t much pineapple in the dish. It didn’t taste seasoned, and was totally bland. I was not impressed, and definitely not happy that I paid close to ten bucks for that lunch special. For that price, I would have preferred to have a large bowl of the tom yum soup appetizer, which was actually pretty good. I may try this place again if my coworkers organize another lunch here, but otherwise, I won’t return. Service was kind of «meh», and overall, it was not a great first impression.
